The gym doors are typically locked and you need a fob to access it. The weekly fee was $20 plus $15 deposit for the fob. They have bikes and treadmills. Weight machines and free weights. Two squat racks with wooden platforms. Kettle bells bosu balls. Really something for everyone. They ask that you wipe down your equipment if you sweat on it and wear gym shoes and not outside shoes. The gym is open 24/7. They have a bathroom and shower if you need it. My wife ended up coming with me and they have a lockbox to throw some money into when that happens. Like I said, very nice little gym for Spring Green. Will use it whenever I'm up here.

Although we used the gym during "regular hours," the convenience of being open 24 hours eliminated any excuses and made it simple when deciding to go: whenever we wanted to. We will be back.

It really supportive and friendly gym if you are just starting to workout or if you already know what you're doing. They even offers some classes that are similar to CrossFit so you can get so many options all in one place. However one gym can't have everything and still be reasonably priced. So some things that might draw you to alternatives in the area will be gyms that will have more expansive hours-esp on the weekends, personal trainers that are more intense, or if you prefer the massage chair and water massage options that other gyms include in membership. For the price point and what it offers, this is very solid selection. Personally I would love for it to have a little bit more, but I also know that gyms like Lifetime cost $200 a month.

I was so excited to meet Peter since I loved watched him on the Bachelor. My hopes were very high when I met him and he did not disappoint!! Peter was very personable and his passion for fitness was very clear. He was so excited about his business opening and graciously allowed my husband and I the opportunity to work out free of charge at the facility a few times to try it out. He even let me take a picture with him and went the extra mile to comment on the picture on Instagram. The facility itself is extremely clean, well organized, and even well decorated. There are several weight and cardio machines to choose from. All the machines are relatively new and accessible. There's even a training area covered in astroturf. They use this area for classes led by different instructors, including Peter. The classes are super fun and the instructors do a great job of training their members and making the classes fun. The gym has a great location in downtown Middleton. It's near several shops, apartments, and even a brewery right next door if you want to reward yourself after a great workout! There's even a bunch of green space in front. I was definitely considering becoming a member until we moved about 20 minutes North. We are thinking of moving back to the Middleton area one day so if we do, I will definitely be joining Peter Kraus Fitness.

You get personalized attention and you have the entire gym to yourself during each workout session. I have a very demanding work schedule too, but Rob always works with me to make sure I get the exercise I need to stay healthy and reduce stress. I should also say that I've always struggled with high cholesterol and my levels went down 15% after 6 months of working out at Body Mechanix. Highly recommend it!
