I'd asked about selling it and they would only give me $400 (hmmm - no brainer). I decided to solder it instead. I'm advising you, the consumer, to shop around on better gold prices if you're selling. Additionally, I was looking to replace the wedding band that my husband lost with a gold and diamond ring. We found one that was nice and similar. The cost was approximately $800. The receipt stated that it was a 14 karat gold and diamond ring. When I home I looked through a loop that I have and the ring was not stamped anywhere. I believe the law mandates all jewelry needs to be marked. I returned the ring to advise that I have no idea what Kt this ring is. The sales woman told me it's right on the receipt, it's 14kt. I stated it may be on the receipt but it's not in the ring. She took the ring to the office where the jeweler was and how ironic he said return the money even though the receipt states "no returns for money only store credit". Just advising, if you do business with this company, please check your product while you are there.

They have a large selection of guns, new and used at great prices. The staff is always ready and willing to answer your questions, but that isn't the best thing addisons has to offer. You can sign up for their classes. There is a fee and you must have a drivers license or state issued id. The class I took was the Basic Pistol Handling and Gun Safety Course. It's the class you must take before applying for your concealled permit. You can take the class for gun saftey alone, it's a stand alone class, you don't have to apply for the permit if you don't want to. The Instructor, John Lassiter, is phenominal. He's a great teacher, but he's also very entertaining to listen too. I had fun learning about guns and gun safety. I would encourage anyone with a gun in their home to take his class. The class will take about 4 hours, with a break inbetween. You get to handle different types of pistols and semi automatics and after the class you will shoot a pistol at a target to pass the class using all the knowledge you have gained during the 4 hours. It was a fun experience and I no longer feel uncomfortable around a gun because I know how to handle one and be safe with it.

Shortly after placing it on layaway, I had to unexpectedly travel back to Ohio due to a family situation. Because of these circumstances, I missed the 90-day layaway deadline. I explained my situation to the staff at The Armory, and I was told that there would be no problem. I continued making monthly payments toward the firearm, believing that my layaway agreement was still in good standing. When I eventually went to pick up the firearm, I was informed that it had been removed from my layaway. What was most disappointing was that no one contacted me to let me know that the firearm had been removed or that there was an issue with my layaway. Had I received a simple phone call, I could have discussed the situation with the store and considered other options. I specifically wanted that particular firearm, and by the time I learned what had happened, it was no longer available. I was also informed that I could not receive a full refund because of a 20% restocking fee based on the original price of the firearm. I understand that businesses have policies and that layaway agreements may have deadlines. However, I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled. I continued making payments after explaining my circumstances to the store, and I was never notified that the firearm had been removed from my layaway. I believe that a simple phone call explaining that the firearm was being removed and discussing my options would have been a much more reasonable and customer-friendly approach.
