I wish I could give this store a 0. The customer service is horrible. They are rude, and also lie to you trying to get you into new accounts. I thought it was probably the representative I had that day but it seems that is common practice in that store. This store should be closedown. read more

There is an employee who despite customers walking in, she continues to have a private conversation with a customer that had nothing to do with the business at hand. If it weren't for a young man Ruben who helped us when he was done with his customer, I would still be standing there! Ruben gets 5 stars! read more

This store is probably the worst store I have ever been to when it comes to customer service. The representative Jose was horrible!!!! It started out with him just not seeming interested in even helping. We wanted to upgrade 2 phones and possibly a third. We started the process and during that time my wife and I were talking about her phone being upgraded. Jose's girlfriend kept calling him while we sat there. As he was working on the 2nd phone he made the comment of "it's getting late". Shortly after I asked if they had a certain phone to which he said nope we sold out earlier "conveniently ". My wife walks outside to call the store and magically they have one in stock. Then to finish out the night he never set the phones up, put the screen protectors on and the best part is he screwed something up and 1 of the phones doesn't even work. Terrible customer service and aggressive up-selling at this location. Late last year I upgraded an iPhone 6 to a base level iPhone 8. Didn't want expanded memory which comes with price increase. I was told they didn't have the one I wanted but of course they had the one with increased memory in stock and a higher price tag. When I was ready to leave and go in search of the one I wanted at a different location the sales guy miraculously located what I originally asked for in the back. Nice try...I wasn't fooled!!! Most recent upgrade about a week ago from iPhone 8 to iPhone 11 wasn't much better. Wanted expanded memory on this one, so I was spared the up-sell runaround I had before. I explicitly told the sales rep that I did not want anything added to my bill except for the phone installment payments. I didn't want NextUp and I didn't want insurance. Of course he added both NextUp and Insurance to this phone which added several charges to my bill at an additional $20 per month. It took me two phone calls to AT&T, and almost an hour of my time to fix it all. I will no longer be patronizing this location. My next upgrade better be flawless at an alternate location or my next change will be a new carrier. read more

The staff is really friendly and helpful. I made several account changes when I was there, including switching to a business account, and it was a rather involved process, but it was easy enough for me, the staff took care of everything, I just had to patiently wait... It did take quite awhile. Unfortunately it seems they can only do so much in the store as far as account changes are concerned and the staff has to call their own version of customer service to make the major switches I was asking for. In the end I got a fantastic new iPhone, a gPad for $1 and actually reduced the monthly bill for our company! read more

I upgraded my phone at the Burlington store 2703 Mt Holly Rd, Burlington Township, NJ 08016 on December 13, 2019. I declined the directTV FREE service several times. Because the associate I was working with confirmed SEVERAL times over that the service was FREE OF CHARGE, she insisted I take advantage of it. I asked if I could use the service in my grandfather's home since I did not need it at my residence and they stated I could. A few months later I received a bill for a service I was told was for free. I called and complained with AT&T and explained what happened. I was told that the issue was handled. Fast forward to now, I have a hit on my credit report for $520 for missing a DirectTV payment! I am extremely disappointed with the lack of assistance I have been subjected to. I've called AT&T customer service several times about this issue and they will not do ANYTHING about it. I have been a dedicated AT&T customer for 8 years. I always pay my bill and never have any issues. If I owed money for a bill, then I would pay it. It makes NO SENSE to NOT pay for TV if I was paying for my phone bill. I've recommended people to AT&T which yielded you customers and yet, I now have to deal with this. I am extremely UPSET! read more

Their problem starts from being under staffed. One guy was a head of me. It's been 45 minutes waiting to be helped. Somehow one of the associates helps someone who came in after me. He had only been waiting for 20 minutes. Waiting is one thing, but when someone cuts in line, that is not okay. read more

Worse customer service ever. Loyal customer of this company since 2005. Went into the store to take advantage of the IPhone 8 BOGOF on June 13. June 15 returned since the phone was defective asked to switch the phone was told to go to the Apple store. Apple was booked for the next two days I returned to the store and meet with Greg he refused to swap the phone out. Accused me of not being able to pay the bill and kept me SIM cards for the two phones I returned. I did tell him he was about to catch these hands for being rude. Cancelled both lines and left without phones. Got into car and cancelled third line with customer service calling Greg immature well they hired him not I. Drove to another store in another town left with two IPhone X's . Keep in mind I'm here in Jersey on vacation and after Greg and Fred from store 541 of Mount Holly I can honestly say there's no place like home. read more

