Called for an appointment to have a house rekeyed, they showed up same day and it was done within an hour. Fair price, quick response

I got in trouble with my elderly parents for destroying their screen door when they locked me out of the house by accident. It's one of those things where they didn't stop to think. So, yeah, eye for an eye. My parents were pissed, threw a copy of their screen door key at me and told me to go get a copy within 24 hours before I leave to go home. I'm not familiar with the area so I tried Home Depot, Lowe's and Walmart to no avail. I thought I'd have to pay a locksmith $$$ to get a copy of one stupid key. I ended up here out of desperation. It took less than five minutes and only cost $2 to get a copy of the screen door key. read more

Small mom 'n' pop store. They make good quality copies of keys, and "Do not duplicate" keys. Wal-mart always has their key machine broken probably so they don't have to offer the service, and I've had several keys copied at Lowe's that did not work in the actual lock. Support small businesses and they'll support you! read more

Initially, I called American Local Locksmiths and they led me to believe that they could come out the same day to change the lock on my front door. A couple of hours later they let me know that a locksmith would not be available until May 8th, 18 days later (if you can believe it)? At this point it was after 5pm so I found Associates Lock & Safe on the web. Rick Ramirez came out within a few minutes of my call and promptly changed the lock on my front door for a very reasonable rate. I am VERY happy with Rick from Associates Lock & Safe Service Thank you, thank you, thank you! Mary read more
