Bettermost offered the most competitive price, along with several helpful suggestions for improving the space, so we chose them for the project. The estimated timeline was five to six weeks. The team worked efficiently, and Paul kept us updated throughout the process. All the workers were top-notch, and we were impressed with the quality of their work. Our renovation included new floor and shower tiles, a freestanding tub with a floor-mounted faucet, a new vanity and cabinetry, new mirrors, and updated vanity lighting. They also installed stronger clothing support bars in our master closet. We are very happy with our finished bathroom and look forward to working with Bettermost again when we're ready to remodel our kitchen. We highly recommend them!

When we contacted Paul and Gustavo to help us with a new vanity for our master bathroom, it quickly became a behemoth project of multiple bathrooms and then progressed to 1500 sq ft of new floors and baseboards. They are efficient, kind, thoughtful, collaborative, and provide outstanding work on any level. What makes them kings among men is their dedication to going above and beyond for their customers. Their crews are always top notch - from tile, to painting, to floors. We are so thankful they helped us take a suburban cookie cutter home and turn it into a unique, beautiful haven for our family. We will use them for any projects we have for our house.

The owner showed up Sunday without my permission and wouldn't not leave. He was ringing my doorbell non stop until I answered. He was asking me numerous times to remove the review. Oddly enough today, I am getting a bunch of random calls and texts about a home remodel. I suspect the owner is putting my phone number on several websites to spam me with calls and texts. I will be calling the police to discuss my options and contacting Yelp directly. The estimator never showed up and called me last second to reschedule. I drove from work to meet them and was a no show. My time is valuable too. I work Monday through Friday and have to take time off for estimates or projects.

Homelux Design and Build exceeded our expectations in every way. Our home was built in 1989 and…read moreeverything was original so we knew there was going to be a lot of work involved to remodel the master bathroom. To be honest, we were initially anxious going in because we wanted to remove our tub and a large window and add a double shower. I knew a lot of plumbing was going to have to move so we were nervous about the work being done properly and the cost. Simone and his crew were very professional and did an amazing job for a fair price compared to other quotes that we received. We received upwards of 15-20 quotes. Being new to Frisco we wanted to make sure we were doing our due diligence to find a great contractor that we would hopefully use for future jobs as well. The tile, glass, cabinets, countertops, shower window, flooring and fixtures were installed with incredible detail. Our master bath is now my favorite part of our home. We are so happy with the result and would recommend them to anyone!

I never got a solid plan, they hard-sold me high, promising we would reduce it, just to make me sign the contract. (my first mistake) Of course, those meetings to discuss my priorities and reduce the budget, never came. My dream wasn't realized as they either vetoed, forgot or bumbled each feature of my design. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with. I don't have the energy to upload pics but maybe later. Just trust me; pick someone else. Signed, Exhausted, Angry and Broke

The project took 4 1/2 weeks from the day they started the kitchen demo. Note in the before photos that we had fur downs & square recessed lights both of which they removed giving us taller upper cabinets & adjustable brightness LED canned lights. We also had them replaced the square lights in our living room & swap the floodlights in our family room's canned lights for the same adjustable LEDs. The general contractor did a really great job of managing the project & has several great subs that he has worked with long term (cabinets, countertops, & tile/backsplash) for work that his own staff doesn't focus on (1/2 of whom are his family). Very high quality work with an attention to detail including bringing any issues to our attention so that they can be addressed (e.g., leaking faucet in the laundry room). Very reasonable pricing & they were agreeable to us adding on extra things like replacing the switches & outlets outside of the kitchen area with the same square modern ones that were put in our "new" kitchen. We are also having them paint the paneling in our family room as a separate project that they will do this week. We will absolutely call them first for any future projects.
