Absolutely abhorrent, do not recommend. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and they put it in incorrectly. So, I got a call that I missed it, but it wasn't supposed to be until the following day. They felt bad, and rescheduled for 8/17/26 at 3:45pm. They called me 4 times Friday but I was out of town for a sudden death in my family. The calls began at 1:21pm. I had to travel to/from Texas. I was on a plane, in airports, and dealing with a death. I was unable to call them back by 4:30pm, so they scheduled over her appointment with someone who they said was an emergency. I had 3 hours and 9 minutes to call them back to confirm an appointment I spoke to them about a week or so ago. I was on an airplane during this time. I was unable to talk to them by 4:30pm. I called back today as soon as they opened, this is how I found out they took her appointment. They offered me a new "consultation appointment". Why would I pay for a second consultation? Your scheduling department is horrible. They messed us up twice, and now want me to pay extra and my daughter is in need of a root canal. We have been waiting several weeks for this already. Don't schedule here they are an absolute disaster! Doctors offices should be trustworthy, empathetic toward your need for care, and so on. This office is horrible. Let's just say after a retreated root canal, I ended up with an abscess and cellulitis! They had little concern when I went back, twice I might add, with severe pain and swelling. The girl who was the dentist I saw never even looked in my mouth and told me let's revisit this in 4 weeks! I was told by the ER physician that it was a good thing I came to the ER because most likely this severe infection, that had now traveled into my bone and neck would have most likely caused sepsis! Steer clear of this place! Unless you like infection, pain and a dentist that sees people as nothing more than part of the assembly line at that place!!! read more

Had a root canal done here. Been in pain on and off ever since and found out it needs extracted because it's fractured. I suspect this happened during the root canal based off what I observed while I was being worked on. I heard a crack during the procedure and assumed my bridge fell out. The doctor and assistant paused and looked at each other. I noticed my bridge was still intact so I wasn't sure what to think. But now I know. The doctor also kept walking away in the middle of the procedure to go back and talk to another patient. Not just for a minute... for a long time. I sat there with my mouth open forever because I could not close it!!!!! Unprofessional! When I went back for my pain, I kept getting prescribed antibiotics. One I couldn't take with one of my meds, and one he mentioned putting me on but the assistant warned him that I'm allergic to it. Whenever I had questions, he had no clear answers. Everything was "probably". He couldn't tell me what was wrong. Also want to add that when I kept going back for the pain, he told me two surrounding teeth needed root canals because he didn't see anything wrong in the xray with the tooth I said was hurting. I got a second opinion and was asked why he even considered more root canals because there was absolutely nothing wrong with those teeth. The tooth in pain was the one he already did a root canal to, he insisted I was incorrect and needed more root canals. So glad I did not listen. I would have wasted even more money. Now I am losing a tooth AND my bridge! A waste of money with the root canal and my bridge. I am so disappointed I haven't stopped crying from the pain and from the idea of having two noticeable missing teeth when I smile/talk. This has been a nightmare. **update: just had the tooth pulled. Not only was it fractured, it was also infected at the root. This whole experience made me terrified to trust anyone with my mouth ever again! And I already had issues with a previous oral surgeon with a tooth extraction, so this was the icing on the cake. I have a new fear of getting dental work done and now severe trust issues. I am writing this review to help the future patients of Dr. Korch. My 84 yr. mom went to him for a root canal. (this was her second time - the first time they sent her home with antibiotics she was allergic to - thank God my mom recognized it and called them). She has heart issues. She was sent home with NO antibiotics this time. She called the office a couple times because of excruciating pain. The front staff kept telling her to wait and take Tylenol and Motrin. My mom was taking it around the clock. Sadly, my mom became septic, she was going into renal failure, and almost died. She went into congestive heart failure but, thank God made it through. She was in the hospital for a week due to the sepsis. My sister spoke to Dr. Korch and he never knew my mom was in pain because his front desk employee never told him. We never heard back from Dr. Korch (even though he said he would call us back). The type of bacteria that grew was due from (most commonly) dental work. Either he used dirty instruments or some kind of bacteria got into the area. Dr. Korch and his staff should be ashamed of themselves and I recommend anyone considering this office to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! read more

I saw Dr. Korch and he did a root canal on the tooth next to my infected tooth. Now over $6,000.00 spent I lost the tooth he did not do which was holding on a bridge and lost the bridge of course. No remorse on his part. I would never let him touch my teeth again read more

I saw Dr. Korsch here for an emergency root canal. My dentist had referred me after he said I needed to see more of a specialist. Dr. K was amazing, as well as his assistant, who I believe was named Felicia. I have severe anxeity after a horrible dental experience, and they were able to clean out my tooth and keep me completely numb and calm the whole time. I saw a first dentist who simply took out my wisdoms and missed the entire infection in my back tooth, and I was in some of the worst pain in my life. My root canal immediately provided relief and it was done quickly and skillfully. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Korsch for a root canal, and other procedures. He is very kind, understanding, and patient. His work has provided me with relief that I can't even describe. read more

I am not one to write a review but felt it was warranted in this case. I was referred to Pittsburgh Endodontics by my dentist for an evaluation of my front tooth to see if I was a candidate for apicoectomy. I had sustained damage to that tooth as a child. It had been treated with a root canal and then re-treated. I was seen by a dentist in April due to an abscess that developed and was seen for a cleaning in may by my regular dentist. Both dentists suspected a possible crack in my root and mobility of the tooth. When I went to the endodontist, he also indicated swelling around the root and mobility. I also believe he suspected a crack as well, I'm not 100% sure on that. I had X-rays done and a CT scan. This was on 6/16. I was told the oral surgeon is not in the office on Thursdays and he will review my films on Friday. I was told I will hear back the next day or Monday, at the latest. I didn't hear anything and called a week after my appointment. I was told the surgeon is on vacation and the office will call the next week. They did not. I admit I delayed calling the office because the lady who answers the phone is less than friendly and seems annoyed that she has to do her job. I finally called back 3-4 weeks later. The office staff looked up my record and said she will need to talk with the doctor as there are no notes. The doctors clearly did not review my referral form OR my scans until I called back AGAIN. She did call back the same day. She asked if I was still having pain (I was not and I was not experiencing pain when I had my appointment) or if I still hardness to my gum around the tooth (I didn't even know I had hardness as I am not a dentist). The recommendation: well, give us a call if you have pain. Ummm...thanks??? That is not even why I was referred! I was irritated and would have given this zero stars if I could. On the bright side, the dental assistant who did 99.9% of the exam was exceptional. I would rate her 5 stars. If you are referred here, please ask me f there is another practice you could go to. And of course I just received the bill. Perhaps I shall wait to pay it until they are forced to call me twice to follow up. read more
