I think it's time to change it and put a new one on. As I was sitting there trying to pry what I thought was my old screen protector off, my whole phone screen came peeling up, screen turned a rainbow of colors and stopped working! To my horror, I realized that I did not have a screen protector on and that I had just attempted to rip the actual screen off. I quickly panicked as one would do when ruining their iphone and quickly got in the car to head to the Apple Store at the Danbury Mall. I walked through the door thinking "oh my god, this is going to cost me $500 or possibly a new iphone. I can not afford this right now!" Walking in, I looked up and noticed that there was a Mobile Rescue store in front of me. My fiance suggested we go in and give it a try. I admit that I turned my nose up to the idea at first, but decided to give it a try. The second we walked in, a bright bubbly girl named Olivia welcomed us. I told her what had happened and said "oh no problem! We can have this fixed for you in 15 minutes!" I was shocked and did not know what to say. She said "Yes, we can fix this good as new and it will only cost you $80.00." I said yes, and left the store. We walked a couple laps around the mall, found this new furniture store which has actually been there for the past 5 years, ARHAUS,which I will write a separate review for, walked through there a couple times and headed back to Mobile Rescue. Tuzal, the tech was just finishing my phone repair when we walked in. My phone was better than it was to begin with! He then put an actual screen protector on my phone for free and we went on our merry way. That was such an amazing experience, and I recommend that if you damage your phone in any way, instead of paying an arm and a leg to Apple, to head on over to Mobile Rescue to see Olivia and Tuzal. I have no freaking clue and no valid reason not to use a repair center like this place. We're not sure if the screen he ordered was wrong for the phone, but we could see glue all along the edges, & upon taking off the case the side of the phone had a significant dent on it (pictured) that was not there prior to dropping the phone off. It was as if he had to smash the phone open in order to get the parts on/off. We freaked out when we discovered the damage and he said like a broken record "no that was there, no that was there". I ended up threatening to call the police and the guy eventually backed down, initially he was incredibly rude after we confronted him with how angry we were at the damage he caused. Such policy was never written, or stated, including....they were extremely rude when I approached to explain that the items did not fit the iPad. After about 15 mins of arguing my case and threatening to report them....I was finally given my cash back. This kiosk location is a HUGE SCAM - DO NOT PURCHASE ITEMS HERE!!!!!!
