This AT & T store has absolutely terrible service. They ordered the wrong color phone and then said they would not change it out and order the correct one without us driving all the way out there all over again. My mother is 82 and has dementia. She received a bill for last month stating that she did not pay the prior month. This is completely false as I am handling all of her bills and it was paid and it cleared the bank showing that it was transferred Electronically from a check and deposited by AT&T themselves. The payment is not showing up on their system and my husband tried to resolve the problem by going to the store on Central Avenue and they directed him to the store on Monroe street because it's corporate. So he went there and the black gentleman who helped him said he would not talk to him at all Since he did not have power of attorney on the account and that if I came in with the power of attorney, then he would be able to help with my billing questions. So on my only day off, I dug up the power of attorney for my mother and went over there only to walk into an entire store of Black people and no one looking like they even had a clue what was going on. I went up to the one older white gentleman and told him that I have been getting the runaround from Customer Service and the other store and was directed to come here because it's a corporate store. He informed me that there was not a manager on site and he couldn't even answer any billing questions because they don't handle the billing department. I told him that was funny because my husband was in there earlier and they told me to come back with the power of attorney and could help me answer my billing questions... needless to say I stormed out of the store very upset without any issues ever solved. The people in there do not care whatsoever and when you walk in the door, they do not even acknowledge you. Most unprofessional store and employees I have ever seen. I would give this store ZERO stars but unfortunately had to pick one star. Worst store and help ever. read more

the management at this store needs to be seriously reviewed. they have an "I'll get to it when I feel like it" attitude. after speaking with the DISTRICT manager, the store manager has yet to call me or fix the issue that his employee caused. people make mistakes, that's fine, it's been 3 weeks since and it's still not fixed by the district or store manager, no phone call, no attempt whatsoever. Pete Elias is the store manager. Boy does this guy not have a professional bone in his body. He insisted that his employee Brad did his job correctly. Told me that customers make decisions all the time. Which he wanted to say but did not say "customers make mistakes all the time." He would not do anything to help with the mistake Brad made in the store. Explained that Brad did everything he was specifically told to do. Which Brad did not. While in the store, no one was there. Makes a little more sense. The employees along with Pete Elias were discussing a bet they made which most lost. All within my listening distance. After trying to resolve the problem with Pete, he told me he would do nothing because he is sure that Brad did everything he was suppose to. Within minutes he told me that he would be passing on my info to his boss and hung up. Completely ridiculous. Called AT&T Care and got a great rep. Where she fixed everything AND told me it would be reported of his actions. Been a customer of AT&T since 2008 when I got off my parents plan. Love how a customer of that long gets treated. In fact... It is my LONGEST running account. Maybe it's time to leave. read more

Went in about a phone issue and the manager was extremely rude. Once he found out I wasn't there to buy something his demeanor changed dramatically. Save your time and find another store or just call customer service. I won't deal with a store that will be happy to sell me something one day but won't follow through on their promises the next. read more

My internet was shut off on July 10th by a mistake and it's won't be able to be turned on till Aug 20th and they have over $200 of mine and won't refund me!! read more

Sprint Store on Monroe St. My boyfriend came in and spoke with brad explaining that he needed to file an ins claim but was not the account holder he went through all the steps asking him the security code and my personal info just to tell him 30 min later he needed my ID which is fine, however this is something that could have been explained before wasting 30 min of his time when he said he wasn't the account holder to begin with. So I go in last fri and speak with the manager and file the claim on the ipad he first tells me the claim is $115 dollars, I ask how he knows that when nothing ever specified that he then goes on to tell me its 25% off 225 for having no claims for 6 months and it would be $150 ( I'm no mathematician but that is not correct) he also tells me I'm all set and should receive my new phone in two days by mail, well it is now wednesday I have not received my phone so I log into my account and the claim was never submitted and the phone is actually $168. I was with sprint for 4 years and switching to at&t was the worst choice I have ever made the staff is completely incompetent and when I called to get some type of explanation ken the manager on duty at the time basically told me it was my fault I didn't hit the correct button and there was nothing he could do to compensate for my time or being out a phone for an additional 5 days. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Do yourself a favor and choose any other wireless provider! read more

