I've been going to Aspen Dental in Laveen for three years, and not once have I had a good experience. They constantly said I had a balance that was already paid, canceled and rescheduled appointments without notice, and showed zero concern for the inconvenience. Last week, I called to confirm my appointment while I was out of state for work. I even adjusted my flight to make it -- only to find out they canceled it without telling me. No voicemail, no email, no text, nothing. Meanwhile, I watched a first-time walk-in get a cleaning appointment -- the same service they canceled on me. Tiffany laughed while mispronouncing my name, and the office manager, Daniel Salcito, was just as careless and nonchalant. I asked to speak with the owner, David -- he was right there in the hallway -- and he refused to come out, even with me offering to wait. This office has shown nothing but disrespect and unprofessionalism. I wouldn't recommend Aspen Dental in Laveen to anyone. read more

I was skeptical of this place because of the reviews that I saw on Yelp and Google. They seemed a little too good to be true (and I've had several traumatic dental experiences). Making a first-time appointment is easy, and requires no communication with a staff member (as you do it all online) -- you can even print out the forms ahead of your appointment. The waiting area is typically empty, and never overbooked. I went in for a routine cleaning and exam, and the dental assistant was super kind, and helpful. She was patient, and explained what she was doing ahead of doing it. The hygenist, similarly, took her time to explain what tools she'd be using, the sounds they make, and what I could expect pain-wise. I also had to get a deeper cleaning and 2 wisdom teeth extractions. They worked with my scheduling timeline, and the office manager walked me through the pricing. The deep clean was relatively painless and quick (but it did require an additional follow-up appointment). And the wisdom tooth extraction was very, very quick. I chose to do it with local anesthesia and the surgeon and assistant were super patient, and communicative throughout the entire procedure. When I asked them if I could listen to music to distract myself/calm myself, they allowed me to, and when I asked them to repeat the follow-up care instructions to my guardian, they happily complied. All in all, I've had a pretty seamless experience. Everyone was accommodating and helpful. My only complaint is that they are more expensive than other dental offices, and I had to go to more appointments than I expected, but they were thorough and patient in every instance. read more

The practice is fine, except they keep trying to charge for fluoride that my insurance doesn't cover so I finally had to be a jerk and say I never want fluoride, how do I get fluoride completely off my account. Every time I have an appointment I get an email confirmation, a text confirmation, and a phone call confirmation. I asked why, if I've already confirmed through email, I have to keep confirming repeatedly and apparently the email and text doesn't actually work, so they always call. Instead of getting the email or text confirmations fixed, they just shrug and make sure to get an audible confirmation. This is obnoxious and I assume they're paying for the email and text confirmation services, so why have it if it doesn't work? read more

Wow oh wow! I went here before and during Covid and really enjoyed my experience. The front desk was so welcoming and the dentist was just the best. After falling off my pattern of going I finally added them back to my routine. I was shocked at how it went down hill. From the check in being very cold and not welcoming to the arrogant, self entitled doctor who clearly puts himself before patients. The wait time was almost an hour before I saw the dentist which is very abnormal from what I'm accustomed to. When the dentist finally came he had asked why it had been so long and I told him that life's busy but also it's not convienent that I can't book an appointment online and just call in. He legit says "Well I don't allow patients to dictate my time as they don't know what they need and what may be a quick appointment for them may be considerably longer" I bit my tongue from what I wanted to say to him but here the the thing: 1) no patient is going to be in your office all day unless it's pre-planned as they have to agree to what you want to do 2) a general clean should be a set time 3) it doesn't hurt to add at least 3-5 set times for regular clients The kicker was when he told me I had too much gums showing and he could quickly laser it away. I was shocked by his comment as I have never been told this by a dentist and it didn't really shock me despite me saying so because this dentist was the most vain one I have met. We took my son there for a cleaning and a filling in January. They required payment up front before they would even let us schedule the appointment. They overbilled me by $95 and 9 months later I am still arguing trying to get this money back. I paid for it on my flexible spending card and at this point it's just theft and fraud. I have spent so much time on the phone trying to get it refunded. The last time, they told me a check was mailed 9/11. It's now 10/12 and we haven't received anything. I thought that it was a lie though because when he first pulled up the account it showed we had a credit balance. If they mailed the check, it would be a zero balance. read more

Myself and my wife had the worst experience ever going to Aspen dental. Horrible service and staff. Management inconsistencies and turnover to include change in dentist just 1 of many examples of a horrible organization. Overpriced compare to other dentists. Dental procedure for my wife kept getting delayed which added more frustration as we waited what seemed like forever to get her crown in. To add frustration, no one in the office answers their phone or returns voice mails. I do not recommend this dental office to anyone. read more

