The Truth about Aspect - Meaningless Guarantees, Broken Promises, False Claims of Concern, Misleading Statements of Standards
In my experience, Aspect is worse than a company that provides poor service. Aspect clearly knows how to describe quality services and knows what statements and promises potential customers look for. When problems arise, Arise knows how to express concern that their "usual" quality standards have been met. They give "guarantees" about the service provided and service expectations. They make are statements about the standards they meet and providing peace of mind. They claim never to over-promise.
But, they don't know live up to their promises, their standards, their guarantees or even their claims of concern. They know what they should provide and what they promise to provide. They just don't deliver.
I recently posted a review about the problems I had after my well-intentioned landlord hired Aspect to carry out some roofing repairs. While the roof was adequately repaired in the review I described how everything else about dealing with Aspect was a problem.
I described the problem when the scaffolding Aspect erected with a huge "Aspect" sign was left in place for weeks after the job was complete, long after it was reasonable that it should have been removed. The scaffolding was only finally taken down after pointed, then annoyed, then angry messages were left demanding its removal.
I described the struggle when Aspect left a large pile of debris covering the front garden of the property, and despite assurances that the mound of debris would be removed shortly after the scaffolding was removed nothing was done for weeks. Despite repeated requests by my landlord, Aspect left the debris so long that it became a neighbourhood tip, an eyesore and a health hazard. Eventually, my landlord incurred the cost of having the debris removed by a private contractor, as Aspect failed to respond and refused to clear up the mess they left behind.
I described the careless actions and uncaring attitude of Aspect. Aspect damaged the building when erecting their scaffolding, disconnected fittings and failed to reconnect them despite repeated requests to do so. They managed to disturb and apparently dislodge a wasp's nest, which resulted in my second floor flat being infested with wasps. As a result, I was repeatedly stung by the angry wasps, and I am now required to incur the additional expense of having the wasp nest removed as a result of Aspect's clumsy and careless behaviour.
Aspect responded to the review I posted, and their response confirmed all of the points which I have raised. They admitted that they were aware of the problems caused by their work. They also admitted that they had failed to deal with these problems. They were also aware that the problems had been brought to their attention and that despite their knowledge of the problems and that the problems had been raised with them, they had done nothing.
In the response of Aspect they claimed they wanted to resolve the problems that had been raised so I responded to Aspect twice in an effort to take them up on their claim. Aspect done nothing to respond to me and has just gone silent.
When the actions and responses of Aspect are considered, my experience has been:
- The Aspect Guarantee - UNDEPENDABLE
- Aspect's promises of service support - BROKEN
- Aspect's claims about customer support - MEANINGLESS
- Aspect's assurance of peace of mind - MISLEADING
- Aspect's claims of concern - ARTIFICIAL
- Aspect's service standards - POINTLESS
The real problem with Aspect is not just their deficient performance and service failures. It is the fact that they know what standards should be met and promise to meet those standards and fix problems when they arise, when they clearly have no intention of doing so.
Their failures are therefore deliberate.
