When I asked the employee about it, they said they tell the customers they aren't authentic, and there was a sign saying they weren't authentic - both of which are false. Since the boxes were opened, they would not give me a refund or store credit. I asked for them to put up the sign stating they were fake, and waited until it was posted. An older woman working at the store approached my teenage daughters and condescendingly asked them if they knew not to open the toys they were looking at in order to take some of the small pieces out, inferring that they would steal them or switch them out for something more desirable. Her accusatory tone made us immediately put down our items and leave. Not a good way to do business or welcome people into your store. My kids were supervised by both parents and she should have spoken to me, or not at all. We will not be returning during our stay the rest of the week. I am sure there are toy stores in Vail and Frisco to visit where we can make a purchase and not be accused of stealing.

Breck Kidz is an adorable store that carries super cute clothing and accessories for young…read morechildren. It's a family owned business and you can tell that they take pride in their merchandise. I stopped in hoping to make a few purchases for my grandson. Unfortunately the majority of truly unique clothing seemed to be for the girls only. The boys clothing line was nice but limited and not as fun. The owner admitted that they do not sell as many boys items so the inventory is lower. I can appreciate that and if the time comes where I become a grandmother to a girl I will be all over this store. If you have a daughter or a granddaughter and are looking for something special I highly recommend visiting Breck Kidz.
