Dr. Sacotte was seen for a routine annual skin check at Affiliated Dermatologists. I have seen a…read morenumber of providers there in the past, and have always had a great experience at Affiliated Dermatologists. I was happy to hear that there was a new Oak Creek location that opened, which was much closer to home. He was friendly, but his exam of my skin was very brief and not thorough. I rely on the dermatologists to look in areas of my body that I cannot see well. My back, my hair, etc... He hardly checked my back, did not check my hair and anything that was covered, he did not uncover (even my socks). This exam was the quickest skin exam that I have ever had. I brought up 2 places on my legs that "I" was a bit concerned about and he agreed to remove these and send for biopsy. The RN that works with him is very sweet and kind and did very well with the intradermal lidocaine to numb the areas, however, I really think that Dr. Sacotte should have taken the time to do his own intradermal injections. Him leaving the room, the RN coming to numb the areas and then him coming back was odd and it was a first. 1 of the spots came back as melanoma and 1 was severely dysplastic. I do not believe Dr. Sacotte would have found these on his own. When he called me on the phone, he also told me he may need to have another physician perform the surgery to remove the melanoma and dysplastic lesion and that these 2 procedures would need to be done on 2 separate days as "no one" has enough time to book these procedures together. (Mind you, these lesions were both 6 inches apart on the same leg!) I was not impressed and frankly, not confident in the care I received and opted to not return there to have the surgery to remove the tissue surrounding the lesions. To top it off, while Affiliated Dermatologists IS covered "in network" with my insurance, the pathologist that they sent my tissue to was "out of network" and I needed to pay the entire pathology bill! In the end, I went to a different dermatology clinic (a physician that previously worked at Affiliated Dermatologists, that now opened a new clinic in Franklin). After contacting him and reviewing my pathology results, he got me in within 2 weeks and completed both areas at the same appointment (and he, not his RN, numbed both areas up by the way). Both areas now have clean margins (their pathologist WAS "in network") and I was very happy and confident with the care that I received. I called Affiliated Dermatologists to discuss my care and the bill that I received and I never received a call back from either area. Very disappointing.

My comments on their personal site were deleted and I had an aquaintance had her similar comments deleted as well. In fact, you'll have a hard time finding ANY comments on injectables on their page. Lipo performed by the Dr. himself, seems to produce many happy people. The assistants were just short of rude regarding my concerns and I doubt the good Dr. was ever even enlightened of my case. Do yourself a favor and seek an establishment who SPECIALIZES in injectables. Which made me feel very uncomfortable.I proceeded to walk in and the lady said to me you have an appointment I said yes at 12 o'clock for a foot massage. She pointed to the sign and said massage or body massage. I said foot massage. She said $60 for 30 minutes which I felt was a little expensive. I was already feeling a little uneasy in the environment because being a older woman I've had my share of foot and body massage massages. This environment was not a typical massage place. I should've turned around because there was something wrong with the setting of this establishment. She proceeded to tell me I needed to pay $60 before the service was even completed. I responded with I have never paid before I receive the service before and she just proceeded to smirk at me. I(I agree I should've left), but I just felt like I made I didn't wanna break the appointment because with the up and up establishment that would've been very rude to me, but even though I felt very uneasy starting with the doorbell on the front of the building to get in. I gave her $60 in cash. She proceeded to count it, put it in her pocket and told me to go to the room which I have never laid on a bed for a foot massage. Any other foot massage I have ever had was over a foot bowl with warm water and oils to soften your feet. I just keep telling myself this place is not for a foot massage. I should've left!!! I Should've left!!! I walked into the room. There was no pillowcase on the pillow. She threw a hand towel over the top of a pillow. I could not relax. All I could hear was the clock that would tik tok to every squeeze and pull to my feet. There was no essentials aroma smells or soothing music nothing but dead silence with a clock that was ticking. She might of used one or two pumps for the whole foot massage of 30 minutes. She put a blanket on me which I have never experienced for a foot massage. She proceeded to massage my feet by pulling on my toes and pinching my feet and pounding on my calves. I heard the doorbell and then a gentleman walked in and the lady said do you have a appointment? He said no and then he said do you have availability for one hour massage and she said yes go lay down in the room. She never asked him to pay before the service. This place is sketchy stay away. Once she left the room I put my shoes and socks back on I wanted to know what she was using on my foot massage, and it was Sauve body lotion!! I SHOULD HAVE LEFT!! I wanted to ask for my money back, but I was in a situation that I shouldn't be in and this establishment wasn't for a foot massage!!! I didn't trust the environment.!!! It was the worst experience I've ever experienced in my lifetime !! Lessoned learned!!! I will never be back to Spa Massage THERAPY on 27th Street.
