Scheduled an appt for 7am for extraction of abscessed tooth. Extraction was rescheduled TWICE in one day because appt at 7 was a sales pitch for "snap on dentures!" When I finally saw a dentist, the numbing injections were so painful my eyes watered & I literally started raising up in the chair. He pulled the tooth, said "we're done", and walked out. Never even made eye contact with me! All the staff are focused on $, not on patient care. They are emotionless, devoid of feeling, and care nothing about the patients! They shove a portable card reader at you for payment & greet you with "your payment today will be $XXXX. I am still having trouble with swelling of lip on side of extraction, and it has been nearly a month since the procedure. I would NEVER recommend them or use their services again! They are nothing but a money hungry corporation. They have NOTHING in common with a dental practice! Stay away. far away! read more

These are some of the most incompetent workers I've ever encountered. From scheduling appointments to payments. They don't schedule your next appointment with enough time to do the exam before cleaning. So then you have to reschedule a week out. Then they let you leave without paying and call you the next day saying you have a balance due. They need to get their office together. read more

Four of my six implants fell out on their own. My body rejected bone graft material used. When I told the dentist, he said it must have been chicken or something else. I was charged for bone removal, but told it was better not to remove sharp places, but to " let my body absorb them". Hard to get follow up appointments after they have been paid. I spent over $1000 and had two different upper dentures made at Aspen Dentures in Lufkin, when they couldn't get the top one straight they made me another denture that was even more crooked, I don't understand why they couldn't make me a top denture that wasn't crooked, they finally said I needed a new bottom denture made before they could get the top one straight, my bottom denture was custom made and fit perfectly so I wasn't shelling out another $1000 for a new bottom denture, they tell you they can keep changing the wax try in until it is right but after a couple times they are wanting to be done with you read more

If your in a hurry, I don't recommend this company. I have had 3 appointments and every one of them has been over an hour behind schedule. No one tells you anything, and when you inquire about the wait, they act like it's an inconvenience to them that you are asking. Why over book and get bad reviews. Unfortunately, my experiences with Aspen have been so bad, I had to resort to audio recording and extensive documentation with every visit/interaction there. Here is just ONE example why; After the Dentist came into my room, donned gloves, and began touching things to secure in my mouth, I pleasantly and respectfully asked for her to please wash her hands. She begins to get very defensive and argumentative, stating she had gloves on and was not touching my mouth! (was prepping the cap to put in my mouth) She then exasperatedly obliged by washing her hands. After my visit was complete, her gloves were removed and immediately I saw/heard her with the patient next door. She didn't wash her hands prior to entering or exiting my room. Do you think she washed her hands pre/post the next patient? Not to mention, within the last 4 years, I've been to Aspen 28 times trying to get my dental work correct. All to no avail. They do not even have all the documentation of these visits. But I do! They have totally screwed up my mouth. Stay far, far away from this place! read more

I tried applying for a job here and it was extremely difficult to get ahold of anyone let alone the local office. All the online job websites said they had a job available in the area but then it wouldn't allow me to apply. It was just pretty frustrating and I ended up giving up. read more

Idk why the bad reviews, the staff was very friendly and I'm happy with the pricing, they're saving me almost 600 dollars compared to most places to get my wisdom teeth pulled. The front office is the worst. They have collected thousands of dollars from me and my insurance and they still nickel and dime you. When I tried to pay with the only form of payment I had, they said their internet was down and I couldn't pay with that method and that I had to pay in full or would have to reschedule after I had driven 49 miles to get there. OMG One star is a a gift. The office staff is completely unraveled, I have two insurances and WAS an existing patient. It starts off my first visit with my insurance being inputed incorrectly and me receiving multiple bills from them. I was on the phone at least 5 times resolving their error. I needed to return for some more work and now they say they need payment in advance before the Dentist will allow me to be scheduled. Office policy. Who does this to existing patients with really good insurance. Tired of the drama with this 3rd class office. I suggest taking your business elsewhere read more

