We ordered carryout from Asian Wok, and we'll definitely be back! Here's everything we ordered that we'd absolutely get again: Egg Rolls Vegetable Fried Rice (loaded with veggies, which we loved!) Combination Lo Mein (next time we'll order it with just chicken & shrimp) Salt & Pepper Chicken General Tso's Chicken (we ordered it mild, but next time we'll definitely go a little spicier!) The customer service was a 10/10, our order was ready super quickly, everything was packaged really well, and it all made it home hot, fresh, and without any spills or soggy food. We have tried a lot of Asian restaurants since moving here and this will definitely be added to our takeout rotation! Highly recommend! read more

When we walked in, the restaurant was not we expected. It has no waiter/waitress. It has only a few tables and you order the food from the counter. They have a two pages menu marked "take out only" but you can eat in the restaurant. We ordered our food and they delivered in plastic tray boxes. The food turned out pretty good and very good for Wichita. I recommend it if you don't need a more formal meal. read more

It had been a while since we had enjoyed Asian Wok delicious dishes, but decided that it had been TOO LONG‼We ordered our favorites-General Tso's Chicken, Beef with Mixed Vegetables, Combination Lo Mein, and pork egg rolls-and savored every bite. Asian Wok is definitely going back into our take dinner rotation. Like many in our community, we mourned the loss of Yook. Her spirit lives on the excellence of Chef's food. Thank you to Chef and your staff creating the best Asian dishes in Wichita. read more

Café Asia used to be one of my all-time favorite Asian restaurants anywhere in the USA, so you can imagine my joy when I found out that the owners of this much beloved establishment have been operating Asian Wok since 2021. I wish I had known this sooner, but we immediately had to check out the "new" place. Compared to Café Asia, Asian Wok has a more condensed menu, shorter hours, and are carry-out only, all of which makes for a more efficient business model. Just like Café Asia, the food here is still the same - the best fried rice (get it spicy), Panang Curry, and chips and strawberry sauce. Above all, the best part is the owner still has the same energy, smile, warmth, and love in everything she does. I can't wait to come back here on my next visit to Wichita. read more

The Mrs. and I (Mr. JJ) as they call me - stopped after the newness had worn off.... Cafe Asia was my all-time favorite with their "flat noodle" Char Kuew Teow - combination with chicken, beef and shrimp! The manufacturing plant for the noodles closed so they no longer serve that "for now"." Everything we ever order is always more food than we need from this generous Wichita family. We are so glad they are back and serving again. The location is adjacent to 5 Guys at 29th & Rock Rd. Hours are online and change often. Get used to it - because they can! I really enjoy their food in the comfort of home, but they now offer about 6-7 tables for dine-in. Tonight I had spice Rice Noodle Combination and my wife had Pad Thai combination (no spice) Damn it's good. Just sayin' Yelpers!! read more

We order carry out 3-4 times per month. The beef and vegetables, Penang chicken curry both ordered with with "medium" spice are some of our favorites. Consistently delicious with fresh ingredients. read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight - we had Pad Thai, Singapore Rice Noodles w Shrimp, General Tso's Chicken, and pork egg rolls. The person on the phone was very kind, and they were very friendly in person when we picked up. The food was hot, tasted awesome, and was filled to the brim. Why can't all places be like this? I'm a little ashamed I haven't been there before, and the whole family agreed we need to make this a regular stop. Waaaaay better than Great Wall, and also some Malaysian and Thai dishes! read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Wichita. The service is amazing- the people are so friendly. Went in before Christmas after the snow/ice and my table was given free egg drop soup to warm up. Very considerate. The Pad Thai is delicious! Ever time I go I want to try something new but I just love it so much I can't! Portion sizes are great for the price! The crab rangoon with their sauce is the perfect starter! read more

We stopped in for take out maybe an hour before they closed. They were OUT of rice. How does an Asian restaurant run out of rice? I understand not wanting to waste food but really, when you're getting low, make more BEFORE you run out. We were given the option to wait 20 minutes while they made rice or we could substitute noodles. One other thing they do that irked me was how they get rid of their trash. On the surface this looks good. You're order is packaged in plastic, they placed in a box. Instead of paying to throw out their produce boxes, they're handing the customers food in them, along with plastic containers and bags, so that the customer now has to throw the box away with their trash or recyclables. So what about the food? Average at best. We had the Pineapple shrimp, sesame chicken, crab Rangoon and lime in noodles because we didn't have 20 minutes to wait on the rice. It was decent but not great. The crab Rangoon's were made in the pocket style, which I don't care for because they're usually not crispy, and these were soggy. It's a small place that does mostly carry out but has a few tables. The interior is a little more intimate, unlike the cafeteria look of many small Asian restaurants. Would I go back? Maybe, but only if I can get rice with my meal. No more noodle substitutions and they can throw out their own trash. I don't need a box for two meals to go. read more

The owner is super nice! We came in wanting some fried rice and didn't realize it was only to go that day. But she let us sit outside and eat and even gave us complimentary egg drop soup. My husband ordered spicy fried rice and general TSO. And it was way too spicy for me. But he liked it. I liked their egg rolls and the sweet and sour sauce is my favorite that I've found in Wichita so far. It reminds me of my grandma's restaurant's sauce. It's very nicely decorated inside. She takes care her own plants in the front. It's almost like a home. I appreciated her hospitality and she took time to know a little about us. read more

This is the best ever!! We love this place. My favorite is the Chicken with Vegetables.

