My phones glass front broke (spider web cracked) going through airport security. Looking online for…read moresolutions it became obvious that special tools were required and several tricks could mess things up. Looked into the option of sending it back to Samsung (Galaxy S9) which would take 10 days and cost roughly the same as my local "Ubreakwefix" shop. So I gave it to them and though they told me it would take 2 hours (it took 3.5) I ended up with all new innards as well as the replaced glass. So the battery is new, the USB C connector is new (the old one had been intermittently griping when connected to the charger) and it should last well beyond my last T-Mo payment. Whatever eBay screen he's using to fix phones with will only give you problems! He throws the word "globally" and "worldwide" around in an attempt to make himself sound legit. He tried to tell me my battery had "nothing to do" with my screen... and he expected me to believe that?! I'm 23, I know how phones work. He "fixed" it again, still glitching Feb 5th then the screen broke with no effort over the weekend and he wouldn't repair it after that even though I have literal evidence (I added the picture) of it being broken before. He told me to find someone else. He's using a cheap screen to get you in and get you out and when it *inevitably* cracks again he won't warranty it and claim it's your phone that's the issue. 1 Star -- The Worst Repair Experience of My Life!…read more I've never written a bad review before, but what happened at this so-called "repair shop" was an absolute disgrace. I came to them because the backlight on my Samsung phone stopped working -- the phone turned on, charged, made calls, everything worked fine, I just couldn't see the screen. After their "diagnosis," they told me I needed to replace the entire screen module. I trusted their judgment and paid $125 for the repair. And guess what? I got my phone back in worse condition than before. The screen now just lights up, but I can't unlock it at all. The phone keeps saying my pattern is incorrect -- even though I've used the same pattern for over 7 years on all my devices without ever changing it. When I came back to explain the issue, instead of helping, they started acting rude and defensive, trying to blame me and claiming that I must have changed the password before bringing it in. Really? The same pattern I've used for seven years somehow stopped working the moment you touched the phone? Their explanations were completely nonsensical. It's obvious they have no real technical understanding of what they're doing. Even a beginner could find dozens of possible causes online -- faulty digitizer calibration, firmware mismatch, bad grounding, incompatible touch controller -- yet they didn't check any of that. Zero professionalism. Zero responsibility. To make matters worse, the "new screen" they installed turned out to be used and scratched, even though they promised me a brand-new one. I have photos to prove it. So now I've ended up with a broken phone after paying for a "repair." I had to go back just to get my old screen returned so I could take it to someone competent. This company is the definition of incompetence, dishonesty, and poor customer service. They don't care about quality, only about taking your money and blaming you when things go wrong. Avoid this place at all costs! If you value your phone, your time, and your sanity -- do NOT bring it here. Shops like this should not even be allowed to repair phones.
