Ask for Cyndi or Caleb and you will not be disappointed. I went in to have jewelery repaired and Cyndi was able to help me pick out two additional chains to wear with my newly acquired pendants. Cyndi was incredibly patient and did an excellent job of teaching me all the different qualities of the bracelets and chains. She was able to help me identify a good style, size and material. Just as promised, they reached out as soon as they finished sizing and polishing my pieces. I am thrilled to have found such a wonderful local jewelry store with an extremely knowledgeable staff! read more

We went in and received a friendly welcome. The jeweler told us about all the upcoming events in the area. She cleaned my wife's engagement ring. She also checked a stone we had to verify whether or not it was a diamond. No charge We will definitely do business with them in the future. read more

My experience with Askew Jewelers was excellent. They repaired a ring my wife has. It was not in condition where she could wear it. They made it like new again. I also bought my wife a bracelet there. My wife didn't like it. We went back and they gave us credit for another bracelet my wife liked. This is a family business. I like to support local businesses. I will go there again. read more

I really support this family business and encourage anyone to do the same. If you want honesty, integrity, and great work, visit Askew Jewelers. Patty Reber Customer read more

So first impression Mr Dave was very helpful and knowledge over the phone. I initially swung thru on a day but they were closed. The shop is located down New York Ave right down from city hall. Finally made it there on a Monday. A nice lady helped me until Mr. Dave came and took over in assisting me. I told him my issues with my watches and he told me he would have it resolved in about 15 minutes. One of the watches I had the wrong band but my favorite watch, he got it going again. I was so happy so now anytime I need batteries or what not for my watches I will definitely come back. read more

My aquamarine and diamond ring had a broken shank [is that the right word?] and the pieces had moved apart and pinched at the back. I was leery of trusting my local [Palm Beach County] jewelers after a friend had a bad experience a couple years ago, so I asked my daughter to take my ring in for repair at Askew's, as she'd been very happy doing business with them. I just got my ring back after barely a week and it's perfect again! The charge was reasonable, it looks terrific and the repair is undetectable. I'm very pleased. read more

I read wonderful reviews so had to stop in for some jewelry repair. I totally recommend this store. I love it! Cindy is so nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. They offered to clean other jewelry I had on too. Their receipts have pictures of what you left so both parties remember. Very good prices and quality gems. I may collect old gold and return for something to be made. Please do yourself a favor and see them for any jewelry needs. You'll be HAPPY ! read more

I had a ring that needed repair. Went locally to 2 reputable jewelers in Seattle, both said it could not be repaired. I went on Goggle to see if I could find out about my unusual ring. It was designed by Craig Drake and is called "the mystery ring". It opens and has an inner ring that says "I Love You". That company is no longer in business, but Google led me to Jewelers Repair and Design studio in St. Cloud Florida and Dave Askew. Dave recommended a local Jeweler which would save me shipping it to him in Florida. My ring is now repaired, and I so appreciate Dave's suggesting this jeweler to me. read more

I had the best experience! Went into the shop on Tuesday night to see about getting some work done on my new engagement ring. Super friendly staff and reasonable pricing. I brought my ring back in the next morning and after a few hours they called and said it was ready. I was overcome with joy and excitement to get my ring back so quick and the work on it was truly beautiful. Definitely will be a returning customer! :) read more

If jewelry design or expert, timely repair is what you need, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! Cyndi was very attentive during the phone call that basically set the ball rollin re a couple of 14k pieces for a revamp/new design. She cared. She wasn't in a hurry to hang up. Just great. Refreshing in this day and age! Dave came over to the counter where Cyndi and I were getting the paperwork started for the revamping of a diamond stud I've had and I wanted to get the post changed to a "Screw Back" design. After showing Dave another piece that I wear around my neck, I told him that I always wanted so-and-so to be a different way than the way I've tolerated it for years. Dave asked to see the chain and the Anchor charm in question. He asked me if I wanted it to be the way I was describing the change to him and - boom, in 30 seconds he laser tacked it in place just to see if I liked it. Dave said if I decided that if I liked it the way he temporarily tacked it, he'd tack it heavily to where it would hold forever. Trust me, THESE are the kind of folks you want to be doing business with! :)) read more

Looking for an expert? I was and found Dave Askew. He has done some beautiful designs and is very reliable. Brilliant jeweler!

I went in to do a simple battery change on 2 watches. After the batteries were replaced both watches stopped working. I took one of them to someone else to see what happened. I work in coolers sometimes, Dave Askew did not use any sealant on my watches when he replaced the battery and moisture got inside. I brought my watch to what I thought was a professional because I wanted to avoid damage to my more expensive pieces. I could have went to the flea market and they would have taken better care of me. read more

They are absolutely amazing!!!!! Dave is excellent and gifted in his craft, and he really educated me on my options. I truly appreciate their help with my engagement ring and if anyone needs a repair for their jewelry, I highly suggest you to give Dave and Cindy a visit. read more

Dave is absolutely incredible. About 4 years back my dad took me there to have Dave do my high school class ring. After looking at everything on display in the shop, I realized how much I WOULDN'T wear a class ring, and how long I would wear just a normal ring with my birthstone in it. Long story short, Dave ended up creating a BEAUTIFUL silver ring, with a decent sized peridot right in the middle. Fast forward three months later, and my perfect ring had bent all out of shape, and it looked like an oval with some dents in it when I took it off. When I brought it back to Dave, he was awesome. He made me a brand new ring, with a stronger silver material, and it hasn't changed shape since! Every once in awhile, I'll stop by the shop when I'm downtown, and Dave will buff out and shine my ring for me while we catch up on conversation. I've also bought a few chains from Dave's shop and they haven't disappointed! read more

Dave Askew, Cindy, and Dave's Mom are part of the trio at Dave Askew Jewelers Studio. We are new to the FLorida area and Dave was recommended to us by a cousin who lives in St. Cloud. Dave has helped us out on several occasions now, and I have never dealt with a jeweler with more integrity than Dave and his staff had. When an aunt of one passed away, Dave bought some of her jewelry. I was astounded at the price. I didn't have a clue, and he could have told me anything. My son's friend had a broken engagement, and once again, it was Dave to the rescue. He has done appraisals, cleaned jewelry, you name it. If you are looking for someone who can do it all, from creating and designing a piece of jewelry, to buying your old jewelry, stop in and see Dave and his staff, you won't be disappointed, and you can trust that he is honest to a fault. So glad we stumbled upon this little gem of a shop in downtown St. Cloud. read more

Several weeks ago I went into Askew Jewelers to get advice on some work that I would like done on my ring. I was unsure if it was possible. At that time Mr. Askew indicated that he was able to do the work. After purchasing a loose stone, I returned to the store to have the work done. Mr. Askew now stated that he will "have to pass on doing the work". I made a purchased based on his expertise and now he does not want to do the work. The stone I purchased based on his recommendation is non-refundable and now I am out $700. Very sad. Pick another jeweler, this one can not be trusted. read more

I was new to the area and 3 people told me about this store. My wife's ring needed some major repair and she wasn't wearing it because we thought the stone was coming out. I was a little worried about just leaving it with anyone. After seeing some custom designs they did i wasn't so worried about the repair being done right. They showed me my ring under a microscope and I could see it on a large tv. I could see what they were going to fix, live! It was done by the end of the week and looked great. I would recommend this place to everyone with a jewelry repair. read more
