If I could rate this store as no stars I would. Adam is very rude and unprofessional and shows no respect to customers. No matter what, no one should be told to take their negative attitude and leave the store. A simple question was asked, he apparently did not like the tone of the question and the customer was kicked out of the store. Adam clearly has no idea how to deal with customers who have had an unsatisfactory interaction with him previously. Customers have a right to complain. Not to Adam apparently. Avoid this store and don't use AT&T services if you can avoid it. read more

I have had AT&T for more than 25 years. I walked into this store tonight and had the most unprofessional interaction with the manager whose last name is Booth. None of his employees were masked, which was fine as I was, however, his language was unprofessional and dismissive. His knowledge of his business is extremely limited and he provided no assistance to my inquiry. I had ordered a phone which was supposed to be delivered to my house. The email I received said it was going to be mailed to the store. When I asked him about this he told me that he never ordered my phone and that he would never order a phone to the store. I asked him to check it and see why I received the email and he refused and told me that he did not order a phone for me as he would remember me and he didn't remember me. I was a bit put off by this as I just paid 1300 dollars several days before to him. When I asked him to check my order and he told me to leave his store. It was as if he knew he screwed up. Another employee could see that this was wrong and came to help. So, I gave him my number and told him that I did not appreciate being dismissed like that. At that point, Mr. Booth called the police to have me removed from his store. Without a word being spoken to him, he called the police. The other employee was flabbergasted. I told them I was leaving and I did. I will not set foot in that store again and will switch my services elsewhere. I am a calm person but this guy's attitude was extremely frustrating. Called 4 stores (3 in Champaign) before I could reach a human. That person was not helpful. I am trying to search for services and get price quotes from different internet & phone providers and they repeatedly refuse to give any type of quote until you provide your social security number and let them run your credit. Why would a customer allow their credit to be repeatedly hit just to get a price quote? The Social Security Administration realizes that having our social security number as an ID is putting us at risk, and has decided to redo all the Medicare cards by assigning random ID numbers and removing the social security numbers. That is the one number that opens the doors to identity theft...and you expect us to provide that and allow hard credit hits to get a simple quote regarding your services!? That screams bad business practices and total apathy in dealing with your clientele. I will find another way or do without. read more
