To make matters worse, his lack of follow-through forced me to push back my court date, something that never should have happened had he done his job properly or at least communicated like a professional. After weeks of frustration, I hired the next person down the list and they successfully served the individual in less than 12 hours. That right there proves how incompetent Ruben was with my case. In this line of work, I understand not every attempt will be successful, but there is no excuse for poor communication, ignoring client instructions, and showing no sense of urgency or accountability.
