He lost most of his hearing in combat in Vietnam so he speaks loudly- they refused to help, accused him of raising his voice and escorted him out. This is a horrible way to treat an elderly veteran... it's a horrible way to treat anyone.

They say got to go UbreakIfix. Wtf! Why do I want to deal with a third party. I can do that myself. As I did before I got insurance. It should b easier don't cha think but no it's complicated. Especially when we call the nearest one which is at Lorna Road and they say Verizon told us wrong and gave us a number to some other place. It's a dang run around. What they don't tell you is if you want a phone replaced you might get a refurbished one. Again WTH! Why do I want a refurbished phone ? So back to the battery replacement we called the number and it gives you no option for a battery replacement /no real person will answer. Oh if U did file a claim and go through that hoopla You probably will get a refurbished phone (who the He double hockey sticks wants that) Verizon scams people . It's a scam company . I hate giving them my business to b quite honest. If at all possible go elsewhere for your phone needs. This place sucks. The service is atrocious! They are not a honest company to deal with and they lie continuously!!! We have caught them in too many to count.

I bet a whole lot of people have been pissed off by this when they get here. This location no longer exists as a Batteries Plus.

Would never recommend this store because the front line people apparently are not authorized by the franchisee to solve the customer's problems. I went to my local Batteries Plus store in Trussville, and they tested and confirmed a replacement under warranty was necessary. Fortunately, they noted the full replacement guarantee was still in effect. They even called a store in another state where I originally bought it to confirm the receipt and printed me a copy. But they didn't have the correct battery and three weeks later was the soonest they could get it in. Pushing the date on the warranty, but the salesman said he'd be sure it was covered. My wife's leaving town tomorrow for a visit to friends and taking my car. So I phone around several other stores, and the store at Alabaster was recommended as a possibility. Sure enough, they had two of the right batteries in stock. I mentioned the warranty replacement, and a sales person said they would have to call the Trussville store to confirm the testing diagnosis. I said fine and I'd be on my way. She said nothing about any other requirement to getting my on the road with the right new battery. Drove a round-trip of 62 miles to her store in Alabaster for nothing. Yes, they had the batteries, and the guy on duty said he'd gotten a note that I was coming, and the kind of battery I'd be needing. They had it. He called the guys at the Trussville store. They confirmed the battery was both covered by the warranty and definitely in need of replacement. They told him they did this with the battery in the car, and on the spot authorized the warranty coverage and replacement. The Alabaster sales rep however was not having it. He returned with the news that I'd be required to leave the battery with them in Alabaster overnight and they'd test it again in the morning. "It has to be fully charged the night before..." he said "I did that last night, with a brand-new charger." I replied "Well, to honor the warranty, we have to do it this way." he retorted. "Then how am I supposed to get home tonight?" I asked. "That's just our policy" he said. "You should have told me that before I came." I answered. "If I'd known that I could have brought it in my other car. You're following procedures is fine. But your sales lady never mentioned this requirement." "Sorry for the communication problem." was his reply. "I want to speak with your supervisor." I said "She's not here, she left (this was the original person I spoke with BTW)." "Then give me the name of the [franchise] owner. I'd like to speak with him." "We don't have his number." he said. And so on. Would never recommend this store because the front line people apparently are not authorized by the franchisee to solve the customer's problems. Yes, the store guy there did apologize for "...the communication problem." But offered no other solution. Finally, I called the Batteries Plus National Customer Service number. The rep there listened to my story, apologized, and said she'd look into getting the correct battery to the Trussville store ASAP. We'll see if that happens.
