Options on options. Any food item that you could possible want is here. It's def a madhouse so be prepared for a ton of ppl and sensory overload. 2 half floors and bars everywhere. Great pit stop while on broadway.

Pros: all different crusine options in 1 place, it's quick, live music, plenty of seating Cons: is a bit higher priced As a tourist, this is one of the recommended places to visit when you are in Downtown Nashville. If you go during peak hours (ie dinner time), it gets packed though it tapers off as the time passes. The music and food smells hits you all at once as you go from one building cross the bridge to the other building. Many great options. We tried several places from bbq, hot fried chicken, phô, and other dishes. If you are in the area, check out out though there are plenty local restaurants to try too.

What a fun collection of food vendors! Take time to try a little bit of everything. From brisket nacho , a burger, and Vietnamese sandwich

Good to pick up something quick. They have a variety of cuisines to choose from. We decided on Mexican from Chilangos Tacos and ordered the birria quesa tacos and pollo nachos. Good price point and food was served fast. Open seating in the food hall. Good overall.

This place was very cool, cafeteria style eatery but with bars and live entertainment. Every kind of food you can think of. Best answer for the friends that cannot agree on what type of food to eat. I ended at Han's Banh Mi & Pho, went with the shrimp pho, amazing. The service was top notch. Would love to try some of the other options, that will be for next time .

I've tried several vendors at Assembly Food Hall over time, and while I understand the appeal for tourists given its location, it's not somewhere I'd recommend as a local. There are smaller versions of well-known Nashville spots inside, but in my experience they don't quite measure up to their original locations. There are also a few unique food stands you can't find elsewhere in the city, but they're often overwhelmed, and the food quality has felt less consistent over time. The atmosphere can be extremely crowded, and finding seating can be frustrating -- especially during peak hours. What's marketed as lively often ends up feeling chaotic. Assembly makes sense for convenience and variety in one place, particularly if you're visiting downtown. But for locals, there are better standalone options across the city that offer stronger quality and a more enjoyable experience.

Great food hall. Try a little of everything from Nashville all in one location. Great experience. Try the fried chicken. Mild is hot enough.

One of must visit in Nashville! The whole plaza is restaurants and food. 3 levels of variety choice for the visitors' appetites. Be prepare to wait in line for popular food and fight for the tables. We had food from 3 places and ice cream shop. All good food. Friendly staff. Bathroom is clean. It's very spacious in the food hall. Live music for entertainment. High tables, regular tables, outdoor seats etc. Vibrant and lively spot for the neighborhood!

The Assembly Food Hall is one of the most popular and sought after tourist destinations in Nashville. It is spread across three floors, with over 30 different restaurants and food stores serving thousands of visitors every day. There's a huge variety of stores here, including burger shack, BBQ, seafood, lobster, sushi, Indian, Mediterranean, Mexican, sandwich shops, ice parlors, wine bars and so many more. There are tables all around in each floor. Still during peak hours it was difficult to get an empty table. We walked around for few minutes until we say a group leaving a table and grabbed it right away. The are several staff members who walk around and clean the empty tables. There's also long lines at each store when it's rush hours. We waited about 10-15 to order at each store. We spent couple of hours here, got to try some tacos, sushi, lobster roll and ice cream. Ice cream from Hattie's was amazing but rest of the items were okay. But we were happy to experience one of the most popular activities.

Great spot overlooking Nashville! We went here for a Vandy reunion event on November 7, 2025. Such a great spot to listen to live music. You are right on top of Broadway.

So many different restaurants to choose from. It's great cuz I wanted sushi and got it from Horu Sushi which was absolutely delicious. My husband got a Philly cheese steak sandwich and then we met at a table and enjoyed what each of us wanted. Love this way of having a meal. Service was great and the environment was awesome. Cant wait to go back.

I would highly recommend going here for a meal. Very large and clean, with lots of seating (indoors and outdoor). Choices include the famous local Hot Fried Chicken places: Hattie B's and Prince's- both must try. But also has Thai food, sushi, Vietnamese food, Mexican food- almost anything you would want. There's also a wine bar owned by Dolly Parton and live music, and it's smack in the middle of Broadway, right next to the historic Ryman auditorium. It's self service and has attached parking.

