I recently upgraded my phone They informed me that I was Eligible for 2 free Apple Watches (I should have known better) and was told my total monthly bill would be $187. When I received my bill today it was $296!!! After speaking with ATT they were able to drop it to $207. Still not the $187 but better than $296. Have to send back the watches but I don't need a phone on my watch! Avoid! They upsell over the top. read more

After visiting the 6 mile / Newburg store where the staff is clearly not trained I went to this store and was helped immediately, fixed my problem with my phone and was able to transfer all my information to a new phone. Update: I went there 2 days ago and the guys where really helpful and nice. Danny, Chase, and Moe are great! They're very understanding, honest, and patient. They helped me get me issue solved even when it took about 2 hours! They are also very professional. When I went in at first a crazy Karen went in right after me, yelling and throwing fits, "threatening" to get corporate involved through Twitter (lmao ) because of something that Verizon did!!!! These guys handled themselves very professionally and even tried to explain and give alternative aid. I think they were amazing, super helpful, and understanding. Thanks guys! Word of advice: be nice, they don't make the rules! Original: I've been to this store a couple of time and every time I have been treated very well. They have great customers service, they work very well with you and they are patient and friendly. They are very good at their job and very well familiar with the phones lines and how it all work. They will work with you and help you set everything up, figure anything you don't understand out, and help you get the best out of your plans. They have everything you can get at any other store. They help with ANY questions no matter how foolish you may think it is. It's also really convenient as it is the only ATT store in Northville. SHADY!!! I went in to upgrade my phone, and the salesman ( and the woman who kept jumping in to convince me) talked me into 2 watches in addition to the new phone. I said no thanks, I have no need for the watches. He said, they are free, and having the extra lines will lower your bill by $10. He looked at my bill and said I am paying $180 a month (which is INSANE) I asked what is my out the door bill going to be, what will I see on my paper bill in the mail every month? I told him it is NEVER what the cell phone store says it will be. He assured me that he added all the fees and taxes and odds and ends that you always get with cell phone companies, and it will only be $170 a month. A savings of $10. I said, Fine give me the watches if it is going to lower my bill. My new bill came and it was $252. Turns out the watches were NOT free. There was a $35 one time activation, there was a $10 per month charge, there are usual taxes and fees just like you other lines, so it was a monthly fee of $24 a month for each watch. HARDLY free, much less LOWER monthly payment. I spent 1 hour and 44 minutes on the phone with AT&T getting return tags and credits, and forgot to even mention the credit I need for the taxes on the watches I had to pay up front. So I will have to call back again for that. When this contract is over, GOODBYE AT&T. And the Northville Snake Oil sales people who work there. Biggest scammers ever. Salesman had no clue what he was talking about. They add multiple charges unknowingly to your bill to upsell. Made lots of big promises, that they did not keep. Manager acts nice and says he's going to fix everything but never does. After 3 months of paying double of what I was quoted, I finally had to call Corporate who was well aware of the scheme that they are pulling. Will never deal with these people again. read more
