Had to deal with him in regards to taxes and very disappointed to say the least. I started with a call to his staff in Lompoc with the third degree interrogation as to why I was calling. Finally I said just let me leave a message. Almost impossible. When I finally did hear back all he could say was how he had been in the business for 33 years therefore he must be right. When asked to explain so I could better understand all he was concerned was whether he was getting paid or not?? There are so many folks on the Central Coast I would never go here again. For the record his son Adam works in Santa Maria and carries the same rude arrogance. Save your money and invest elsewhere.

It's shocking and difficult to have to share this in our small, tight-knit Santa Ynez Valley community, but I believe it's important to know what to expect from the accounting services of Suzanne May Jakkola. After numerous unanswered emails and calls about my personal taxes and my mom's personal taxes, I received this statement from Suzanne. Personally, I was shocked to receive an email that oozes such disregard for the principals of caring for the client. "I apologize if my stated intentions don't always reflect when I actually get to what I was hoping and planning on doing. It's just the nature of my business. My priorities get redirected often but never on purpose or with intentional disregard." Don't make the same mistake I did. I've attached my email response to Suzanne which sheds more light.