A fantastic food hall! Great for people of all ages, desires and hunger levels. There are a few bars sprinkled throughout endless restaurant options. A little overwhelming, but in a good way. We ended up ordered sushi and was very impressed at the quantity of food for the very reasonable price. We also grabbed a few happy hour drinks at the bar. There is tons of seating options, great people watching, and of course live music. A great place to make everyone's stomach happy.

Ask the Community - Assembly Food Hall

What is cost of parking?

It varies by the parking areas downtown

Is there an elevator for people in wheelchairs to get to 2nd floor and rooftop?

Yes. We saw it but didn't use it. Next to the escalators.

Where can I park for free?

We did not find any free parking. Every lot was pay. We didn't really even find any street parking. All the lots were decently expensive as well.… Read more

Is there parking?

There are several garages in the area, street parking downtown is extremely limited.

Is the hall pet friendly?

No, the assembly food Hall is not pet friendly.

Is there anywhere to watch the Titans game on Sundays at the Food Hall? Thx…

They have a big screen TV on both sides of the 2nd floor, but if there is live entertainment that will be in front of the screens instead.

What had prior to 2021 been the abandoned Nashville Convention Center is now a modern mixed use development that has brought life into Broadway west of the "Honkey Tonk Highway" stretch. It features a shopping mall, Assembly Food Hall, a retail scape fronting Broadway, The Place at Fifth, the National Museum of African American Music, and the towering landmark 501 Commerce Street Building. It has brought an Apple Store, Sephora, Shake Shack, Hattie B's, Prince's Chicken, and more to Broadway. On my vacation, I had caught it's act several times. The one sight that always stood out was the consistent long line to Hattie B's. My visits here included Assembly Food Hall, Prince's Fried Chicken, the Twelve Thirty Club, visit the Apple Store, and walk around. My impression was that the stores and restaurants are reasonably priced. Although the restaurants and stores provide decent value, to me the greatest value here was the photo opportunities. The focal point of the development, the L-shaped mall which bridges Broadway with Rep. John Lewis Way gives the gift of a prime photo spot for the 1) Ryman Auditorium where the original Grand Ol Opry performed and 2) Bridgestone Arena. The restaurants, especially in the Assembly Hall provide an opportunity to photograph food. I recommend the Assembly Food Hall Bridge to photograp the historic Ryman Auditorium. Additionally , I learned that if I stood on Broadway by the Bridgestone Arena, that Fifth Plus Broadway made a dynamic photo showing modern and historic Broadway, with the modern Fifth Plus Broadway architecture including towers contrasting with the historic Honkey Tonk Highway streetscape. As far as safety, I felt safe. The one annoyance that I saw were street hustlers at the Rep. John Lewis Way entrance aggressively bothering passer-by. During all of my visits here it was busy. There is a safety in numbers. On the subject of safety, the hot and humid summers need to be taken into account. On a few occasions we had escaped the excruciating heat in the air conditioned Assembly Food Hall for a couple of hours. I rate Fifth Plus Broadway "Four Stars." It is doing a remarkable job extending the lively Broadway restaurant and entertainment scene beyond the western edge of the Honkey Tonk Highway.

It's quite aesthetic with bright lighting and wide, airy spaces. There's plenty of seating to enjoy food or the vibes. I got some boba and swung by Five Daughter's Bakery AKA the bakery with the 100-layered donut / cronut which takes three days to make. If I was hungrier I would have tried out of the restaurants. One point of confusion is the parking. It's technically free, but you have to register inside to get a voucher after scanning a QR code posted outside. The marketplace is not a particularly busy area unlike downtown, so I'm not sure why the marketplace has to make it so complex. I'm not sure there are many people parking and walking off...

Anyway, there's free parking buuuut I guess you have to jump through a few hoops to get it (there's literally nothing else around so why not just allow people to park and come in?) A good amount of stuff going on in here: you can find clothing (more on the conservativ/athleisure wear side of the spectrum), gifts, snacks, a salon, cycling classes, coffee, a Mediterranean food stand, an Italian restaurant and more. I feel like I've barely scratched the surface! While I didn't try any of the food options besides the gourmet popcorn place (which is surprisingly affordable for gourmet popcorn!) I loved the drinks I had at both Eat Bubbles (boba, matcha etc) and the irresistible Pont Neuf wine bar (both of which I'll review separately). And perhaps best of all: they have great seating areas throughout in which you can set up shop for working remotely, drinking your drinks, eating your snacks... so have at it!

