Tony came over and in the span of an hour did an exceptional job of assembling my entertainment center and my nightstand! What wizardry is this? How he was able to do that in such a short time and so perfectly is beyond me. Tony was friendly, called when he was running a bit behind, and cleaned up after himself leaving no traces. Highly recommended. read more

Tony was great. Easy scheduling and communicated via text message. He was very responsive. Tony built an outdoor shed, which was semi-complicated with a lot of parts and was quite bulky (160 lbs). He also put together a hall tree. His quote was very reasonable, he was efficient with his time, and his work was excellent. I would definitely use him again and see why he gets 5 star reviews. read more

Fantastic. We had 9 IKEA PAX cabinets that needed to be assembled, 4 of them in a teeny tiny closet with limited room to maneuver (see photos!) Tony arrived on time, masked up for safety, with all the necessary tools and got to work. He was professional and efficient and the assembly cost was totally reasonable given the amount of work. Our closets look awesome! We would definitely use Assembly Worx again!! read more

Can't recommend Tony enough. We had a changing table with so many parts, I'm sure it would have taken my husband and me hours and hours to try and build. Tony put it together quickly and really carefully - pointing out a couple of issues with the table itself which I appreciate especially with it being nursery furniture. He was also super easy to communicate with and schedule, and really friendly and nice to talk with. We'll definitely use him again. read more

Great job done. They were booked out for a couple weeks so we had to wait but their price was fair. This is what they do all the time and they know all the furniture at IKEA so they're able to give a price up front if you send a link to the item for viewing a photo. Highly recommend. read more

Wow - I am so glad I spent a little bit extra and went with a true furniture assembly expert (still a very fair price though). These guys have great reviews because they are great. Good communicators, on time, and most importantly they quickly and very accurately assemble any furniture and even fix bad assemblies that have already happened. No stress experience. read more

Tony was great and meticulous in his process of fixing an office desk and book shelf!! Will definitely hire him for future needs.

Tony is AWESOME. I messaged him right when my furniture was delivered and he was available that SAME day. We was prompt, quick at assembly and the MOST reasonably priced furniture assembly contractor in the central Austin area. He had a dolly to help me carry in my box, too. Avoided much frustration on my part and more excited about my new mid century cabinet! He was also so pleasant to work with - not awkward at all, like some other companies I've worked with. read more

After starting a new job working from home, it was time to get serious about my workspace. I bought a decently-sized office desk from Office Depot, so I could (hopefully) be productive. As excited as I was about a new desk, I knew that I didn't have the expertise (or tools) to put the thing together myself. This is where Google and Yelp come in and show some highlights of Assembly Worx's reviews and work - definitely impressed by the number of recommendations, so that made it an easy first choice. It was easy to get a quote and schedule an installation. They showed up exactly when they said they would - perfect for me - and got to work. Let me tell you - these guys work fast and are really professional. This company will definitely be my go-to any time I need something put together - thanks y'all! read more

I hired Tony from Assembly Worx after two weeks of frustration and time wasted time dealing with TaskRabbit billing mistakes and to get my remaining PAX units built. One Tasker (IKEA's TaskRabbit contractors) did an unsafe job assembling two PAX units and one Tasker did not know how to do the job. A third Tasker was a no-show which delayed installation of the units as well. TaskRabbit only communicates through emails which is a big problem. FYI - TaskRabbit assigns multiple Taskers if the job is over a certain number of centimeters. If you hire Tony, he can complete all of them for a better price and he uses his own high-quality safety hardware for anti-tipping. I needed Tony to complete the remaining PAX units and correct a safety hazard problem for 2 PAX units and add a corner unit. I found him through Yelp while getting bids from multiple companies to complete the job. Tony responded the next morning by email and gave the best quote of all the companies who responded and was less expensive than TaskRabbit. I called him the next day to arrange an appointment for him to build the units and install the corner unit. Arrangements were made to have him come to do the work. Tony has 17 years of professional building IKEA furniture. In the bedroom, he easily assembled three PAX units together with precision making sure the mirror doors working perfectly. He brought his own materials to anchor units to the wall and offered options on how to attach them to the wall. Safety is a priority with Tony and the work was very well done. The result was perfectly built beautiful mirrored PAX cabinets in the bedroom. For the office, Tony had to correct a safety hazard of a Tasker and he removed the mirrored doors and shelves of each unit in order to install the missing anti-tipping legs. He also built the corner unit with precision make sure the mirrored doors were placed perfectly to open and close smoothly which the second Tasker could not do. Tony's attention to perfection and high-quality work was amazing. Taskers were not even close to the quality of Tony's work. He built everything perfectly which was the opposite of using TaskRabbit's rules of using 3 different people for my one order. Tony was professional, efficient, on time, and had excellent workmanship.Tony excelled in ALL areas of building the IKEA PAX units alone. My experience with TaskRabbit was the opposite with one canceling at the last minute, one making a serious safety mistake, and one not qualified to do the job and left a big mess. I highly recommend Tony to assemble furniture. read more

This is seriously maybe the best 120 dollars I have ever spent in my life. What would have taken me hours upon endless of frustrating hours and multiple fights with my boyfriend, took Tony 1 1/2 hours to assemble a living room chair, 2 night stand tables, 2 stools, a desk and a TV stand. Tony was friendly, incredibly efficient and a meticulous machine. Being that my boyfriend argue over figuring out a 7 dollar tension curtain rod from Bed, Bath and Beyond, Tony may have even saved my relationship. ;) Joking. Kind of. But really, I couldn't be more satisfied and grateful for Furniture Assembly Worx. Thanks again Tony! read more

I had Tony Nguyen assemble an Inversion Table (Exercise Equipment). I wanted to make sure that it was done correctly and professionally - not wanting to fall on my head! I texted him first, he texted back immediately and we set a time. He came early and was done in less than one hour. He is very experienced, and even though the instructions were not super great, he easily put it together. He is just so nice and his prices are so reasonable. I have his card and will call him if I need ANYTHING put together. I still have not heard back from the other assembly companies that I called!! read more

I sent Tony a message on Yelp and he responded within an hour or two. I told him I had an Ikea bed that I needed assembled and asked him when the soonest they could come would be. He replied confirming which Ikea series the bed was from, so that made me feel comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and was familiar with the furniture and exactly what would be required as far as time and effort. Tony & Tony came out within 2 days of when I first messaged him, and assembled the whole bed (which included headboard and under-bed storage drawers) in less than 2 hours and for a very reasonable price. I can't even fathom how long it would've taken me to try and do that myself, or if I could've even done it at all! Tony & Tony were both super friendly and nice, and were extremely efficient and competent. I 110% recommend Furniture Assembly Worx!!! read more

Tony was great. He was able to give me a quote over the phone after I sent him some photos of the 4 metal shelves I needed built. He worked with me around my 8-5 job so that I could be home when he built them. It took him less than an hour and a half to build all the shelves. He communicated with us while he was building them to make sure the height of each shelf was what we needed. My husband and I were impressed with his work and cost. We will be using his service again. :) read more

these guys were great! i don't typically write reviews (good or bad) on companies, but I was so impressed by them that I figured I would make an exception. Tony was the friendliest person to deal with. He was polite and patient. I ordered a bunk bed online and I had to reschedule 4 times with Tony to assemble the bed because the manufacyurer did not ship it when it should have. He was understanding and flexible. It was amazing to watch him put the wood twin over full with stairs bunkbed together. It only took him 3 hours. It would have taken me a month of Sundays. He was very careful to make sure everything lines up and fit correctly. I will always call him for any complex assembly. Thank you Tony, my daughter loves her bunk bed. read more
