Nearly a year after my appointment, I received a statement from them because "they didn't receive payment from my insurer." I immediately knew something was wrong since I only received a routine dental cleaning with X-rays. I worked with my insurance and figured out that they did not submit a claim to the correct insurance since there were no claims on my file. I had to re-send the office my correct insurance information so they could re-file, but at this point, it was way over the 1 year filing limit, so my insurance denied the claim.