We visited this location today. From the moment we entered to the end our experience was just terrible. I went with my wife. The agent asked our id and my wife did not have it. (Her name is on the account so he needed that ) We understand the need of the id on the account but we wanted the information before we could start thinking about any upgrade since we were looking to add one more line and also get a upgrade, Without even listening to any of our requirements the agent just says that since you dont have your id I cannot help you. I asked him that cant we even get information about the plans if we dont have our id??? He says no. I had my id but he wanted to add my name to my wife's account before he could help us. We were still ok at this point thinking that he is just doing what he is required to do, We had att app in our cellphone but the app wasn't working for some reason so we logged in to our account using the internet webpage and that is when he still kept denying to help us. We showed him that the app is not working and we only need information about the plans. He said no he can't. Than he goes towards the side and completely ignores us while we are trying to get the app working and attends a phone call for about 10 mins.,Mean while the store manager walks in and asked if we were helped and as we started to tell her about what we need the sales agent walks in hanging up his phone and again tries to take over the situation showing the manager that their was no problem here. After that he says he can only help if we give him our phone to take care of the app since the manager was just around. I finally gave him my phone and he helps me out and gives me all the information in just about 1 min. Throughout the time his eyes were at the door looking for other customers and giving them advice about what they need and trying to ignore us when we were trying to get just information from him. We will never get back to this location. His ignorance almost made my wife cry and we felt as if we were of no importance to att. Just to let you know that we both have been with att in various different plans for about 8 years and never had this kind of experience ever. read more

My husband and I recently got married and we were looking for ways to save money monthly. My husband has been an AT &T customer for 3 years and suggested that I leave Verizon. Since we have switched over a few weeks ago, it has been total confusion and a mess. First of all, when we went in and talked to Jay at the Monroe Street location, he asked us if we wanted to add on Samsung Gear watch for an extra $10 a month and at first we said no but then Jay that works at the Monroe Store said that we could change our minds within 13 business days about the watches from purchase. My husband decided within 2 days of when we left the store that he did not want the watch as it did not work. The watch was promised to stay charged for a 3 day period but within 7 hours, the watch would go dead with no usage. My husband went back to the AT &T store on Monroe Street. Jay at the store said that was odd that it didn't charge and gave my husband another watch. Jay at AT & T refused to return the watch because they wanted to charge my husband $35.00 for a restocking fee. My husband took the newer watch and tried it out. The newer watch that was given to him still didn't hold the charge once again. My husband called AT & T and they told him to return the watch since it was defective. My husband once again traveled to the AT&T store that is about 20 minutes away with traffic. My husband talked to a different representative this time at the store and that representative took the watch back and did not charge us a restocking fee. Before my husband knew about the defective watch situation, he also ordered me a watch. Once we found out about the defective watch twice, we decided to not move forward with my watch. When my watch arrived at the house we refused shipment and never opened the box. We noticed there was a $10.00 charge for a tablet on our bill that never even existed. We never were even interested in a tablet when we first signed up with Jay at the store. My husband went back and forth over the phone and in the store for over 2 weeks now. The store and corporate were not on the same page. No one could figure the billing out. On top of that, we just looked at our monthly bill and it is a total of $270.00. We were told the monthly bill would be around $145.00 plus tax. We only have 2 Samsung S7 phones with 15 gigs shared, that is it. We do not have any added accessories. No watches and no tablets. We both work 40 hours a week and do not have time to be making frequent trips to the store multiple times a day. Like I said earlier, I was a Verizon customer before this. I had not issue with them but my husband and I wanted to save money. My husband persuaded me to join AT&T because he has liked being your customer and has never had a problem there. I was skeptical, but decided to do it. I am very disappointed with your customer service department. I work in customer service and reputation management for a living at a local well know place in Toledo, where one of your AT&T stores is located. This is my first time ever actually writing on Yelp, even though I answer reviews for a living all day long. I would really appreciate some type of apology and also for this bill to be taken care of correctly. My husband is not happy that he has to once again visit your store tomorrow. We really don't want to leave your business, but if this doesn't get taken care of we will. Thank you for listening and resolving this issue. Thank you. read more
