After reviewing Aspen's reviews on Google I was skeptical about if I made the right choice to choose them for my dental needs but I'm happy I didn't let those reviews ruin the experience I had. People complained about the wait but the wait wasn't bad at all, it went exceptionally fast compared to going to a regular doctor appointment. People complained that they felt like a product going down an assembly line and I didn't feel that way at all. There's different rooms and areas for different reasons, just like a doctor office. People complained that they were pushing them for different products but all they did was inform me on different options they had for different budgets. I also saw people complaining about they got charged a bill after but they inform you that upfront that if your dental insurance doesn't cover all the costs then you are responsible for that and that's the same as anywhere else, if you ask me. The whole staff was super helpful and friendly. I have anxiety when it comes to dentists but they made me relaxed and calm the whole time. I had my whole top pulled and dentures put in within 30 minutes and the pain after wasn't bad at all. People complained about all they give us antibiotics and ibuprofen but they work well enough to me to manage my pain so I don't see an issue with that at all. Overall Aspen gave me the best experience I could've ever expected and I'm so happy I did t let those negative reviews keep me from going. I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

Still waiting from aspen corporate to contact me about my adjust for implants and denture rub that now is very tender and bleeding. I would go to a different dentist to adjust my implant , but they won't take it on. My upper denture won't stay in with out paste , I was told wouldn't need paste until the dentures we're worn for a awhile but only two weeks out , not acceptable. All of this after spending thousands. I should get my money back, but that's not happening. Just getting here run around and false promises. As a company aspen should buck up and make this right. I've never left a review for anything before but had to learn after my experience today. I had an appointment for what I expected to be a quick cleaning, I ended up at the office for FOUR hours. I came in for my appointment time, waited in various rooms and was examined by three different people for 2 hours. Then after all of that, I was sent to another waiting room and was told they would "see if they could schedule my cleaning". Once I was taken out of there after more waiting, they told me they could do my cleaning in 45 minutes. Then they had me pay before the service, I came back at my new time (2 and a half hours after my scheduled appt) and then waited for another 30 minutes before I was brought back. Overall, again it was a 4 hour experience for a cleaning, the whole time they're talking in circles around me trying to convince me to spend as much unnecessary money as possible. It was the worst dental experience I've had, and I was only there for a cleaning. I set up my new patient appointment via the website. I chose Aspen because I can go after work and its convenient to where I live. I'd called ahead of time to give them my insurance information and also had it filled out on the new patient forms I brought with me. I get there, wait a bit, and the hygienist brings me to the back. I make it clear I want to be told ahead of time for anything which would result in charges my insurance won't cover (the policy isn't in my name personally). They do some x-rays and then the dentist looks over my mouth. I am then sent to meet with the office manager who goes over what the cost would be to fill the cavities the dentist would like to address. I mention again about my insurance and that I cannot agree to any services today and would need to speak it over with the policy holder first. She gives me a paper of the breakdown to give them and I am on my way with an appointment scheduled for the following Tuesday for my cleaning at 5:30. I even got the phone call and email confirmations for this. I get there on the 14th and right at 5:15 as I am pulling in I get a call saying I missed my 5pm appointment. I explained my appointment was at 5:30 and they disagree. I was tired from work so I just re-scheduled to the 28th of June for 5:30. I get there, and there's no record of my appointment. Apparently the people at their call center can tell you that you're late for an appointment but they can't be bothered to enter one in. I tell the receptionist and she tells me it will be about a 30 minute wait but they can do the cleaning. This was at 5:10pm. I wait until 6:08 pm (because I am tired of re-scheduling a cleaning of all things) and they finally bring me back. The hygienist spends all of 15 minutes from checking my gums, polishing my teeth, flossing them, and rinsing them and I am sent home after they chose to schedule an appointment for me in January 2017. Not to mention she snapped the floss between my gums. I'm slightly annoyed at all of this but figure whatever, I just won't go back and will cancel the appointment for January. Come Friday July 1, and my husband tells me I have a $66 bill for x-rays which I never agreed to because I specifically told them that I didn't want any services that my insurance (Metlife) would not cover. My husband is under his own Metlife plan and received no such bill so either they listened to him and ignored me or they just chose to do services which were not requested. I try giving them a call at 4:30-ish Friday to receive no answer from their billing department so a message was left. I certainly hope this is a misunderstanding because the $66 bill was not agreed to by me. read more

do NOT waste your time here. This is a COMPANY owned by someone who is NOT a dentist. They are strictly out for profit and not for your wellbeing. They are ruining smaller dentists. First, they told me I had all these issues with my teeth that I didn't have, and then unknowingly took out $5,000 in credit for me to "pay off" these procedures I didn't even say I would have done. They never answer the phone and will not cancel the charges that were not done. They are trying to ruin a 19 year olds credit for profit. I was in town on business and needed some work done immediately. Was able to make an appointment same day which was accommodating. The office was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. Saw Dr. Shah who explained my issue in a lot of detail in a way that was easily understandable. She fixed my problem in under an hour and I was on my way. Quite visible. Many broken teeth and noone wanted to help me or take me as a patient. This lady was my last hope... An sh treated me like absolute garbage. Never spoke directly to me and didn't care to cause me more pain only to not help the pain i had already been in for months. I dont understand why people become drs to not help people... My daughter was led to believe she had cancer and that the treatment would be near $20,000 to treat. She had no insurance and low income so she resigned herself to just die and leave her three children without a mother. She was writing letters to her children for when they were older and would be experiencing life milestones that she would not be there for!! After seeking a second opinion, we found out that it WAS ALL LIES!! The dentist that gave her the second opinion was furious and stated that they hated Aspen Dental and we were not the first ones with such horror stories from them. I had a great experience there!! Everyone is so nice and you can tell they have fun with each other and their patients. Sure there was a bit of a wait, but that's kind of expected at any doctor's office so I try not to get bent out of shape about things like that. They have TVs in each of the rooms and so that's nice, and it sure beats staring at the wall like at some doctor's offices. I don't think you can expect to "have fun" going to the dentist, and sure, while I'd rather be doing other things, it's something that needs to be done. So, if I'm going to do it, I might as well go to a place where the staff is really fun and friendly, they enjoy what they're doing, and they make sure you're comfortable! Definitely will be back and definitely will recommend to family and friends. read more

I had my wisdom teeth removed at Aspen Dental, and it was great. The staff was super flexible with payments, and my oral surgeon was clear and thorough about the procedure. My surgery took about 40 minutes, and I was even given my surgeon's cell phone number. He followed up with me later on in the day to see how I was doing. I definitely recommend Aspen Dental. I plan on going back for my cleaning and cavity fillings. read more
