Apparently when the Farmers Market is in session, you MAY PARK YOUR CAR AT THE KAISER PERMANENTE PARKING LOT:) We did not see this sign until we were walking to the market. My wife was looking for fruits and vegetables, but the fruits won this round. The figs and...I don't remember the other item now. Nevertheless, both items were scrumptious. There were other places around the farmers market that were nice, but Kate's Crepes took the cake. Since we were both hungry, we aquired two crepes. It wasn't enough to satisfy us, but was magically delicious. My wife loves honey and we saw two places that were selling honey. Sorry, no honey combs, but the honey would have be delicious if we had bought some. My wife decided to hold off on buying the honey, but we might buy some next time we are there. While looking around at the other shops at the farmers market, I overheard someone say the farmer's market has expanded this year. This is good to hear. I can't imagine what it was like last year. The weather was very nice and people were sprawled out on blankets basking in the yellow sun. Yeah, the dats of yore. Okay, it was only a week ago. Tomorrow could be an adventure if we go again. I reccomend stopping by the Falls Church Farmers Market when you get the chance. Oh, if you do take the trip there check out the "Hsaw Aknow"...its a would of pure imagination.

Five years ago, I would've given this a three maybe four star market has solidly become one of the…read morebest in the area things to the addition of new vendors. E'buono brings the neighborhood flair with baked goods made from jams, made from fruits grown in their OWN garden. And they're impressively delicious - try their thumbprint and fig cookies!! And my all time fave, Uncle Ping's, with larger than life pulled pork sandwiches (made w love over 12 hours), amazing from scratch, locally sourced ingredients dumplings. Omg this must be heaven. My other favorites here are Pierre's bakery, Mendoza Farms, and Spring Valley Farms. All vendors are fantastic but these have been my go-tos.

This farmer's market has become my happy place during the pandemic. Please note this is not to say…read morethey are not pandemic compliant because they are, you need a mask, there can be lines at vendors as they are servicing one customer per employee at a time, You point and the vendor selects, everyone takes credit cards, and they ask that you move in one direction past the vendors (there are arrows to follow). There is a county team that keeps things moving and compliant. Because of all of these precautions this is a safe place. All that said, it has became a pandemic happy place for me because I can get fresh fruits and veggies, plants, honey, and herbs as well as bread, coffee, desserts, Mediterranean goodies, and Latin American eats. I look forward to enjoying an almond pastry with warm coffee as I carry fresh bread, tomatoes, empanadas with spicy sauce, and garlic whip to my car. I am so glad the vendors here have become more varied than when I first reviewed them a couple years ago. A huge thank you to the both the vendors and team that keeps this operating, I am thankful for this happy place.

Large selection of meats, especially pork products. They were unfortunately out of double yolk eggs which we were curious to try. The bakery section was excellent, especially since they had a no sugar added apple pie that turned out to be delicious. We also bought donuts for the family. Not sure if we'll ever be in Maryland again, but will stop at Miller Farms if we do.

The woman who checked us out was an absolute delight, warm, funny, and exactly what you hope for at a local farm stand. Unfortunately my experience in the herb section was the opposite. When I asked about strawberry plants and was told they didn't have any, I mentioned I was a first time gardener and asked if she could recommend something beginner friendly. Her response was essentially "just pick something, all you have to do is water them." When I explained again that I was new and looking for guidance, she told me she couldn't help me. As a first time gardener trying to learn, that kind of dismissiveness was discouraging. If it weren't for the lovely woman at checkout, I likely wouldn't return. I ended up going to Ed's Plant World in Brandywine where the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful to a beginner. The difference was night and day. That said, I'm giving 4 stars because the place is really awesome in terms of selection and variety. The woman in the herb section may have just been having a bad day. It's absolutely worth checking out.
