Worst in-person customer service experience. The employees were hiding in the store with all the interior lights out with a handwritten message on the door stating "We don't know anything about the service outage." or words to that effect. Then, upon entering the store, the employess were IMMEDIATELY hostile. I asked the curly haired disrespectful male employee for my contract buyout to which he became personally offended that I'd want to cancel my contract. "May I please have my contract buyout? This outage is unacceptable for my business needs." That's all that was said, and in a normal tone of voice. This kid looks at me and states "I have the right to refuse service and I'm refusing you." This kid HAS NO PLACE in customer service and should be retrained or fired. He intentionally started a problem and argument where there was none. Then, the female manager wanted to question why I wanted to cancel during a "nationwide phone outage". A completely untrue statement. All other networks were performing as designed. AT&T was the only problem network at 11 a.m. She finally gave me my buyout, with anger and condescending language. These employees were PERSONALLY offended by my feelings on the network outage and potential cancelation of my contract. They whined about how they've been "getting yelled at all day". Well, maybe if they were properly trained in customer service they wouldn't get yelled at so much. Maybe if they had empathy and understood why people were upset, they wouldn't get yelled at so much. I have a $2,000 dollar phone and $150 dollar a month phone bill which were essentially turned into a worthless pile of crap for almost 7 hours today. Business calls, GPS, email and everything else completely unusable. The inability to even call a tow truck or ambulance is ridiculous. So, yeah. I wanted out of my contract. Now, after the experience in your store, I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere and will encourage everyone I meet to do the same. I'm not expecting the owner of the store or AT&T to do anything to rectfy this problem. I'm sure it's all on the customer, meaning myself. This will be reported to corporate and the BBB. read more

I switch from Sprint (Aug the 19th. 2019) because of the coverage that AT&T offer. While in the store with preparing to move 3 lines over, the rep. said that the activation frees would be waived. Six days later I got my bill and it showed that I was being charge $90.00 dollars for activating my 3 lines. I went back to the store and tried to get the fees taken off, and of course they would not do it. read more

I was disappointed tremendously in the customer service at this AT&T location. The gentleman, Richard, was quick to serve me, however, he was extremely demeaning and rude, despite the fact that I was coming to upgrade one of my phones. He not only announced very loudly, to the entire store that I was definitely ineligible for an upgrade because I've only made three payments on my current Next plan. Well sir, had you of paid attention to what I said, I was referring to my second line which is indeed eligible for an upgrade. While still attempting to let him know what I was trying to do, he again announced to the entire store that I would need to pay $500 to upgrade. It is absolutely unacceptable to speak so loudly in front of numerous customers about my payments and billing. After finally explaining to him that I would like my SECOND line upgraded, he got things figured out on his end and we were setting up my new iPhone 6. I then asked if AT&T was still doing the promotion that if you upgrade to an iPhone 6 you are eligible for a free tablet with a $10/mo data charge... He proceeded to tell me that I was "Eligible to go right on ahead and pay for it" Excuse me sir? I'm sorry that you aren't getting paid enough to be friendly and smile, but for the sake of my sanity and the repor of AT&T whom I have been with for YEARS, please find a new job that DOES NOT involve customer service because you are an absolute abhorrence and disgrace to the customer service industry. You made me feel so uncomfortable, as well as my husband who had to take our toddler outside to the car because you told us to "make sure he doesn't touch anything". By the end of it, I advised Richard that I was perfectly capable of setting up my new iPhone and installing the case, and to please just ring me up for my $70 purchase. Thank you, Richard, for tainting the otherwise outstanding relationship I have with AT&T. I certainly will not be coming back, and hope that you weren't paid commission for my sale. read more
