I went in recently to buy a new phone, I had a Galaxy A11 picked out and had familiarized myself with the demo model by the time the sales person was free. He took a look at my white hair and straight faced told me I would "find it confusing to switch from IPhone to Android" and I should get another iPhone to "avoid a restocking fee." If he was worried about my tech savy he could have offered to show me how to use the phone instead of trying to prey on an "old" woman by attempting to scare her into a vastly more expensive purchase. read more

I just visited your store in Brunswick, GA. I had been there several times before it became a franchise location and always received good service. Now it is a franchise location. I was waited on by a young lady named Tijuana. I have never met such a rude person in all my life. I had noticed a "Help Wanted" sign in the parking lot. Apparently they are scraping the bottom of the barrel. I wish the owner of the franchise had listened in on our conversation, as he would have let her go on the spot! Beware. AT&T apparently gives out contracts and accounts to anyone who walks through the door even with terrible credit ratings and they couldn't care less if your elderly parent was defrauded by a con man who linked his account to your elderly parent who has dementia. I tried to explain all this to manager Frank and he showed me the door. I understand there are privacy issues but all I asked for were the last four digits of the account that a con man used to link to my parent's account. Wouldn't even give me that, even though I had a restraining order to prove I was telling the truth. Just want to warn everyone that this is how AT&T does business. They care about money and they don't care if it's fraudulent. read more

The Brunswick store is a joke! I went in purchase a new phone and there were 4 other customers in the store. The was only 1 salesperson, a lady with very tight clothing who evidently hadn't had time to comb her hair. She never got up out of her chair, but would call customers to her. The tables had trash on them and were filthy. There were no iPhone to look at and when asked about it she said the phones had all been stolen. I waited 45 minutes and walked out without hearing a word from her. read more

Well I thought I would give the AT&T store another chance. They weren't helpful the last two times I went in but it had been awhile so I was hoping for improvement. Wanted to buy a new phone so I made an appointment. I thought the middle of the week it would be quieter. Walked in at 11:28, appointment was for 11:30. There were two other people in the store both being helped. There were only two people working. I was checked in and watched several other people walk-in after me. I don't know if they needed training but they were both so slow. I waited 45 minutes for my appointment before I left. Don't think I will return. read more

Two of the male reps that I have come into contact with at this store have given me the impression that they are out to take advantage of women. Twice I have gone in this store knowing exactly what I wanted to purchase. Twice they have wasted my time trying to use their sales tactics and study my data plan trying get me to go with something else. I'm sure they don't do this with male customers. These reps can't seem to make decisions on their own as they go off several times whispering with other male reps and/or managers and then come back only to try to convince me to take another deal. During my most recent visit today when I didn't fall for the deal that the rep was trying to push on me, he came back with a $25 activation fee charge. um.... NO! I have been a customer with ALLTEL/ATT for 30 years! I'm not paying an activation fee. He never suggested I could use my old sim card. He was just trying to take advantage of a woman and make a sale. He failed. I purchased a phone elsewhere and am using my old sim card; therefore, this rep lost a sale not only for himself but lost $$ for ATT. BTW, I was also going to purchase a hot spot and add that to my data plan too but he lost that sale too. read more
