They called me the next morning and set up my 1st session for the next day. Christopher arrived at our home right on time. After a quick review of paperwork, vitals, and my needs, we got started with my torture, I mean PT. Seriously, Chris did a great job. At each visit, he added and /or adjusted my exercises based on my progress. I appreciated the fact that he really listened to me and also properly pushed me. After 2 weeks, I was released and will continue my recovery independently. Chris was a perfect combination of professional and knowledgeable while also being caring and friendly. They provide so many services, the community just has to open up and explore. Everyone there is incredible and kind and heart felt. Aides calling off, aides leaving early without notifying anyone, the care is anything but seamless and reliable. Of the 7 different aides we retained in our initial week of home care for our parents, one was outstandingly professional, 2 were just adequate, 2 never showed up and the other two left shifts early, leaving a dementia patient. At one point, the aide was asleep In front of the TV while the dementia patient wandered the house in the middle of the night, discovered by his frail wife, who was supposed to be able to sleep through the night. It was our parent's desire to remain in their home with 24 hour care, but after less than a full week, we decided we couldn't take a chance with our parents' safety any longer and they will enter assisted living facility so we can sleep at night in confidence that they are being cared for.

If you care about your loved one, please think very carefully before choosing this nursing home…read more My grandmother is a full-assist resident who requires help with eating and basic daily care. We have told staff many times that she cannot feed herself, yet they routinely place a plate in front of her and walk away. Later they say she "refused food" or "is not eating." That is not true--she needs assistance and is simply being left there without help. Her meal plan was also changed incorrectly. It took over a week to address it. During that time we were told she had stopped eating and that hospice should be considered. In reality, she had been put on the wrong meal plan and could not eat the food she was being given. Every time I visit, I find her in heartbreaking condition. She is often sitting in the same position for long periods, sometimes covered in feces or food and wearing the same dirty clothes for days. There have been visits where she did not even have proper clothing on. Her hair is greasy and it appears she has not been bathed regularly. She has developed pressure sores (bedsores) on her bottom and feet, which strongly suggests she is not being repositioned properly. Seeing this happen to someone you love is devastating. The overall cleanliness of the facility is also extremely concerning. Floors are often dirty, and the environment does not appear sanitary. What is most frustrating is that when family members raise concerns, they are often ignored or dismissed instead of staff taking the complaints seriously and addressing them. Residents in a nursing home deserve dignity, proper hygiene, adequate nutrition, and compassionate care. Based on what we have personally witnessed, those basic standards are not being met here. Families should be aware of what is happening before trusting this facility with someone they love. The food is served cold and with no silverware.