This place has to be the worst place. I was in need of a full set of dentures, so I made appointment. I picked some out, paid 6500.00 and the set that was made for me were horrible. They didn't fit, the teeth looked like long rat teeth. The dentist were rude when I refused to take them. One of their motto's is " we treat each patient like our own mother". I feel sorry for the mom's if they treat them like I was treated. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Don't waste your money!! read more

From the front door to all the rooms in the back, the staff of this office is on point. Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. My husband is wildly afraid of needles, the Dr & nurses were very aware and attentive of that fact. As stressful as the procedure was for my husband, the staff was very calming and joked back when my husband made funny comments. Two weeks later, I waited 35min past apt time and was told dentist running "a little late" and would be at least 15min longer. Staff had a "don't care attitude". Do not go there. This is the worst medical experience of my entire life. It is corporate America on display in the Dental space. I would have to publish an ebook on my experience in order to show the detailed rottenness of the corporate attitude in this joint. *Their mission is not to help, they want to sell a product. I went in sever pain for a simple extraction and they craftily showed me I needed $17k in additional work, complete with financing. *They deceived me about the cost of my procedure. I was told by corporate switch board that the cost was $110, but they unashamedly with no desire to honor the initial lie, charged $195. *They sent me home in intense pain with no treatment or medication. *Not one time did they contact me about the treatment for the initial problem but I had to incessantly call them to get a follow up appointment. * They were unkind and unsympathetic Toward patient suffering. *They care after procedure was atrocious with No concern at all. They were almost contemptuous when my wife called, I could go on.... Somebody should find a good case to sue them, shut them down, remove them from this city and put them out of their misery. *A caveat? The Doctor was accomplished, kind and did a good job! I intially was seen in June of 2018, had a tooth filled but after a week it was not feeling right (tender to the touch), just did not feel right. I went back in with my complaint, was examined and told nothing was wrong. The problem never ceased to bother me. Recently I have gone to another dentist for cleaning, x-ray, and etc. I was told the filling in this particular tooth was too close to the nerve, I had an infection, and the tooth needed a root canal/crown or extraction. Other work was done which I have no complaint about but this one thing in itself does not merit any more than one star. read more

This has to be the worst dentist I've ever dealt with. First my wife goes in and needs a root canal done, so she takes off work only for the dentist to say he can't do it and she needs to go to a specialist. So there's time lost only to have to take more time to go somewhere else. After she gets the root canal we call and ask how much a crown would be and they are so inconsistent and their numbers are everywhere so we ask for a pre-determination. This goes on for three months and repeatedly calling to get this done. Finally they look at the pre-determination and agree on a price. So my wife takes off work again and when she gets there they tell her the price was wrong even though we had a pre-determination showing the price and they jack the price up a couple hundred dollars more. The staff at this place are the worst. They give you several different stories, it takes them months to send in the right paper work and they never call you back when they say they will. I even called the complaint line who said they will have the regional manager call me. That was 3 months ago and still no call. As for us they lost business with my family and any recommendations for them from us. If I were you I'd try somewhere else so you don't have to put up with this unprofessional establishment. read more

first of all, I was led to believe that they took me insurance. I went through the whole process of getting my xrays and talking to the gum specialist. Then when it came down to payment, they said oh we dont take your insurance. I had an emergency situation that day where my tooth had broke off and was cutting into my gum/tongue and tooth had to be extracted. so she scheduled that for another day, but I was like can he at least make the tooth where it won't hurt me....oh he already left for the day. wth? knowing I was sitting there waiting on them to decide if they take my insurance or not. I opted to go ahead and pay to have my tooth removed there cause I didn't wanna wait ( another doctor and another visit).... visit was awesome. staff was awesome. they got me in and out no problems. well.....1 week after now, I am still having pain. called emergency line on sunday, cause I think I have a dry socket and in extreme pain. no call back. I call Monday and girl informs me that they can't see me till maybe wed and to take pain meds/ advil. I think if you operate on someone and there is complications then u should be more flexible to bring those patients into see first .... bad buisness decisions. that's why after this is over and done, I won't be back. read more
