Dr. John and Dr. Shanna are top notch! I have gone off and on for Chiropractic care throughout my life and they are the MOST attentive, kind, positive and supportive environment. Their holistic medicine approach helped me with a heart palpitation problem I had been having which could be solved with an adjustment in my diet and supplements. I am not a big fan of doctors, hospitals, waiting rooms, or medical services in general. Well after a recent hip injury I reluctantly let my mom talk me into going to her chiropractor to get it checked. My experience there so far has been amazing. First visit I had to fill out the unavoidable paper work but once that was done there was almost no waiting around for the doctor to be ready. After this appointment I even got a checkup call later that day to see how I was feeling after an "adjustment" had been made during the appointment. Since the first visit, the experience has been delightfully consistent. No waiting, everyone is exceptionally nice and helpful, and I don't feel out of the loop on my medical condition. I can't say it's changed my opinion of medical services in general, but I will certainly not dread any time I have to go back to Associated Chiropractic! read more

I have been going to this office for about two months. A very warm caring atmosphere, where every one treats you like a best friend. Highly recommend. I have been to others, this is the only Chiropractor I will ever use. read more

I have been a patient here for years and Dr Ogle and Allen were two of the nicest people and did a great job taking care of me over the years. This week my neck pain returned and I am laid off without insurance. I called to get a visit and the uncaring lady on the phone said I had to be a new patient pay 100.00. This is terrible since they have my records there and it is the same thing I am always treated for. The cold uncaring way to do business is not acceptable in my book and just letting someone be in pain is also just not acceptable. read more

Established in 1978.

Associated Chiropractic is built on the combined efforts, dreams and energy of Doctors John and Shanna Paciorek. After studying at New York Chiropractic College together and interning out-of-state, the Pacioreks were anxious to return to Ohio to be close to family. And, more importantly, to share their own interests in a healthy, holistic approach to active living as part of a professional chiropractic practice. Associated Chiropractic is conveniently located in Springfield to serve the Clark county community. However, patients travel from throughout Ohio and all neighboring states to seek out Doctors Paciorek. They were able to get me in a couple of weeks. I didn't have to wait long. There is a $25.00 fee for new patients (non refundable) which I understand incase of no shows. I walked in and stood at the desk for a good ten seconds before the staff greeted me. I could hear them chit chatting about something that was clearly not a work conversation. The nurse called me back and she must have been having a bad day. She seemed really disgruntled and annoyed. I told her what I was there for - I'd mentioned two concerns when I set the appointment, but a couple more things had come up since setting the appointment about a month prior. The doctor came in and immediately told me she'd only treat me for two of my concerns today and I'd have to come back another day for my additional concerns. I was really taken aback as I've never had a doctor refuse to treat me because of time constraints. After the doc left the room in a hurry, I asked the nurse why I couldn't be treated for all of my concerns today. She told me the office scheduled me a 10 minute appointment for just one concern. I told her I had mentioned two concerns when I set up the appointment. She then told me that setting appointments is not her job. I felt snubbed. It seems to me that these folks are in the business to make money rather than to help people. Bad first impression, I won't return nor recommend them.

Terrible experience! Dr. Hoover created an incision in my lower left leg to remove basal cell…read morecarcinoma. They scheduled stitches removal at 14 days. I followed care directions but sent a message through the portal at 9 days (a Wednesday), with a photo, stating I was concerned about the incision site. No one contacted me. On day 11, a Friday, I phoned to follow up and shared that it was looking worse. They could not find my message, even though I can see it on my end. The nurse had me send another photo; her response was, "Hm, it does look a little angry," and she said she was sending it to the doctor so I could have information before the weekend. Crickets. The next morning, I went to urgent care, where I was diagnosed with a significant bacterial infection and put on a strong antibiotic and very specific care instructions. I was told I was a high risk for sepsis and a blood clot, and there was no certainty that this particular antibiotic would work. It helped, but not enough, so now I'm on my second antibiotic for treatment and am still restricted in my activities. I was told that stitches in this part of the body should not be in for more than 7 days. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. The stitches were in too long, and TWICE I contacted them with concerns, and they did not respond to provide basic patient care. The photo you see is the same photo they were given.