Good food that's consistent, great value - definitely can get 2 meals out of most entrees, friendly people, ready in 15 minutes, and they have some kids menu options if you ask. read more

Delicious food and great services. We ordered multiple party trays for our Thanksgiving gathering. So glad we found a place to order food. read more

Delicious, fresh food with large portions. Bonus is the nicest person working the front! Will definitely try more dishes in the future.

I can't say enough good things about this place! No wonder it's a local favorite! Within a matter of only a couple of visits, the waitress, Pei, learned our names and what we typically like to eat. Even after not visiting for a couple of months, she still remembered! At my last visit, Pei was training staff at another location, so the restaurant was doing carry-out only that day. That's OK, we just took our order to-go and ate at the picnic table right outside on their patio. We were attended to and treated so well that it felt like we were still getting full service! The person that took our order event comp'd our drinks as an apology for the "inconvenience" - no inconvenience at all! Super impressed with this place! P.S. - I highly recommend the Pepper Steak. They special-order their meat, and they give you enough portions (along with a variety of vegetables), that it's like getting a steak dinner at a high-end restaurant! Extremely high value for the money!! read more

I can't believe I forgot to review this place till now. We've been big fans since they were Cafe Asia over on Central and Woodlawn and we lived in the neighborhood. Now they have a new name and location and we live on the west side, but we are still regular customers. Like every week regular. Their food is hands down the highest quality and tastiest in town. The never ever skimp on meat and other expensive ingredients. We love the Malaysian rice noodles! It's a family run place, and they are my most favorite family business to support. They are so fantastic about accommodating our requests and they consistently go the extra mile. read more

This place is really nice. It's small but not crowded. They do a brisk takeout business. I ate in the dining room. The roti was very good. The salad had a sweet and sour type of dressing that I liked but some might not. I got the salt and paper chicken, spicy. They asked about the spicy. It was excellent. I will return. If I lived close it would become a regular place. read more

Five stars ? Really ! Had the salt/pepper chicken...terrible. Chicken very dry, vegetables over cooked except for the broccoli which was raw. Why can't Asian restaurants steam broccoli before they stir fry? Go down the street a little to Oh Yea you will be happier. read more

Great food very friendly staff. I'll definitely be back. Food was plentiful and priced right. They seem to do a lot of carry out.

Ive been coming to the since they were Cafe Asia for about 12 years and have never been disappointed in the food! The service is warm, friendly and they treat you like family. I've liked every meal I've tried! Salt and pepper chicken and the green chicken curry are my 2 favorites! The fried rice can't be missed either. They also catered our wedding and the food is still being talked about 5 years later! read more

Their food is so fresh & delicious. The spices are wonderful also. Pei was our server & she was so friendly & inviting. The only downside is its way up North & I Iive down south & I crave their food all the time. Can't wait to eat there again soon! read more

Our new favorite place to eat. The best service & food comes out HOT!! We will be back!

Food is fresh and great. Not the typical greasy overpriced Chinese food we are used to.

First of all they're always busy because it's that good! Big portions and always cooked fresh on the spot so it's always hot! I love their seafood fried rice and Kung Pao Chicken! There's a variety of other plates but these two are my favorites! Can't believe I've been driving by not knowing about this place, which I had known sooner! read more

I looked up Chinese food on line. I am from out of town. The rating was very high 4.7!! My friend and I wanted to dine in but that was not available. It was some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. And believe me I love Chinese food. Surprise Surprise it wasn't salty! Oh, how I wish to have cooking lessons from these people so I can make stir fry's better for myself. I'd drive to Wichita for that and you can be sure the next time I am in Whichita I will find Asian Wok again. read more

Definitely my favorite Asian food in Wichita. Everything is good! Salt Pepper Chicken is crazy good!

This is the same owner of Cafe Asia. If you are looking for a good Asian food. This is the place.

Food is delicious! First tried the Combo Pad Thai on my initial visit, and in my second visit I had the salt and pepper chicken and both times 5/5. These are the original owners of Malaysia Cade and Cafe Asia! They know what they are doing! read more

Excellent food. Mike and Yok always aim to please their customers. The "Mamma's Special" is a fabulous udon noodle soup created by Yok herself! It's not listed in the menu, but it's a must try. Wonderful Pad Thai and excellent service from the staff. I highly recommend this place!!! read more
