The location is clean and the selection is pretty good for a more intermediate-size hardware store. It's also mostly consistent with the idea of shopping locally. This location seems to always have some sort of philanthropy effort going on.

They're a great resource, and I'm thankful they're here for us. They keep on top of stocking, so empty bins are rare. Downside is they're expensive relative to larger, home-improvement type stores, but you can't beat the convenience. The liberal hours are a big plus, something rare in our small town. Floor staff is friendly and helpful... but the checkout clerks? I find friendlier, more personable clerks at the DMV. Clearly, they're trained to be cold fish, absolutely not deviate from the annoying script about the rewards card, and refuse to recognize regular, frequent customers. Seems a little odd (to me) because I rarely need the guys on the floor - I know the store nearly as well as they do - so the only contact is usually with checkout. Heckuva way to treat your profit.
