I recently moved and a big, heavy, floating entertainment shelf I ordered arrived late. I really needed just the shelf mounted. Not many handymen are willing to do single jobs, but Jack was and I'm SO thankful! After doing a little research, I decided to call Jack at Assemble to handle mounting our new 58" TV and sound bar. Jack was responsive and professional, and his quote was exactly what I expected based on his website. As the daughter of a builder, I very much appreciated his care with measurement and installation. He made sure that everything was done to his (and my!) high expectations. When we ran into a snag with the tv mount, Jack trouble-shot what turned out to be a somewhat bizarre issue - the manufacturer had included metric stabilizer screws for a standard english threaded screw hole, which was entirely unworkable. Jack quickly diagnosed the issue and determined the correct screw size so that the installation could be completed. What a relief! I would not have figured this out myself. So far, he has put together furniture, replaced toilets and faucets, repaired my garbage disposal and lazy boy chair, installed shades, blinds and balances. Jack has done 3 different projects for me from mounting a flat screen to carpentry. He is a perfectionist and it shows in his work.

Jack rocks! We had 3 mirrors to hang and 4 wood panels. Only one mirror had hardware. The others did not. Two of the mirrors were metal framed and he had to come up up with a custom way to hang them...AND HE DID. He had to get custom machines screws and figure out how to attach them to the mirrors. It was awesome. After figuring out how to get the hardware on, he hung them perfectly. He then meticulously hung 4 wooden decorative panels (also without hardware) and lined them up perfectly. I've had him to the house twice and plan on having him come back for all my odd jobs. He communicates well, is fair priced, and just all around awesome! read more
