He was polite, friendly and seemed knowledgable, however he did little more than check the flow rate, give the insides a quick clean and tell me I needed a new boiler, then charge me over 100 pounds for the pleasure. I shall update this review once I have had a second opinion on the boiler situation! I was aware of the hourly rate beforehand. EDIT I do need a new boiler. they are comming to fit one soon, have added another star for their efficient diagnosis... will review again once they have fitted the new boiler.

He also thoroughly explained how he would fix it. Very shortly after that, Stephen and his team came back to install a new boiler in our flat. A and A Plumbing are located in Newport Road but i hadnt even seen their premises when i used their…read moreservices last year - instead id asked around friends and these people were recommended by a good friend at the time. I was hesitant in contacting them, given the reputation of some plumbers, but im really glad that i used their services. They got back to me promptly after i left my details on their answerphone, and popped around the next day to look at what i needed doing and promptly gave me a firm quote for the works in my bathroom. I had to wait three weeks before they could fit me in, but i was reassured by the fact that they had plenty of other customers! They turned up as promised at the correct time and the work on the bathroom was carried out in a short time, and with little or no mess or disturabance. There were no long tea breaks, courteous and efficient workers and i had no problems with their work at all. I hope my experience is typical for their work, and i would recommend them to others without any hesitation.
