We reached out to Voy Media to help us with our ads. They did not guarantee a result but they told us they expect 2-3 ROI. They started with 1700$ a month for a spend of $3000 a month. The ads had many mistakes that we told them to fix. They had very basic understanding of our business despite asking us to fill 4 pages of questions. The ads to no surprise performed horribly and we lost most of the ad money in addition to their hefty fee. Because we did not want to continue the drain of the money, we wanted to leave. Initially they told us they agree to a guarantee of result (we get our money back if the ads don't perform over the cost of the ad and their fee). However, after they discussed with the team, they DISCOVERED that our company will not perform well with the ads and they discounted the price to $700 (when we first reached out to them the price was 3000). However, we were smart enough to leave. If VOY Media did not believe that our company will succeed in ads, why did they tell us they can do 2-3x ROI?! But when it came to them risking the money, they did their homework and realized they don't wanna take the risk! So messed up! After we left them, we started learning ads ourselves and did not use a single thing they did and now we get around 7-8x on return. At first we liked everything they had to say, but then they decided to raise their prices to 5k minimum and it was just to expensive for what they were offering. KEVIN is the owner and we spoke to him most of the time. He said he didn't want to waste anyone's time but what about the 2 months that he wasted of our time. What a bad way of doing business. So, I personally have had an awesome and profitable ongoing experience with Voy, as a current client. One their media buyers, Carlos is a pleasure to work with. The first two months went okay (I was losing money on the ads and had less of an ROI than myself, but that's another issue). After I sent the check for month #3 my emails suddenly went unanswered. Later I was told that my media buyer left because of an emergency (this came not long after the assigned Creative Director got another job). The replacements were eager to speak with me, but like the previous person my emails thereafter went unanswered. Worse, the requested changes on FB weren't even made, which probably would have taken them 20 minutes! I was rudderless for a month while FB kept billing me for ads. Voy Media is effective. What I care about are implementing new Facebook Ad strategies, reporting, optimizing the ads, and they do each of these well. Our cost per purchase dropped between 30% - 50%, which is the main thing I care about. Our conversions were for purchases to our e-commerce store. I'm really wondering if something changed within their company because the positive reviews here were not at all representative to our experience. This company spent over 20k on Facebook without any return. After working with Voy, my ad costs increased by 8x. Whats worse is they increased my costs by 2x? No. In fact, the results barely reached the same metrics I achieved on my own (and keep in mind that I am no "Facebook ads expert"). After 2 months of running highly costly ads that saw TERRIBLE CONVERSIONS, we finally stopped the ads because I so happened to look at my ads account to notice that some ads were spending close to $100 to convert a single customer on a product that was about $12. I will say the first few months seemed promising. But after that, everything went down hill when it came time for the rubber to meet the road. Also, there was an issue that came up where the Facebook Pixel stopped tracking purchases (which is crucial for optimizing!). Not only did it take a FULL 31 DAYS TO ADDRESS... at the end of it all, they didn't even manage to fix it. Thankfully I was able to get all my money back from them. But I was not able to get the money back from the amount spent on terribly converting Facebook ads, I was also not able to get back the time wasted where I could have just done some self education myself to do a better job. read more

One word. DON'T. Besides the fact that they literally copy and pasted a well-known firms website onto their own and changed the logo, they are horrible to try and work with. I scheduled a meeting with them while I was overseas, and told them we would have to use skype. No problem they said. An hour past our meeting time I get an email they couldn't find me on skype. I said no problem give me your phone number and I can call you. No answer. Strike one, you just go MIA at the time of a meeting, and don't respond? A week later they reach out asking for another meeting time, no explanation as to why they behaved so unprofessionally. I said ok let's give it another shot. They wanted to have the convo in 2 weeks because Kevin was on vacation; strike two. Your business completely shuts down when one person is out of office? What would happen if you were running my campaign? What really angered me was once we got on the phone their price structure was completely different that what was advertised. On the website they said the management fees were 5%-20% of ad spending. On the phone I was told I would need to pay $2000 for a setup fee for my facebook pixel (which by the way was already set up, so why the charge?) they would then take $300 a month, plus 30% of the ad spending. Save your time and don't bother interviewing them for the job, there are much more professional companies out there with better skills. read more
