I think this might be my last visit to Claiborne Hill. The deli employees were rude to me and told…read moreme to take my mask off to ask a basic question. They then said they didn't sell half chickens when they had them for sale last week. Three guys were laying on the floor in the produce area trying to fix broken equipment. A wall was knocked down in the deli. The building is falling apart. The aisles are so cluttered that someone needs to call Hoarders.

I have been shopping at Claiborne Hill since we moved to Picayune 23 years ago. I always thought it…read morewas the best grocery store around. Unfortunately in the past couple of years it has really declined in quality and customer service. The seafood Dept used to be a real star now they don't properly store their fish in the display case so it gets dried out and begins to stink. The produce used to be good now you absolutely have to check the expiration date. The managers I have interacted with are way to inexperienced and have 0 customer service skills. The store has an oder to it that is unpleasing like spoiled meat and fish. We have switch our primary shopping to Slidell and only do spot shopping at Claiborne Hill. I hope someone at Aquistapace reads this and gets the problems fixed. I would prefer to support a local store.

Make sure you squirt some of their bbq sauce into some little cups to put on it.

We finally stop by this one after our first attempt was a fail. This gas station was well lid and clean when we drove in. Subway was adjoining to this place were closed but it was ok. We end up grabing sandwiches and used their microwave to heat up the pizzas they sold. I'm done with this location (still love their wine store) - no matter how pleasant the moment may…read morehave been throughout the store, the cashiers at this location are horrific... the absolute worst. In an experience that mimics my previous review, but this time with the eye rolling Dymond S. who would not utter a word to me despite my attempt at pleasantries - yet she would stop the transaction to say hello and see how someone (who was obviously a friend) was doing whilst the friend was walking out the door. Then immediately back to ignoring me. She then proceeded to throw my Veuve Clicquot into the same bag as the Tiger Sauce - with nothing but a small paper bag to contain the shards should they have busted against one another. And then without a word or even eye contact, held my receipt out for me to take. What is wrong with this location that their cashiers can't just be decent human beings and employ basic kindness to customers? We're not asking for a parade or to be fawned over, a simple response to a kind hello would suffice. But you choose to be nasty, without provocation, and I just cannot understand why.
