Great experience with filing my tax returns. Been going to the firm for a few years now and it's…read morealways been a good experience. My return isn't super straightforward, there are kids, houses, investments (domestic and international), + a few other random things and it's been such a straightforward process. Answer a survey. Provide the documentation. Everything is handled. The team is also very responsive and willing to hop on calls if I need to talk through anything. Will definitely continue to go to them for my accounting needs, including any things beyond my tax returns that might pop up. Pricing is incredibly fair and honestly a great value at the price point.

I've been a client of Dimov Tax for nearly 10 years, but my recent experience has been extremely…read moredisappointing. During the past five years, I've noticed a clear shift in how the firm operates--communication has declined, staff turnover has increased, and overall service quality has dropped. After paying nearly $1,800 upfront for my 2025 business and personal tax returns, I experienced over a month of delays with little to no clear communication. Despite multiple follow-ups, I was repeatedly asked for information I had already provided, which showed a lack of internal coordination. On top of that, I was asked to sign an engagement letter late in the process, which was not properly delivered or explained. As a client of nearly 10 years, it made no sense to receive a generic engagement letter outlining services I've long been familiar with. There also appears to be a high turnover of staff. I was reassigned multiple times, and each new person seemed unfamiliar with my account, leading to redundant questions and confusion about my LLC structure. It felt like I had to restart the process repeatedly. It's also extremely difficult to get George Dimov on the phone, and emails often go unanswered. At this point, he comes across as an absentee owner, with much of the work seemingly outsourced to staff abroad who are not aligned or familiar with long-term clients. For a firm handling time-sensitive financial matters, that level of disconnect is frustrating. Even more concerning, there was a separate incident involving a former employee, Bob Liu, who went rogue and took client information, including mine. He processed one of my tax returns independently, and to this day I have never received a copy of that return. I had to notify George myself, as he was not aware of the situation. This directly impacted me by delaying a construction loan process I was pursuing with a bank. Most recently, after having over three months to prepare my returns, the firm still filed my tax return incorrectly. That was the final straw for me, and I ultimately decided to terminate my relationship with them. I also ended my payroll services with them. Despite paying $100 per month automatically for 38 months, they claimed I owed an "outstanding balance of $5,700 for 38 months of services." This was completely false, as I have proof of every payment. This situation highlights the disorganization of the firm and the constant turnover of staff who clearly are not aligned or aware of long-term client accounts. Overall, I can no longer recommend this firm, especially for clients with multiple entities or complex tax situations. P.S. The reviews here feel misleading. I've noticed that the owner is quick to respond publicly to reviews, yet does not follow up with his actual clients. If you're considering working with this firm, feel free to reach out to me--I'd be happy to discuss my experience further and share supporting documentation. As a result of the delays and mishandling of my account, I was also charged a late-filing penalty by the IRS.

I only used him again this year because I had to finish the complicated estate filings (I did my personal taxes with someone else who was much easier to work with and just as competant). Every time I have a question for Mr. Woloshen he gives the shortest most unhelpful answer he possibly can seemingly to only make your life more difficult. He charges top dollar for unfriendly, marginal service. There are far too many CPAs in NYC out there to tolerate such behavior. Go somewhere else. He clearly needs less work if he doesn't have time to be helpful to his paying clients.

I came across Bob on google and upon consulting, I knew he was the right person for me. Bob is the best! He has handled my taxes since 2013 and has done a phenomenal job every year for my small business and personal. I am very confident with my financials in his hands. He and his team are very prompt and responsive. I've gotten general questions answered via email with no charge. I expect my accountant to be knowledgable, honest, and helpful. His prices are competitive and his service is no BS. He gets it done, and gets it done right.

The process is always straightforward, easy, and handled with professionalism and care. Jimmy takes the time to answer any questions I have during the filing process and is always responsive to questions that come up throughout the year afterward. If anyone ever asks me for a CPA recommendation, he's the first person I refer.

Filing taxes is a nightmare…read more When I first started working, I would give my tax returns to my parents and they would bring it to their accountant. It would take about 3 weeks or so from handing it off to receiving it back to sign before mailing them to the IRS. Yes, it was snail mail back in the days. Fast forward 10 years or so, moving out and buying my own place, I thought it was be best to find my own accountant rather than having to have my parents do it on my behalf. I was introduced to an accountant through a family member, and he was nice but also very inconvenient. I had to get a ride to get to him and all. It wasn't cheap (at that time) And then there was turbo tax. I was like, wow, this is great, I can file my own taxes and it's cheaper. So I started using turbo tax regularly and it was great. Until one year, I was audited. I was embarrassed and had no one to talk to or ask about it. It wasn't a hefty amount but the fact that I was audited, that was not cool. I paid it and continue to use turbo tax, and each year the questions became more and also more complex. Sorry, I don't know finance terms or anything like that. So I answered it to the best of my knowledge. And then one year, I owed money. I was floored, like how? Embarrassed once again but paid it. So then I decided, I need to find a real actual accountant to talk to. I do not want to owe money and I certainly do no know what was wrong with my taxes. I came across Fast Tax Accounting, located in the heart of Flushing and decided to give him a call. I told him how I owed money to the IRS and I did not know why. He reviews my tax returns and he knew right away what I was doing incorrectly. He instructed me how to correct it, and now I am back to getting a refund once again. THANK YOU JIMMY. So if you are in the market for an accountant, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Jimmy is also young, so he will outlive me, so if you are looking for a long term accountant, he's the one. Also, the price for an accountant wasn't much more than what I was paying using turbo tax. I rather pay the extra to avoid mistakes and the headache of trying to answer all those questions.
