Dr. Lisa always pops in to check on how my teeth are doing, and I appreciate that too. The office is a cozy, welcoming place overall-everyone is great. I used to "commute" to Utah to see my dentist twice a year when I moved to the PNW 18 years ago until I met Dr Lisa. I tried a couple of dentists here but none had the same quality, attention to detail, or customer experience that I had been used to all my life...until Dr Lisa and the Aspire Dental team. Now I commute from Vancouver, WA to downtown Portland for all of my dental work (they validate parking if you are worried about that). Dr Lisa is so smart, efficient but detailed, and her hygienists and staff are just as great as she is! I am always greeted with a smile and familiar face and made to feel right at home. I have genetically challenging teeth (two implants, two gum grafts, root canals, lots of cavities from childhood, and now I'm going through menopause, so more changes). Dr Lisa and her team have made my experience going to the dentist so much easier and so much smoother and I am so grateful for them. If you are thinking about trying them out, just do it. I have been going to this office for years. Dr. Lisa is very professional, proficient, and personable . The dental hygienists are pleasant and skilled. The office staff are kind and helpful both over the phone and in person. They send out helpful reminders prior to appointments. Since the office is inside a skyscraper, you'll have to either street park or park in a garage. If you park in the garage (Smart Park 10th and Yamhill, which is ~2 blocks south) they will give you validation tickets for free parking. Their practice accepts dental insurance or they have an in-house plan if you don't have dental insurance. They also see kids! I have enjoyed getting care here! read more

OMG!!!! Love this office. The doctor and my hygienist Lisa were great! I wish I could pack them up and bring them back to Atlanta when I have go back. I went in yesterday and I had my X-rays done and exam with the doctor and I ran out of time because I was on my lunch hour. Lisa, my hygienist changed her lunch hour for me to come back today so she could do my cleaning. Fantastic!!!!! Great conversation. Talk about awesome patient care!!!! Hell yeah, 100%!!!!! Yesterday I had some work done on my left lower molar yesterday afternoon. The work was done perfectly, and efficiently with zero pain whatsoever. And today - I still have no pain or discomfort. The staff are very knowledgeable, very friendly. This operation is 5 star plus in my opinion. However, I'm very saddened to see that starting next Jan1 - Aspire Dental will not longer be in my dental network. At 35 years old I didn't think it was possible to have "good experiences" with a dentist but my perspective has changed after a year with Aspire. Every cleaning has been super easy and efficient, they are very prompt and helpful while being realistic with my dental care. Yesterday I had a filling done that was the easiest process ever, absolutely no pain or discomfort and the whole procedure took less than an hour. After going to Dr. Lisa for five or six years, I'm on the hunt for a new dentist. I liked Aspire Dental so much I recommended my partner see them as well. All was fine and good until we got a $200+ bill in the mail for my partner's cleaning. When I followed up with the office, they said they dropped Delta Dental and the hygienist was supposed to tell her. I've had medical providers drop or change insurance in the past, and they've always sent letters with plenty of notice about the change. Apparently Aspire doesn't work that way. Instead they tried to sell us on their "Aspire+" plan for discounts on dental work. They agreed to waive the charges we received and we cancelled my partner's next appointment in six months. A few weeks later I got a second bill in the mail and had to follow up again on the charges and whether they were going to be waived or not. Eventually they did take care of it, but six months later, they called my partner to confirm her appointment that we cancelled. She told them it had been cancelled and she wouldn't be there. They called AGAIN to confirm a few days later. I've always been happy with the dental care I've received, but the current management and office practices leave much to be desired. It's just not worth the stress and fear that our insurance will be cancelled in the future without notification again. read more

Best dental office I've ever been to. Christa cleans your teeth so gently, is super thorough, and remembers everything we discussed during my last visit. She is also super nice! Dr. Lisa is also very kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and generally a kickass MD. She doesn't hesitate to recommend you to a specialist when needed. The whole experience is well crafted. I get in, they clean my teeth, ask if I want a goodie bag, send me to the front where the front of house staff already has my printed referrals, quote for a night guard, and my prescription toothpaste.
