Called and they quickly confirmed they'd be available in 15 min to do a one hour massage ($60). Excellent massage, and felt a lot better afterwards! Gave 4/5 stars because lady there is a one woman show, and had to stop mid massage several times to answer phone and attend customers walking in. She also wouldn't punch my "get 10 massages and receive free 30 min foot massage" card because I didn't give more than a $20 tip, which was weird, but a commonly random "rule" at many of these establishments. But nonetheless, will come back again!

I got a so-so massage and she told me my time was up. I got dressed and she demanded another $60. tip. I replied that I already paid upon arrival and she said 90 minutes is a long massage. I said that I more than paid for the massage. She demanded the additional $60 several more times and when I refused, she got very angry and threw me out the back door. When I got to my car, I realized that my massage was only 50 minutes, not the 90 minutes I paid for. This place is forever off my places to visit. If you are smart, you will avoid this location too. There are other, more reputable places close by.

I don't think I've ever changed a Yelp review to actually increase the number of stars, but my…read moremassages here just keep getting better & better (very unusual) the more I come. At this point I think I can honestly say (having come here 4 times now) that this is the best massage I've ever received - ever. Sylar works very hard on my knots and tight muscles to the point where I sometimes wonder how he can maintain that kind of hand-arm strength for 60 mins. (frankly, I'd be exhausted). Also, Sylar sometimes will use different tools of his trade like hot stones or "cupping" devices if he thinks it will enhance my results. I will say that you should be very clear in your communication with Sylar about what you want worked on, how much pressure, if something hurts. He's never offended or gives any attitude from feedback - he just adjusts accordingly. I used to just wince in pain and keep quiet when other massage places would go too hard (painful!) but I know now that most massage therapists (Inc. Sylar) WANT you to tell them: "little less/little more pressure please" and I say this throughout the massage (I'm no longer concerned about offending a therapist). Try this place. It's a beautiful massage studio owned by a very kind & hard-working husband/wife team.
