Was not welcomed or said hi to when we first entered. That was a red flag. My youngest really wanted the new Valentine Converses, but her and I butted heads about it because she wanted to go up two sizes because her true size wasn't "comfortable"... then the next size up wasn't comfortable either. I reminded her that Converses are cool but they aren't exactly comfortable plus they take a while to break in. My youngest has done this before with shoes... tried a pair of new shoes on that I suspected was slightly too long and said they felt fine and then when she actually wore them for a day, they slipped and gave her sores. To clarify, both of my children currently have the same size feet, so I had the oldest also try the same pair on and give me her opinion of how they felt. While all of this was going on, the staff members acted very strangely around us. They were friendly, but suspicious. The taller & heavier-set lady followed me everywhere at first & watched me like a hawk. It was so uncomfortable. The staff didn't do anything to assist with the measuring of my daughter's foot, or ask her questions and remind her that breaking in shoes takes a while. Guess they didn't need any sales that day. Not many sizes available in the boots section for women. Store was grungy and had worn-out benches for trying on shoes. I was fine walking out with no purchase because of all of the above complaints, but especially the lack of customer service.

We've bought furniture from Ashley furniture with Seth in the past. The last time was for recliners…read morefor our 5th wheel. This time, we bought a recliner for our home away from home. Papa Scott had to sit in a number of chairs to get just the right one for watching TV. Seth, again was professional, friendly and let Scott try out any chair he wanted. I felt like he was Goldilocks in the Bear's house finding just the right one. Success. He now has his perfect recliner to watch TV and take naps.

They delivered to the wrong address and then I call ashleys and got, "we'll what do you want me to do about it?" That isn't good customer service off the bat! It got worse. I had to contact the third party for delivery which was even worse than before! Tom in artesia stated, "I did my job so I don't know what you want me to do. That's what was on the ticket that YOU put!" (Excuse me, I know our physical address and don't expect an attitude or to be blamed that it was my fault not once but twice by this guy!!!) Then I'm calling each place back and forth and then they pick up the bed and decide to reschedule it which sounded like an inconvenience to him due to the statements of, "I have MY own customers to take care of so I'm limited on time and decided to deliver for ashleys!" I was curious about the jeans, but tried on two extremely comfortable bras that I needed instead... Seamless simple strap & smooth simple strap bralette for $25.25. This is not including an extra $5 off my signing up for their rewards program a year ago. The shopping was enjoyable because a) the staff greeted us & checked on me more than once b) clean, organized store! c) super cute dressing rooms The associate, Anastasia, who checked me out was the least friendly employee. She wouldn't maintain eye contact and seemed disinterested in what others had to say even as it pertained to her job. Going through the motions ain't right, girl.
