We love this office, and our pediatrician (Dr. Meredith Reynolds)! We started going when our first baby was born (they came to the hospital of course), and have continued for over 2 years, along with our second baby as well. We love the home away from home feeling from the office and location itself, next to the river and one of our favorite parks. Everyone is always so gentle, from sick visits to shots and physicals. My daughter had developed some doctor anxiety around 18 months but it quickly subsided by her 2 year old check up when she wore her Elsa costume and got complimented and hyped up by nurses and the doctor. She loves doctors now! I love that we can call for a same-day sick appointment, and I love that there seems to be no dumb questions. I feel heard with any concerns I have for my children, and I feel valued as a parent trying to do my best. Any referrals we have needed or asked about have been responded to promptly. You can relax in this office, and rest assured that your babies are in the absolute best hands. Truly the best pediatrician office in Northern Nevada, hands down. Aspen pediatrics has been our pediatrician for over a year now. We had our first child back in August of 2023 and started with Aspen from the beginning. We have had nothing but good experiences for the first year of our child's life! All of the doctors are super kind and knowledgeable. Never rush us or make us feel stupid for asking all those first time parent questions. We typically see Dr rotem and she quite honestly changed our life. When we came in for our 9 month appointment she asked us how we were sleeping - and honestly we weren't! Our son had terrible sleeping habits and Dr rotem spent extra time at our appointment helping us with suggestions we should do to help. She answers all our questions, reassures my husband and I of our baby's good health, and shows she cares! Quality of care has been amazing with Aspen Pediatrics. Dr. Meredith has been seeing my baby since birth, and has been amazing. I appreciate the somewhat old school, yet not outdated, and very thorough approach to child care. All the staff in the office are so helpful and accommodating. We've been taking our kids here since they were born (over 2 years now). The staff is always super friendly and helpful. All of the doctors we have met have been attentive and caring, but Dr. Colletti is our favorite. They have a pediatrician on call for questions outside of office hours and triage nurses during regular business hours as well. I've been meaning to write a review since my son was born in 2019, and now that I've had my third and final baby I wanted to make sure I write my sentiments for this amazing practice. Every provider I've seen here is absolutely incredible. We don't have a set provider and we see them all and I've never had a single issue. When we call for a sick appointment they get us in immediately. My oldest son got nurses elbow while we were playing with him and we genuinely thought we broke his arm and we came in and I can't remember who saw us but she popped his elbow back in with ease and my son didn't make a peep. We were so scared and they were so comforting. I have never waited longer than 5 minutes in the lobby, which I appreciate since my kids are usually running around the lobby I like getting them into a room as quick as possible! The front desk and nurses are amazing. They all remember us and make us all feel so comfortable, I wish I could remember some of their names to mention here, but I genuinely love and appreciate them all. I recommend them to everyone we know having babies and I love that my kids will go here until they grow up! read more

Our 2 year old son wasn't feeling good. He had a cough and wheezing so we wanted to get him in asap. I called as soon as the office opened to get my daughter in for a sick visit. They were able to get her in that afternoon. We were early and they still took us and we got done within a very reasonable amount of time. The nurse and doctor both were very nice and helpful in explaining everything. The team here is absolutely amazing! Most of my husbands work goes here for their littles so we figured we'd give them a shot and we didn't regret it! We live about 2 hours away so it is a bit of a travel for us, there was a misunderstanding in regards to my daughters appointment on my end and I showed up a day early, but without even a pause they said they'd see her. I've never once felt rushed there. My daughter was also behind on her shots due to us recently moving from AZ and they didn't seem to judge at all, just got right to work and figured out a shot schedule for my daughter that wouldn't overwhelm her. I have to say the care provided by the entire office- from the front staff to the medical assistants and each provider we have seen in the office to date is beyond exceptional. Having been working in the medical field myself for over 10 years is a rarity these days to find that many hard working and compassionate professionals in the same place! If I could give a ZERO stars I would, staff is very rude, unprofessional. They charge fees like crazy, ex: I had received a text reminder for an appointment I did not set for my child, called and was told they set it because they do 2.5 year check ups, well I was not aware of this appointment as I never scheduled it. So I was met with a rude tone, and told if I don't show I will be charged a $50 fee in which I was as the text reminder was 2 hours before the appointment time. Other time I emailed the nurses, pictures, descriptions and told them specific issue was not infected nor an emergancy, but I was told to come in anyways, so we did, cost me $75 because it was marked as an emergancy visit (again I told them it was not emergent and I just had a few concerns about issue.) anyways I go in and was told after waiting for over an hour in the room, no check ins or anything that we needed to soak 3 times a day and push back my sons fingernail... $75 for that.. I had stated in my email, we have soaked, filed and tried everything at home and that if they could not help I did not want to come in, they are Accross town, and a waste of $75 and our time. Also time frames are ridiculous too, to actually get ahold of anyone without being put on hold, pick up and hold again is ridiculous. I did like my dr. For awhile that is, very laid back but never really explained or helped with our concerns, and if we ever went for a "sick visit" we never actually got to see our dr. Also they are open less than 8 hr a day, closed an hour a day for "lunch" and rarely get back to voicemails or call back for concerns. But definitely will get back to you if you owe money for sure. I definitely do not recommend this place, they are rude, and will tell you to come into office for literally anything just to tell you oh your child needs rest , or your child needs a soak in the bath.. ex. And charge you $50-$75+ per visit. I've never had a Pediatrition charge late fee, fee for canceling an appointment. Or in my case not showing up because I DIDNT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR MY CHILD, IT WAS SCHEDULED FOR ME AND NOT CONFIRMED NOR WANTED. Go somewhere else for your littles.. read more

