AJ was my point person from the moment I called to the final invoice. He was polite, professional and did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. He came out the same day I called for an estimate and the estimate he gave me was lower than the number I had in my head (it's a miracle!). We scheduled the work and the team showed up promptly. In all it took four days to complete the job (day 1, tear down old chimney, day 2, construct new chimney, day 3, concrete on the top, day 4, put the cap and the animal barrier in. Each day AJ would text me when the crew was on their way. They communicated each day about what was happening and when they would be at my home. They tolerated my dogs barking at them. And I really want to mention that they did an exceptional job cleaning up after themselves, even hosing down my entire driveway before they left on the final day. Crew was courteous and respectful of us and our property. And the finished product looks great and is a dramatic improvement over what we had. You'll notice lots of happy customers! That's what I did when my concrete chimney crown cracked to the point where any rain event would make it's way into the ceiling of my home. As many other reviews have stated, they believed their job was too small to be of interest to any mason, including the McHenry team. Andre seems to be very adept at not only fitting his job review and estimates into very busy and fully scheduled work days, but also the actual work. Very attentive to the needs of his customer(s), and at what I deemed a very fair price. Andre didn't send a team of workers for a one-man job, rather, Grayson arrived, had been fully briefed on what needed to be done, and got right to work. He was able to remove the old/cracked crown, replace it with new concrete, remove the old flashing caulk and re-caulk with quality polyurethane product in a couple of late day visits. I was impressed with how quickly Grayson finished the job, especially from scaffolding he brought up to my roof. These guys have a ton of energy, answer questions with patience, and smile the entire time.
