I was forced to take nearly 3 weeks off in the middle of my training. The excuse is that they didn't have instructors. I had five instructors in as many weeks... Most of whom were mediocre at best. I can't say that I had one good instructor but I only got to spend one day with him. No surprise that when I took my test after taking a week and a half off in between I failed. Then I rescheduled my test had to wait 2 1/2 weeks and it was only given one hour to brush up on my skills before I failed the second time last night. They contacted me to let me know that they had dropped me from their program! Unbelievable! This has been a terrible experience from day one and now I am left out in the cold to try and find a truck that I can test with on my own. Mind you I am cash pay and they offer no assistance in this regard at all. I cannot emphasize this enough... Do not do business with this company. I've never seen an operation run so poorly in my life. Terrible terrible. Terrible.

UPDATE AFTER SHOP OWNER RESPONSE…read more Nice try. I brought it back 7 days later with the receipt and was treated poorly. The saleswoman brought it back to the owner who refused. I tried to reason with them for a return or.credit and was denied this simple courtesy. Pretending to be courteous here doesn't change the review or my opinion of your shop. I would advise anyone to skip this shop. - - - - I purchased about $100 worth of fabric and notions a couple of weeks ago. I bought a seam ripper, too. I paid about $11 for it. When I got it home and took it out of the package I found that the point of it was dull, chipped, and it didn't work. I took it back with my receipt and was told that since I had taken it out of the package they couldn't resell it, so no refund or exchange. Wow. Obviously they don't want return business. Just imagine how you get treated if you buy a sewing machine from them and have a problem. It never occurred to me that a business would care so little about customers. Obviously I'll be shopping at the Fig Leaf instead, where they are friendly and make customers feel welcome and appreciated.

Something horrible has changed at this business in the past year. Never going back again. I got…read moremy hair trimmed in July & September. I've used this business since the 90's with no problems. In July 2026 I had to tell the young lady several times to cut it shorter. A teacher never came over to check the person's work. When I got home a family member look at my hair. The left side was about an inch shorter than the right. In September 2026 once again a teacher never checked the work. My hair looked like a 5 year old had gotten ahold of it. It was only supposed to be a trim. It ended up: trim and styling from 10 o'clock until 12. The lady kept moving my chair so I couldn't see what she was doing. The lady kept putting gel and spray in my hair and using the hot curling iron and HOT blow dryer. I went home and washed my hair 3 times before getting my scalp & hair clean. My hair was maybe 1/8 inch shorter before my cut. It's still in my eyes.

I am writing as a concerned parent and long-time member of the Boys & Girls Club community. I am…read moreintentionally remaining anonymous because I am concerned that identifying myself could result in my child being treated differently or facing retaliation after I bring these concerns forward. My child has attended the Club for multiple years, and I have always believed in the importance of the services and opportunities the Club provides to children and families in our community. Unfortunately, over the past year, I have noticed a significant and concerning change in the environment and, particularly, in the way parents and families are treated. I have personally witnessed multiple interactions involving Danielle Hall that I believe warrant the Board's attention and investigation. In my experience and observations, her communication with parents has at times been dismissive, confrontational, and lacking the professionalism I would expect from someone in a leadership position at an organization serving children. I have witnessed situations in which parents were dealing with difficult circumstances or hardships involving their families, yet rather than appearing to receive understanding or efforts to find reasonable solutions, the conversation focused heavily on the possibility of the child being removed from the Club. One statement I personally heard was particularly concerning. Danielle stated to a parent, "This is my building and I run it how I want to." Regardless of the circumstances surrounding that conversation, I believe statements of this nature should be reviewed by the Board because they can create the impression that parents and families do not have a meaningful voice when concerns arise. I am also concerned about the impact this type of environment may be having on the Club's relationship with the community. My family has been part of the Wyoming community for years, and I have personally heard from many families who have chosen not to return to the Boys & Girls Club because of their experiences with how they were spoken to or treated by Danielle. I understand that not every complaint from a parent necessarily means that wrongdoing has occurred, and I am not asking the Board to reach a conclusion based solely on my letter. I am asking the Board to investigate these concerns fairly and independently. Most importantly, I am asking that my anonymity be respected. I am afraid that if my identity becomes known, my child could experience negative treatment at a place they depend on. No parent should have to choose between speaking up about legitimate concerns and worrying about potential consequences for their child. I sincerely hope the Board will not dismiss these concerns as simply a disagreement between a parent and a staff member. I believe there may be an opportunity for the Board to listen to families, investigate what is happening, and ensure that the Boys & Girls Club remains a safe, supportive, respectful, and welcoming organization for every child and family in our community.