Good things: flexible staff when making appointments, organized, professional. About me: I question doctors and western medicine, as they have in my experience acted the authority on all medical issues when in fact there are many different and valid approaches. I believe medicine is about mind and whole body and that they are inexplicably intertwined. I also believe in consent no matter the age, so for example if my child is frightened or doesn't understand something I slow down and explain rather than pushing them through. This is **not** a place that, from my experience, alternative-type parents will feel comfortable at. I will be finding a different pediatrician. The office staff didn't even make eye contact with me (and we were new patients), the nurse was extremely rushed when taking my sons weight and height, even when he was clearly confused and uncomfortable. The doctor TOLD me what vaccinations they would be doing that day, even though I had not consented and had not asked for vaccinations (I'm not anti-vaccination, I just like knowing science behind the shots, and prefer to establish a vaccine schedule based off need and best practice for my kid). When I told her that I'd like to wait and talk to my previous pediatrician, she tried to push me into doing them. She also did not explain what she was doing to Archer when doing his physical, leaving me rushing to try to explain as it was happening and Archer very uncomfortable. I also still breastfeed (he's 2.5, so yes it's longer than most! ) and got the sense it made them uncomfortable, but I could be wrong. I wish I had said a bit more of this during the appointment, but I'm not the best at confrontation (working on it). I don't think these doctors are bad, or wrong! I have no doubt they are very good at what they do. But it was NOT the right choice for us, so I thought I'd share in case there are other mamas who have got sensitive kids, different from the mainstream views of medicine, and like to hear the science and make their own choices for their kids health. This is the best Pediatric office ever!! The staff and MDs are phenomenal. I was recommended by a friend and the past couple of months we have been in for routine checkups, sick visits, and urgent care visits with our little 22 month old have been amazing. The access to a MD is better at Aspen Pediatrics compared to most Urgent Cares! There has been only one occasion where we have had to wait a little while in the office but usually we are brought back to a room within 10 minutes. The fact that they have Urgent Care times during the week and a weekend day is amazing. Their website is incredibly good with great information especially for first time moms like me! We had a great experience with our son's first pediatrician office in the Bay Area (a Stanford affiliated office). But Aspen meets and exceeds that along with their friendly-home like atmosphere. read more

Aspen pediatrics treats us like family with a small home-like atmosphere, and recently squeezed in my son last-minute when he had a terrible sore throat that ended up being Strep. Good thing, as we were able to get him started on antibiotics right away so he could feel better and get back to school and sports sooner. read more

All the the Doctors and staff are extremely patient and welcoming. You feel like part of the family in this office. Our son started coming to the office at 9 months when we moved from a different state. I instantly felt comfortable. Unfortunately, he had to get stitches on his face and we were horrified. Dr. Pat and the nurses put our nerves at ease and stitched him up. He now does not have a mental or physical scar! I can never thank them enough. We now have a daughter and she goes to Aspen as well. I know that she will never be afraid to go to the Doctors office. I wish all Doctors offices were like Aspen. read more