I only gave this one start because I had to. I have only dealt with this retailer once and that was today. I was previously over at Hamilton Marketplace AT&T retailer (which I have posted a review for as well), and basically they told this location to save a phone for me that I had already paid for. A few hours later after leaving the Hamilton store, I got a text saying that the Burlington store did not have the phone, that they sold it. I called over to the Burlington store (the one I am writing about here) and the woman presented HORRIFIC customer service (lack of) skills. She answered the phone "hello" not even addressing if I had the right business. I told her what happened and midway through me trying to explain the situation she said please hold. I was disconnected. I called again and luckily got the same person. I explained the situation (without the apology for her disconnecting me) and she said no one had called the Burlington store. I told her that I was in front of the person in Hamilton that called the store and stated that the Burlington store was reserving the phone for me. She replied "instead of going back and forth which gets us nowhere, what phone you want?" I responded the iPhone XR coral, 128gb. "She said nah we don't have that one." (Like she even checked). Bottom line, AT&T is going downhill quick. I ended up having to pay double which I am battling now with Apple and AT&T since I had to place a new order through Apple which is more expensive. read more

Ordered a new iphone and decided to pick it up at the store since I have to pass the store on my way home from work. What a mistake. It started with the attempts to up-sell me. When the rep greeted me, I made it crystal clear I just wanted to pick up my phone and get home. That's it. After 10+ minutes of the rep trying to haggle me, they finally went in the back to get my phone. After 15+ minutes the rep comes back with TWO phones. I asked what the second phone was for. "I think I have a solution for you" is what I was told. I reminded the rep I never had a problem, I just wanted my phone. The rep offered a second phone "for your wife" - I never told the rep I was even married or that I had a wife. I again explicitly said "I'm just here to pick up my phone." Again, another up-sell attempt, this time trying to change my plan when I made it clear, nothing was changing other than my phone. They had a new SIM card taped to my iphone box. I asked why it was there, I was told "I think it's in case there isn't one in the phone." I asked why there wouldn't be one in the phone since it's a no phone. "I don't know" what the response. On top of all this, I had to wait 5 minutes while the rep took a personal call right in front of me. A personal call with a customer standing in front of you. Either it's bad training on AT&T's part or I just got very unlucky. Either way, next time i upgrade my phone I'm just having it shipped to my house. read more

Scammers, crooks, sneaky, horrible. My husband went in to get our son's phone fixed. We had three phone lines. The salesman first lied and said it was a huge fix. The salesman convinced my husband that it was cheaper for us to renew our three phone plan to a family deal with four phones and we would get an new iPhone 11 free. He explained that having four phone lines made the plan cheaper. He believed him but told the guy not to even activate the fourth line. Our son would take the new phone and his broken phone would be a dead line. First issue: they gave our son the new number. My husband went bad to get it sorted out. The manager explained that my son's phone was an easy fix but we already took the new plan. As the months progressed we realized we were being overcharged. It was explained that the new phone was free with the promotion- but we were just paying extra "fees"over a length of time. The phone was "free" but the fees added up to paying double in fees adding up to essentially paying double for the phone. So now we need to pay over $450 extra this month to pay off a phone we didn't need so that one man made a commission. It would have been cheaper for us to just give the man a tip!!! They should have waived the fees for the deceit-fullness. DO NOT go her unless you are willing to give up a minimum of $20 a month in fees so one man can make a commission he doesn't deserve. read more

I went into the store to look at my options for an upgrade after I came from work. I know the store typically closes at 9:00 PM so I made sure to be there by 8:15. I signed in and was told to wait, which I was fine with. Another lady came in after me and also signed in. I proceeded to watch not only her but 2 OTHER ladies get helped as I waited. When I asked the manager if I would get seen, his response with, "it's up to you if you want to wait." I had already been waiting for almost an hour at this point and figured I should just continue since I already wasted so much time. However, I watched as customers began to leave and STILL no one came over to me to even ask what I wanted, what I was looking for. I've worked in retail/sales and its evident when the employees are stalling hoping that you'll leave instead of having to help you and that's exactly what was being done. It was around 9:15and this point and still nothing. Finally the manager came up to me and said, "So you looking for an iphone 8 or what?". I expressed to him that I wish I had been told that I would be a while for me to be seen and how i watch him help 2 other people instead of me, when my name was clearly on the list. He gave me a half-assed answer about sales vs. service and when i decided to leave he opened the door for me. It was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING that the most service I got was when someone decided to open a door for me to leave. I would not recommend this AT&T branch. It's also sad when your poor experience comes from management becuase above everyone else they should no better. Take your money elsewhere. read more
