This is not about the quality of the massage. The massage was good enough. Today was the 3rd time that they have haggled me over tip. So this will probably be my last visit. I tip usually around 20%. I told them what I wanted to leave and the girl started arguing with me. Tip is not mandatory. Nor is an amount if you do leave one which I always do. To be hassled over it is just bad form and bad business. You don't see waiters and waitresses doing that. There are other spots in the neighborhood to go to. May be time. read more

Very bad! Stay away. Very dirty, old and smelly! I got a half-hour deep tissue massage(ONLY FOR THE BACK) . First of all, what deep tissue I asked several times for more pressure. Second, I asked many times for only the back. Not the legs and the arms. I just wanted my back. Not much of a relaxing place!! You can hear anyone talking, on top of that my massage person left me alone for 5 times. You ask for what?? Sorry to say I have no idea!!! Never going back. I've been here a few times and got lucky with great masseuses, but today was the exception. A young male masseuse gave me one of the worst massages ever. I couldn't focus on relaxing because all I could think was, "When is this going to end?" He was completely unskilled and just rubbed my back and legs up and down the entire time. He didn't identify any stiff areas or use any circular motions. I did not feel like my muscles were any looser after the massage, and it ended quite abruptly. I agree with other reviews that this place is stuffy, which wasn't the case the first few times I went. Then when I paid, he asked how much I was going to tip, which I did tip to be polite, but I've never been asked to do so. I'm a regular My favorite options are: $40 "Combo Massage" 60 minutes (full body + foot massage) $50 "Body Massage" 60 minutes (no foot massage, so more time on the back and rest of body) $60 "Combo Massage" 90 minutes (full body + foot massage) You can usually call to make an appointment for the same day. They run on time and give you the full amount of time. Please tip generously as their prices are low and they work hard. I tip $15 or $20. What to expect: They show you into your room and close the curtain to give you privacy. I take all my clothes off but keep my underwear on and then I lay face down on the massage table and put the sheet over my body. Then they knock to ask if you are ready before they come in. They will massage your back, butt, legs, and shoulders. Hot stone is included, where they literally rub hot stones into your back and shoulder muscles for relaxation. They use oil on your back to massage and then use a hot towel to remove the oil. Then they will ask you to turn over and lay face up to massage your head, arms, feet, legs. They use lotion to massage your arms and feet and then use a hot towel to wipe it off your feet. The massage usually finishes with some light hitting and stretching. Special requests/ other offerings: You can always request harder or softer, or point them to a specific area that you want massaged. They usually don't speak English, but will understand. My husband came here on Sunday and said he had a good experience, so I decided to give it a try.. I dont know where to start, I had a terrible experience. My masseuse Amy started off light and fast, so fast that I felt like I was being rushed out, then when I couldn't take it anymore, I asked her to focus on my shoulders more and more strength thinking she would listen.. she started using her elbows but not even massaging just rolling her forearms in a fast pace over my sacrum and it started hurting so I asked again for her to focus on shoulders to which she reluctantly went to my shoulder area and barely stayed and focused. Trying to be positive that maybe she sucks on the back and would be better on my legs or feet, she was so fast and rolled with her arms on my legs instead of using any hands.. overall I wouldn't waste my time or money here.. read more

The man masseuse applied too much pressure even when I asked to soften, he laughed as he massaged my (braided) hair and nearly burnt my back with the hot stones. The lady doing my massage also seemed to be the receptionist so was in and out the whole time. She also had a cold and was coughing and sneezing all over me. As for the massage itself, 45 mins of it www a her rubbing her elbow into my back. I kept asking if she would do a lotion massage and she kept basically telling me it would come. So about 30-40 minutes of it was an actual regular body masSage (what I paid for which was definitely more than the foot massage or combo massage). Not sure I'd go back. read more

Make sure you know what you're getting upfront. I wanted the Combo Massage, and I thought that's what I had said over the phone. After the massage, I kinda felt confused because I didn't get the 30min foot rub. As I'm going to pay, I guess she had given me the 90min Full body massage. Also, again, I was expecting the combo massage. The massage is $60, I was tipping $20. But because I guess I got the "full body massage" I paid $70 instead, and she insisted I tip more. I gave her another $10 just because I felt pressured and she literally said it was a low tip. I don't tip HIGH but I definitely don't tip LOW. Ever. I don't know, maybe I made the mistake? Overall, Paying $90 for something that was good, but not necessarily what I actually wanted. I might go back, but again, I'm going to have to clarify with my masseuse exactly what I'm expecting. Anyways, the massage was actually really great!! Like my Lower back feels relaxed, and same for my traps, because I have really tight traps. She used a variety of techniques and applied enough pressure to where it actually felt like a massage. She would also ask me how things felt, or if more or less pressure was needed.
