This company 'fixed' my mother's roof recently. They sent an unqualified team and no one inspected…read moretheir work afterwards. The final price was over twice the initial quote. The roof leaks badly and has caused a lot of water damage inside the property. The owner does not want to talk about a solution so we will have to wait until a judge sees the independently gathered evidence. If anyone else is in a similar situation do please contact. Ron's team handled the venting of our crawl space after a water break, the insulation, vapor barrier and all new floors in three bedrooms and the living/dining/kitchen area. The work was beautiful, beyond timely and nicely done with seamless floor transitions from room to room and beautiful trim work. Today (Palm Sunday) we had a leak in the part of the roof Mike hadn't originally installed. I gingerly texted Mike to ask his advice. What I got back was well more than anything I could have expected. Mike called to tell me his supervisor, Travis, was already en route to our house. I then got a call from Travis saying he was twenty minutes out. 18 minutes later, he was at the door. He reviewed the leak inside, got his ladder and climbed up the roof and within ten minutes, was back down and showing me pictures of where he'd determined a dryer vent had let water in. Mike called me back to tell me he had a team he could send. Now. I told him it's Palm Sunday, I don't want to take your guys away from their families. Mike said, they are busy all week, this is my best chance to get this fixed. It won't take more than four hours. I agreed and within an hour, there they were at the door, ready to go. They cleared the tile, laid proper under layers - three layers in total. Then buttoned it all up again and were done within two and a half hours. I got a full set of pictures from Mike explaining every step of what was done. All this would be great on a weekday. But a Sunday? Palm Sunday? I am just in awe. From a customer perspective, it's like having a choice of hiring superheros like Mike and his team, or saying no thank you - I prefer the usual sheisters and snake oil salesmen that typically make up the roofing business. You can spin the wheel and take your chances - but for me - I just feel damn lucky to have found someone who provides this level of service and this quality of work all for a really modest price.

I usually don't take the time to write reviews because ... life. I am going to write one for…read moreSunshine roofing because getting a roof is costly and choosing a company is a big decision. If you don't want to read all the details, and just want to know whether or not I recommend, then the short and sweet is that I honestly cannot recommend them enough. I had nothing but positive experience and interactions with everyone involved with Sunshine from start to finish. The details. For one, let me start by saying I have no affiliation with them whatsoever. I don't know anyone , I have no vested interest .... nothing. I first contacted them in spring 2022 for a tile roof replacement estimate which they gave. We chose not proceed with the project at the time. A full year later, in April 2023 we were ready to proceed and I contacted them and asked for an updated estimate. We set up a time for them to come but before that happened I got an email with the estimate. I called was told that they didn't need to come out. They had it on file from 2022. I looked back in my house paperwork and it was the SAME estimate. Seriously! Every single thing I buy costs more than it did a year ago. People are getting canceled for HOI left and right and roofers are raking in the bucks but Sunshine roofing kept the same estimate. Still, we delayed a little and finally signed a contract June 26 . Due to industry-wide supply chain issues with roofing materials , the estimated installation was to be Oct at earliest but likely January 2024. On Aug 30, we decided to change our tile style from the one originally selected. I contacted Jessica and was told, "no problem". There would likely be a further lag time for tile but no change in $$$ amount. At the beginning of Oct, Jessica called and said our tile was in early!. She followed up with an email giving the schedule for the tear out and installation which would take 2 weeks start to finish. Every single step was explained and coordinated to eliminate unnecessary delays and work commenced on time. The tear out was quick. The tile was delivered and loaded onto my roof same day ( in two separate deliveries). Mind you, my neighbor down the block had tile sitting and taking up half of his driveway for two weeks before our roof was started. Every single day, when the roofers left my house, everything was cleaned up. No construction materials or debris lying around. I didn't find one nail ( I've lost 3 tires for neighbors roofers). Everyone was respectful of my property. Every single person on my property was polite. Every single concern I had was addressed. Work was finished on time ( my neighbor still had tile in his driveway) and the roof looks great! When they were finishing up, my neighbor brought to my attention that one of the trucks delivering tiles dinged his mailbox making it difficult to close it. ( These tiles require huge trucks with heavy loads. It was understandable ) . I contacted Jessica and she took it from there. She contacted the mailbox company my HOA uses and got a new one ordered the same day. No debating... just took care of it. So, 100%, I recommend them. I was dreading this whole process but they made it painless. Any time we had questions, they were always promptly and politely answered with explanations given in full. Any time I called the office, the phone was answered. I would recommend them to my mom, my bestie, my neighbors, anyone.