When you are a first time patient ... this place is amazing, it's after you've given them thousands of dollars for your dentures that they Never answer during regular business hours. My dad has been in pain, unable to eat and unable to get the follow up care that we paid for. I paid cash, a lot of it and I'be been trying to call for two days, no answer!!! This isn't the first time either, my dad has only has dentures for may a month and he was so excited...not anymore...he's been suffering since. read more

Went to Aspen Dental after my wife had an amazing visit, I went in with high hopes and my experience was totally different. I went in with my dental insurance information and the person working the front desk was less that thrilled to help me. I shrugged it off and made an appointment for the following day, I showed up 10 minutes early and with an open mind, I checked in and the office manager was on the phone so I waited the 10 minutes it took for her to check me in. Then I waited another 50 minutes, after that I cancelled my appointment the whole situation was the exact opposite of what my wife experienced. read more

Sam, the dental hygienist, was excellent! She was very friendly and professional. She did an awesome job cleaning my teeth and giving me educational tips and information. Very down to earth and great bedside manners. I highly recommend this office. It has a small town, and personal type of feel, with the big city benefits and experience. read more

I was going to a great dentist in Mesa, but I live on the west side and now with working from home I wanted to go to a dentist closer to home. My fiancé came here and had a good experience so I thought I'd give it a try too. I have TMJ, 3 crowns, 1 root canal, countless cavities and I grind my teeth at night... my mouth is kind of a hot mess. I had a great experience here. The staff was very friendly and the hygienist and dentist were both amazing and knowledgeable. Just be warned if you are a new patient and scheduling online your appointment will only be a consultation. Luckily there was a cancellation after me so I was able to get my teeth cleaned, but if you are a new patient I would recommend calling to schedule your first appointment. Clean office, friendly staff, thorough cleaning and attentive staff. I'll be coming back here again in 6 months for my next cleaning! read more

I honestly don't typically leave reviews, but my experience at Aspen was so fantastic, I just had to leave one. They scheduled appts for my entire family within one week of my initial call. We all needed an exam and cleaning and they explained first time visits can't typically accommodate a cleaning, but they would try their best to complete the cleanings during that visit. Not only did they get us in within a few minutes of our arrival, they were also able to get our cleanings completed during that first visit!! The staff was fantastic from the front office, to the practice manager....and my technician Chris was really amazing. I can't speak highly enough about this office, the dentist, and entire team!! The actual office visit on 8/11/22 was great but when I called back to follow up on 8/17/22, the assistant manager was extremely rude. I was told on the day of my appointment I would be contacted about my treatment plan and payments because they had another consultation to take care of at the time. That contact never happened. I called once and left a message, I received no call back. I called again today to follow up only to be treated as if I was an inconvenience. It was like pulling teeth to get the assistant manager to fully answer questions about my treatment. She was short , and half explaining everything I was asking. I had to continually probe to ensure I got all the information I needed. I cannot remember her name, I was so upset at how dismissive she was. But she has no professionalism whatsoever and should not be the voice of the business as any level manager. I called back to ask about how would I complain about her behavior, I was told I would get a survey. I ended up finding the contact information for the regional manager. I reached out and left a voicemail and I still haven't received a call back. Strongly considering just taking my business elsewhere. read more

I don't know who said "no one cares what you know unless they know that you care".. These people CARE!...I neglected going to the dentist for years and when it finally caught up with me I am so Glad I found Aspen Dental in Laveen AZ. Everyone I was in contact with is over and above the top and truly care about the patient. An excellent support staff who made me feel comfortable during a difficult experience and I thank you. Dr. Dositej Stulic is a excellent dentist that was straight up and didn't tell me what I wanted to hear yet told me what I needed to know and I thank you. Dr Chase Andreason is the oral surgeon who removed some teeth as painlessly as possible. I was not a easy case as I had a wisdom tooth impacted yet with Dr. Chase used his excellent skill set and got the job done with as little pain as possible. Always concerned with how I was feeling and I appreciate his tremendous care and I thank you. Brianna Head is the office manager who did everything she could to help me find ways to pay for the services I needed. I got involved in discount health plan and she called them and other dental insurance I have to get the best possible price possible. I wondered at times if she was working for Aspen Dental or me as she help save me a lot of money. She was so kind to explain the services and procedures to me more than once till i understood all that is going on and I thank you. Aspen Dental of Laveen, AZ has a tremendous skill set yet they care even more.
