If i could give it a negative star I would, they are terrible customer service. I cut off my service on Jan 16 and have called at least 6 time to get them to stop billing for the cable service. I am still getting bills and now they are threating to cut off my internet if I don't pay the bill for service I have not had for over a month. Also, good luck talking to someone who speaks english. I am so displeased with U-verse I can't even type. I have had a no signal for a week. I was told that it was an outside issue and that the tech did NOT need to come inside. He called and asked me if my internet is working. I said I did not know as I was not home. He asked me what the problem is and I asked if he did not have the work order that took 1 hour of my life to describe previously. He said the office people are stupid, not local and do NOT communicate with them. They now say its inside and I have to wait until TUESDAY and I can't get credit because tech came and I wouldn't let him in. I was not home because I was told it was an outside service issue. Lies. I will have my equipment waiting for them when they arrive because this is extremely poor customer service. AT&T you just lost a customer over $11. Smart business decision. read more

Many choices when it comes to Internet service in Pensacola. ATT is reliable in Internet service but not customer service. Once your intro price is over you are no longer important and now pay twice as much. Reviewed options from paying $49 a month for 45mb speed promotion to $89 for the same. Asked what was available and right away tried to get me to bundle for $117 a month. As a customer on auto pay ATT knows what I use and not interested in bundles. Finally the rep from Saginaw Michigan gave options of Internet only of 100mb for $70 th as the would require a new router and instillation included. Sound fair till I search the Web and found the same offer for $60. Called ATT regarding the difference and this time yelled at that price is for new customers only, you already had your promotional price. Now looking for a better service provder that treats all customers especially those that have been with ATT over 4 years. read more

My internet is absolutely awful. I was having problems with my computer, and the company informed me that AT&T is the worst internet of all the companies nation wide. I absolutely agree. I had a scheduled appointment from 1-4pm for a representative to come out to my residence. NO ONE CAME AND NO ONE CALLED. I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. When I called, the rep said "Well technically, he can come anytime before 8 pm. I screamed at her. I am filing a complaint with AT&T and cancelling my service. read more

I scheduled my wifi to be installed yesterday, after over an hour on the phone. They kept giving me a date for installation that won't work for me at all. I finally talked to someone yesterday that assured me he had expedited the order, and it would be done today by 4pm. They never showed up. I called, and they told me it was scheduled for the day that doesn't work. I have told at least 6 of their customer service reps that day doesn't work, and I have had to repeat it to them at least 4 or 5 times. They LIED to me yesterday by telling me it would be hooked up today. The least they could do is make up for it getting it done tomorrow. This is one of the WORST cases of customer service that I've ever experienced. Even when I request to talk to a supervisor, they won't let me. If I'm paying for the service, they should be more accommodating, and NOT LIE!!!!! Basically, they have said it's either the day they say, or nothing. AT&T U-verse should be an excellent product due to fiber optic connection, however, I experience buffering from 5pm to 9pm every day on the DirecTV Now App over AT&T U-verse connection. This means that every major sporting event, first run movie or TV show is not available to me. AT&T U-verse and especially DirecTV Now is not worth the cost. read more

We want to share an unacceptable, unavoidable experience with AT&T Uverse/direct TV. We pay our monthly bill electronically using the AT&T web site. Since contract inception they have received our payment on due date. Last month, we apparently recorded on checking account (or routing number incorrectly) resulting in return payment. The bank does return payments for reasons other than NSF. Instead of reviewing the reason for the return, checking our account history and pulling our excellent credit report, the masterminds sent us a letter. We are totally paperless and use the electronic payment capability. One would logically think they would send an email and/or text for an immediate response/explanation. To make matters worse, we were on vacation the entire week and while we had access to email, we obviously did not have access to the USPS. Moreover, we received our monthly email bill on 07/13/2016 that showed we were one month in arrears. No warnings; just that two months were due on 07/28/2016. We arrive home on 07/16 to discover our services were interrupted; in other words, no TV/internet/land line. In our pile of mail was a letter from the credit/collection department intellectuals advising that if payment not received by 07/13 our services would be interrupted. We immediately called and not only paid the prior month but paid the upcoming 07/28/2016 payment (no offer to waive the $7 late fee). The account person told us it would be 5 minutes to 4 hours before restoration of our services. We did not understand the wide gap but accepted her comment. After three + hours we called and a new representative said it would be at least 24 hours. We called the next day - and you guessed it - we were told only the credit department had to authorize and they are closed on the weekend. So: Each representative contradicted the previous representative. We talked with their social media people, who were empathic but really have no authority. Our service was finally restored today at about 10:30 EDT. Customer service is an oxymoron at AT&T. There are no departmental connections and they seem to be very disjointed. We will be deducting from our next bill loss of service and we are considering this episode to be a breach of contract on their part. Never thought I would rue the day we terminated Time Warner. When is Google going to complete the Charlotte installation? We assigned one star because there no option to assign a negative star. read more

Horrible customer service, worst I have ever experienced. Their reps continuously lie to their customers, and I am speaking from my personal experience and many others I have heard. I called to cancel cable and keep internet, which would be $60.00. Rep advised if I keep basic cable and internet it would only be $50.00, so I happily agreed to that. I never received my confirmation email, so looked online the next day to double check everything and my plan was showing $70.00. I did their online chat and told them the price I was told and agreed to, and he said the lowest price they could do was $60. Then they had a supervisor call me saying the phone call would be listened to and I would get what I was informed, which again was $50. Supervisor called me and did nothing but transfer me to another person who said they would have to submit a request to have the call listened to, but even if I was told $50.00, they still could not do that. I have been with them for 5 years and never paid a bill late, and this same thing has happened to me literally every single time I have made any account changes with them. And every one I know who has them, has said the same exact thing happens to them, that they are always being over charged and lied to. That phone call has yet to be listened to and a supervisor has still not called me back about it, and I have still not received the confirmation email that I have requested from 5 different att reps. read more

at&t uverse has the worst customer service! they cannot get their billing straight and when you have it disconnected they continue to bill you. i had to call twice to get them to send me a return pkg for the equipment. i had no uverse service and they continued to bill me! they get away with this because they are a big company. they also destroyed the wiring i had from another cable company and refused to have it reinstalled. they are rude and just do not care about their customers! they do not deserve to be in business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I have had the worst experience with U-verse over the last year. They neglected to ground my system and it was hit by lightening. I lost a desk top computer and new flat screen TV. They only wanted to pay market value... not even cover the cost of the repairs to the computer! I had to hire an electrician to ground the system; then it was hit by lightening again! It had been 20 years since my house was last hit by lightening. In addition, they had to send out technicians to completely replace the system a total of four times. I was told that the first equipment they put in was out-dated when it was installed. After the system was first hit by lightening, the equipment that was installed was prone to freezing up. That was the fourth time the system was replaced. Since the second lightening strike, the new system is working well, but I am just waiting to be hit by lightening again, and my one year promotion is up and there are "no promotionals available" to me at this time.... I finally talked to a supervisor who gave me a better deal, but it is still more than I want to pay and I would have to pay $180 if I break the "contract". I told them that if I am hit by lightening again, I would have to leave them and I did not want to have to pay a fine because, although I am not an electrician, I believe that their system is actually making my house a lightening rod.
