went to the store to order a new phone and ordered the s23u. It came in early and I picked it up gave them my trade in, got home, looked at my trade in receipt and had a question. The store does not answer their phone. Calls go through some call center in Texas so I was unable to get help since there was never a call back. I just hope the trade will be sent in. Then today, almost a week later, I received an email for ATT protection plan that is 18 bucks a month because I signed up for it. I did not sign up for it. I had to contact att through chat to get it taken off the bill. I never asked for it, it was never mentioned it or even discussed. It was no accident. I do not recommend using this att store and if you do, be sure to read all emails and check your bills closely. I am now hoping they do my trade in right. read more

Don't go here! They'll lie to you. They lied to my whole family to get us on a plan that was supposed to be a little more than a hundred dollars and when the actual bill came it was almost seven hundred. Everything they told us they waved they didn't and when we came to talk to them they didn't do anything for us and told us they could only wave a few things. They don't care if you have to pay a huge amount of money the next day. They're liars and will do anything to sell you a plan. read more

With my cell phone being a few years old and beginning to do some things it probably ought not to be doing, I have begun the process of looking to upgrade. I went to the AT&T store at Stage Road and Bartlett Boulevard on August 7th. As one knows who has been to such a store, customers have to get their name on a list and wait their turn for assistance. I went through this process and waited until the guy came to "help" me. I emphasize the word "help", because it was about the sorriest excuse of help that I ever had from anyone. I think it cannot even be called help. I'm not sure what it was. Having already researched the newer phones and compared them to what I am looking for, I told the guy what I wanted. We stood together and looked at it. He answered no questions about it, made no comments about it, had no interest in discussing it, and literally shrugged his shoulders at my comments and questions. Then, he did suggest yet another phone, so I followed him across the room to look at it. Yet, he did not discuss that phone, make any comments about it, answer any questions about it, and continued to shrug his shoulders. I moved about two feet away from that phone to an IPad which I also was interested in. In a very adamant and condescending tone, he told me that was not a phone. He apparently thought I must be too stupid to know the difference in a phone and an IPad. Again, I told him I needed to buy a new phone because mine was doing things it wasn't supposed to be doing. My phone does not do these things all of the time, but to even do these things just once is one time too many. Just because he did not observe my phone doing these things, he said it looked fine to him. When I walked through the doors of that store, having already researched the phone that I felt was best for my needs, and having already determined that I wanted to purchase a new phone, it should not have mattered to him whether anything was wrong with my phone or not. To the contrary, he should have been helpful to me in achieving what I went there to do. Although the store had the phone I was interested in, the guy's final comment about it was that I could just order it on line and then bring it in and they would set it up for me. WHAT ON EARTH KIND OF HELP IS THIS? EVEN MORE IMPORTANT, WHY ON EARTH IS THIS GUY WORKING THERE????? IS AT&T SO DESPERATE FOR HELP THAT THEY HAVE TO HIRE PEOPLE LIKE HIM???? During the time I was with this guy, I observed that he never looked at me. He never talked to me, but kept looking off into the distance when he did say something. As I was walking back toward the door to leave, I observed a couple sitting at a table, and the lady was waving to the guy who had been helping me and smiling at him. She and the man with her were obviously known to him. I realize then that he didn't care to help me, because he wanted to get away from me as quickly as possible in order to meet up with that couple. Sure enough, as I walked away, I saw him walk as fast as he could to the table where they sat. On my way out the door, I stopped and talked to a man who was taking care of the customer list. He had the title of "Manager" on his shirt. I related to him my experience with this sorry excuse of a helper guy who was assigned to work with me. I told that manager that the lack of help I was given was pathetic and, because of that guy, it completely diminished my entire impression of that store. The manager guy said he would talk to the guy, but I doubt that he does. It's too hard to find good help, and it's even difficult at times to find pathetic excuses of help. If I could give the store in Bartlett 0 stars I most definitely would. First I would like to say I worked for AT&T Mobility for seven years so I'm fully aware of the ability to keep grandfathered features. I'm also aware if a grandfather feature is removed you can't get it back. Each time a user on my account upgrades their device, the user tell the store agents not to make any feature changes. Even after being told, each time the store agents change my grandfathered $8.99 insurance to $17.99 without authorization . When I ask why the feature was change, the agents would say it had to change with the upgrade. During a phone upgrade the only thing that need to change is the phone IMEI and sim so a feature change is not required. Store agents are under pressure to make sales so they're always changing my $8.99 feature to $17.99 thinking that's an easy feature sale. That tactic work if the customer don't know they are able to keep grandfathered features. I can only imagine how many customers who don't know their options agents has did this to. I have nothing but problems when I deal with this particular store. I've even had an agent change my grandfathered family plan without my authorization during a user upgrade. I would not recommend the Bartlett store to anyone if you want to have a great customer experience. read more

I'm not one to ever write reviews. Especially a negative one. So take that for what it's worth. I went in about an extra charge on my bill that was not clear about what it was for. Was greeted right away but it went downhill from there. After a long & somewhat confusing explanation he went on to tell me that I could save money if I changed plans. I greatly appreciated that! But then that's where he stopped being helpful. He proceeded to tell me to download the ATT&T app & just do it.... that he couldn't do it for me. I find this hard to believe bc when you go in to buy a new phone they do it for you step by step. But not for when it might save you money. I asked if I could stay & take a seat in case I might need his help. He kinda of laughed & said sure. Finally, a new guy asks if he can help & it's done in less than 2 minutes. I got both their names & called to tell the manager. To praise one & to share the other might need more customer service training. But I was put on hold for over 25 minutes. I live here in Bartlett but might go to another location from now on. read more

DISAPPOINTED! As a new customer I was told my installation fee would be waived. "just bring you first bill in and we will take care of it" I was told. Three times I went to the store and was assured the installation fee was waived. I paid the bill minus the $99 fee. My account goes into collection for the $99 and I am told by the manager and my sales rep " there is nothing I can do but pay it". I was told once paid they would then give me a credit BUT I was also told three times before it was taken care of so, hmmm why would I take heart in that? When asked if I could have it writing I was told no and then was hung up on. I made one phone call to corporate and it was taken care of in 5 min. read more

I went to just pick up a new phone I ordered online and they refused to give it to me because they had the wrong last name. I told them my last name was changed years ago and offered to show proof on my phone but they still refused. I left very upset and wanting to cancel the order so I can go to another store for better service. I called ATT and was told they should have looked up my account to see I was telling the truth. The nice rep on the phone called the store to tell them to release my phone and convenience me to return. She also corrected the name mixup in the system. I returned to store to have them make me wait again and see the wrong name still on screen. I was ignored a few times then after asking I told I'm next but I wasn't. I talked to the manager and she responded without a care to the fact this is my 2nd time coming back. She told me I would be next. I waited some more then walked out. This store sucks with customer service and after today I will never return. Their process is sorry to say the least. Workers standing around and no one to help on simple tasks that don't require setup or phone purchase. Next time I'll just go to Apple they know how to treat their loyal customers. read more

We walked in the store and were asked, "What can we help you with?" We said "We want to purchase a new phone" He said "someone will be with you in a little while, there are 4 in front of you" So we walked over to the iphone6 and stood by it, played with it, even set the alarm off on it. They had to come over and use a special key, to turn it off. We stood around and finally sit down, after 20-30 minutes. At closing time, we were finally called, it was our turn:)) When we told the girl that we wanted to buy an iphone6, she replied with " Oh, we're out of those and will not have any for 3-4 days. We spent a good part of our night up there and they never cared to let us know that they were out of the phone, that we were obviously standing around ~ all evening!! They were so unprofessional!