Food: 1* Service: 1*…read moreAmbiance: 4* Food I ordered the pad kee mao with chicken (2*). I also ordered the fresh spring rolls (2*). The person taking the order Juan according to the receipt was disaffected, disengaged, and unhelpful. There was no line nor were there people waiting when I stepped up to order. I asked if the Pad Kee Mao was spicy, like it is supposed to be, and he said he didn't know, but he would ask the kitchen to make it spicy. I ordered the spring rolls which supposedly would have shrimp in them with a sauce. I asked for it to go. I paid and was told to wait in the pick up area (6 feet away). It was a chaotic mess between the cooks and the pick up area. When you tried to ask a question, no one would respond. They were speaking Spanish, so I switched to Spanish. They looked at me surprised that a white guy was speaking Spanish. All of a sudden, they were responsive. I asked for spicy sauce. Service was very poor as described. When I asked for my bag to carry my food to go, the guy looked at me and threw me a plastic bag. Really? I left and walked to my hotel room to enjoy. The pad was flavorless, no spice, no chicken, just noodles, a bell pepper, two small pieces of broccoli, and sauce. No meat. No tofu. Nothing more. The spring rolls were falling apart. Very poorly wrapped and almost exclusively cabbage. No meat, no shrimp, just veggies. The sauce was peanut like but so watered down that it didn't even coat the rolls. The ambiance was nice. That is due to the food hall and has nothing to do with this restaurant. I would NOT return.

Rivergate Mall, a barely functioning relic of the past…read more What once was the heartbeat of the Rivergate area in Goodlettsville is now a reminder of what once was, but sadly is no more. The mall has certainly seen better days and at this point is just waiting for the impending closure and redevelopment that is due anytime now. In current state, the mall only has 20 active retail stores and two eateries. Majority of the stores are locally owned and branded, however there are still a few nationally recognized stores such as JC Penney, Dillard's, Foot Locker, CITI Trends, Guitar Center and Finish Line. The mall is in rough shape and is honestly a sad place to be at this point. No refresh is coming, but they do keep it fairly clean, even the restrooms were tidy and well stocked. My recent visits, and most over the years, have been to Dillard's or JC Penney. I pop into the shoe stores on occasion, but my trips here are usually very purposeful. Overall, Rivergate mall can still come in clutch when needed. It will be a sad day when it finally says goodbye, but it has done its thing well for the area for close to 60 years now.

Rivergate Mall, located in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, is a super-regional shopping mall that opened in 1971. It features a gross leasable area of 1,129,035 square feet, with approximately 80 stores and restaurants, and a food court. The mall has two anchor stores, Dillard's and JCPenney, and previously housed Macy's and Sears. It is managed by Hendon Properties. Rivergate Mall is currently undergoing a major redevelopment project that will transform it into a dynamic, mixed-use destination featuring retail, restaurants, townhomes, market-rate multifamily housing, independent senior living, and transit-oriented features. The redevelopment includes a significant expansion of the mall's portion within Goodlettsville city limits, from 33% to an estimated 60%-70%. The demolition of the existing mall structure is expected to begin in the late summer of 2025. The project is projected to generate approximately $1.5 million in annual sales tax revenue for Goodlettsville upon completion. Rivergate Mall was built by Retail Planning Corporation and opened on October 6, 1971. It was the largest mall in Tennessee until the opening of Hickory Hollow Mall in 1978. Over the years, the mall has seen changes in ownership and anchor stores, with the closure of Sears in 2019 and Macy's in 2020. The mall's revitalization efforts come amidst a decline in popularity, attributed in part to the rise of online shopping and competition from other retail centers. The pandemic also impacted the mall, with some employees noting that it never fully recovered from pandemic-related changes in hours and operations. The redevelopment project aims to revitalize the Rivergate area and enhance the quality of life for the community. While the transformation promises economic benefits and a modernized environment, it also brings uncertainty for the employees of the remaining stores, as many worry about their future employment prospects.
