My husband and I have be putting off doing a Living Trust for a while now. We thought it would be a difficult process. We are getting older and so putting it off wont work for much longer. Of course we have seen the commercials and so we know the name pretty well. I called to gather some information and they explained what I would need. I was surprised to learn that most of what I needed to do was to give them information about the person who would handle all of our affairs after we passed away and the people we wanted to leave our stuff to after we were gone. They even told me that they can put both of our homes into our trust: The one here in the desert where we live for half the year and the one in Northern California where we stay most of the summer. The price was very good. I have called around to many different attorneys and they quoted me prices that were thousands of dollars, one even wanted six thousand dollars to do a trust. Legal docs was under a thousand and that included both of my homes. Once we finished our phone conversations, my husband and I went to the meeting that we scheduled. They asked us questions to get the information. I thought the office was rather lovely. I did have a little trouble finding the place because google maps took me in the wrong direction. They told me that the trust would be ready for us to sign in a week. It took about a week to get a call, and we came into the office a second time to sign our documents. The final meeting took about 30 mins for them to explain everything in the Trust and to have it notarized. After finishing these documents I felt incredibly relieved. I don't know why we put this off for so long because it was actually quite simple. The great thing about all this is that now I can rest assured that my kids will not have to go to probate when my husband and I pass away. I know first hand how difficult this can be since my mother passed away without a Trust. Overall this is a good place to hire to have your Trust done. read more

After the death of my grandmother, I came to Legal Docs for assistance with handling her estate. Unfortunately when she passed she did not have a trust. We had no idea that she needed one but soon after we learned that it's basically impossible to do anything after someone dies unless you have a trust. If you have no idea what you are doing you should come here and they will handle probate for you. It's incredibly confusing to fill out probate paperwork unless you know how to. The court basically hands you a packet of papers as thick as my math books in college and expects you to fill them out. Or your other option is to come up with a retainer for a lawyer or give them tons of money from your inheritance. I felt comfortable coming here because they actually called me back. I called around to other attorneys and it took days to hear back from them. I called We the People in Riverside and they were stand off ish. So I decided to use Legal Docs. I spoke with Mike and he answered all my questions about the process. He filled out all the paper work for me. All I had to do was sign. I am out of town for work pretty often so I was able to call in for my court day and appear over court call. I thought that was very convenient since I didn't have to take time off to go. Everything was handled and the Judge signed my paperwork and I filed it with the clerk. My overall experience with Legal Docs has been good. My papers came out right and anytime the court needed something else they were on top of it. Since my hearing I have been able to sell my grandmothers house and they prepared the paperwork with the court to show that I was selling it. I should be done with the entire process in a few months. This is my second time using Legal Docs by Me. The first time I spoke with the owner about setting up my business stuff. He mentioned that for my home I may want to consider setting up Trust documents. I decided after only a week, that a Trust would in fact be my best next move. I was happy to hear that the price was significantly less than what I thought it would be. I am not a wealthy man by any means, I am retired and I still need to budget my nest egg. Now, in setting up my Trust i feel confident that my estate plans are in order. I like the simplicity of it all. I like how there were no surprises. Was advised by friends to do a living trust and put my home into the trust. After doing some online research, I decided that this was indeed what I needed to do to keep my children from having to deal with lengthy processes after I pass away. I called around to some lawyers, however I found their prices to be pretty out of reach (I don't have much besides my home). I had seen commercials on TV for Legal Docs by me. I am surprised how easy the process of filing for divorce has been using this company. When I called, I had no idea where to start. My wife and I decided that a divorce was the best thing for us and we knew that it would be uncontested. Initially, I spoke with Linda. She scheduled an appointment for me to come into the office. I am very pleased with my experience in the office. Although they are located right off of highway 111, which is a busy street, the office if very peaceful and beautifully designed. It is a very calming and a pleasant atmosphere. After the secretary sat me down at a table and offered me a bottle of water, Linda asked me a few questions which took about 20 minutes to answer. Legal Docs is all over the news, so I thought I had better give them a try when I needed help adding my wife to our deed. Originally, I was the only one on the deed due to financing reasons, but my wife and I decided that we had better add her to the deed in case something happens to me. We decided to add her as a Joint Tenant. We felt this was the best decision for us so that our property would be covered in case of either of us passing. For something so big, like adding another individual to the title of a property, they actually made it really easy. I started the process and in about a week and a half, it was finished.
