My crown fell out three times! Dr. Scarso said they would make a new one after it fell out once, but only stuck it back in. He spent all of 2 minutes and never removed all the glue around it! When we confronted him the 3rd time, he displayed a threatening attitude towards us. Heard Aspen employees fighting with several other patients. Worst company in the country! I had a procedure done and they said that they would call in 3 prescriptions. Made multiple attempts to get the prescriptions called in over the next 4 days. The prescriptions were never called in and I had to go to med express to get what was needed. It has taken a lot longer to heal because they could not do their job correctly. I would give them zero stars if it would let me. I will never use their service again and I will tell everyone about how bad they are. read more

Worst dentist office in Ashtabula county! They only care about over charging you and not giving you proper care and treatment. They did not a root canal that was not needed and caused me to lose my tooth and lie and deny everything. Katie shields in the office is condescending and rude. I am writing this review so others don't go through what I have. i don't recommend this office in Ashtabula Ohio and I especially don't recommend going here if it's been awhile since you've seen a dentist and don't have any clue of what your treatment plan might look like if you need one... one thing this office focuses on is what your bill comes to.. I was given 3 different dental exams. including a pariodontal cleaning that was almost $2,000. I was given a different treatment plan at each apt. I spoke with the operations manager Katie more than I spoke with my own doctor, so with that being said at the end of it all the doctor gave me an ultimatum. he told me I had severe pariodontal disease, and that all of my teeth were decaying and that if I didn't want to do all my top teeth in one single apt and then all of my bottom teeth in the next that he wouldn't be willing to do the work at all... him telling me I have pariodontal disease, and need 8 root canals, and needed crowns on almost all my teeth scared me because I haven't been to the dentist in so long. i almost went with his plan and killed half the teeth in my mouth.... I have found a NEW family dentist that is so respectful, and thorough, and has confirmed for me. I do NOT have pariodontal disease, and I don't need even ONE root canal. I have minor cavities that need fillings and a few major cavities that will need crowns, but I am in shock knowing i was given false information from the doctor at aspen about my own health.... my heart goes out to anyone who has been to aspen... go with your gut, and ask questions, and never fear seeking a second opinion from a different dentist!!!!!! read more

This response is for Buck. If you ever need a tooth pulled in urgent situatio, go to Peach Street Dental and Dentures in Erie, Pa. Was took right in as a walk in and was out in less than and hour with my issue resolved (like x-ray and tooth pulled or filled) and they were not terribly priced for cash payers and also take several insurances. I'd have to agree Aspen's prices are at the top of any dentists in my area and do not accommodat. My daughter wanted a cleaning and they even wanted her to go through hoops of others gingival treatments prior. She went elsewhere and got her cleaning and they addressed her enamel issues same day. Step it up Aspen...you are getting left behind. read more

This place is a joke. I went in with a severe toothache. They said the tooth needed pulled, but instead of pulling it, they said I needed to go over my "plan" for all of my teeth. Horrible experience. They were all very nice and worked hard to fit my teeth, until I commented to Doctor that the teeth were off center. The doctor seemed angry and told me my nose is crooked!! I really disliked the 2000$ teeth, they were very small teeth and off center. I wish i would not have accepted teeth. He was not willing to change them. So they sit in my bathroom unused, they are to ugly and off centered to wear. Ill never go back there!!! 2000$ teeth!! Later entry: I called the number below, they were letting regional manager know. Regional manager to call me back. Will update results. Regional manager did call me back and set up an appointment to look at dentures. I have seriously made these lovely peoples lives ao much more difficult. I feel so bad. Between scheduling around our issues, and time restraints, this office staff is THE BEST dental office Ive ever worked with. The Lovely lady doing the x-rays (never fun) was unbelievably quick and efficient. We move from state to state every month and with Aspen Dental we are able to get all of our files and everything transfered over. No more unnecessary printouts of xrays to carry around with us. No more redoing xrays or starting over with new care. I cannot overstate my happiness with finding this group. Well done! In my 25 years I can confidently say that I have never had a better dental experience in my life than I've had at this office. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff members who set me up as a new patient right away. I went in for a wisdom tooth consultation and since they had an open schedule, they were able to perform the extraction immediately. They also found that I had early stage gingivitis, something my previous dentist did not detect within the past year. The doctor and assistant did a fantastic job of explaining my x-rays to me and I walked out of the office within 2 hours with a painless wisdom tooth extraction as well as a deeper understanding of my dental health. I was surprised that my wound healed within 2 days, just as the doctor had said, with minimal pain and swelling. The Dental Hygienist was very nice and very kind which is the only reason I'm giving any stars. She talked to me and helped calm my nerves. However, the office itself is over charging and just being misleading and shady in general. Everything is an up-charge. Paid for a deep cleaning and then was told I need to come back for a second time for it to be complete for another 68$?? I don't think so. Should've completed it the first go around. Got my wisdom teeth out and got charged for 45 minutes of anesthesia even though I was only out for a little over 30 minutes. Got charged for 15 extra minutes when the dentist used 2 extra minutes. Ridiculous and absurd. When talking on the phone the receptionist was not very nice and was talking over me. read more

I am beyond pleased with my experience at Aspen Dental. I did not have to wait to be seen nor taken in the back. I had two cavities filled/fixed and I am pleased with how much better my teeth feel. I have been to other dentists and have had to go back because of pain or an off bite from the filling. Dental assistant Ally was very attentive and making sure I was comfortable while I waited for the anesthetic to kick in and very helpful with my fillings. I don't normally rate businesses but with this one I have too. I have called the last 2 times to discuss my account with the new accountant that has taken over in this particular branch and she has been nothing but argumentative on the phone. I have no idea what happened with the last accountant who was wonderful, pleasant, and helpful but this latest chick is very rude and argued about what her screen said versus what my actual paperwork in front of me reads! Her go to was contact your insurance company rather than accepting the paperwork in my hand and contacting the company herself. Was pleased with this office until the last 2 weeks. WILL NOT BE RETURNING!! I would rather drive 35-45 minutes in the opposite direction! read more

I recently had some work done at the Ashtabula Aspen Dental. I had a filling done to cover an ugly abrasion that was ruining my smile. Dr. Morrison and his assistant Jackie were incredibly friendly and professional. They took good care of me during my visit. The results are outstanding.
