I would think twice about getting in the pool. If the hotel isn't very clean, would the pool chemicals be appropriately monitored? Can't say anything about the hot tub as it was closed (which is probably a good thing). It was a very uncomfortable stay. This hotel was a joke. I recommend staying at ANY other one than this one. I really can't say anything positive about this place.

After my contactless (COVID protocol) check in, I entered a room was clean and well maintained. The wood paneling and the (plastic) antlers over the bed gave an up-north rustic atmosphere that wasn't over-the-top kitschy as is the case at some of these older mom-n-pop operations. Bed was on the soft side but not uncomfortably so. Thicker curtains wouldn't be a bad idea here, as the lights over the sidewalk along the front of the motel shine through rather brightly. Bathroom was clean. The shower looked like it had been recently retiled. A full closet gave room to keep my luggage and gear convenient but out of the way. I would have liked a little more light in the rear end of the room, over the table, as I had some work to do while there. This wasn't primarily a working trip for me, but if you were staying on business, you might want to bring a table lamp. At least the table is large enough to comfortably spread out a laptop, papers, etc. A good find, with better quality and value than most comparable motels.
