I never like giving poor reviews but I am really disappointed with my service. I came here to get my eyebrows threaded and the lady I had took forever to complete my one service. For perspective the other lady working next to me finished three, almost four peoples eyebrows in the same time span as my singular service. And I promise it's not like I have thick or super messy eyebrows. Unfortunately, that isn't the worse part. I knew going into this, it was going to be painful (I regularly get my eyebrows done and have some expectations on how much it's going to hurt). However, it was extremely painful. I got them done yesterday afternoon and woke up this morning with cuts all over my eyelids and the skin around my brows is still sore. It's not like this service was cheap either. This place has really gone downhill over the years. I've been going here since 2016, and the service used to always be consistent- and $10 for threading! The past few years it's creeped up to $14 with no way to leave a tip on the card, and it's become really run down. I feel like the overall atmosphere here is that everyone is always miserable. I walk in, and either there's no one up front for a few minutes to say hello or get started, or they're sitting in the corner on their phone in silence (the entire store is silent,) until after I've signed in and made my way to a chair. The job they do nowadays is rushed and spotty. I always leave there feeling like I'm going to have to pluck something myself when I go home. Recently, they've turned the front of the too-large-for-them space into a a store filled with sweatshop clothing and tchotchke's. I wish they money they invested into that would've been used for employee threading and professionalism training. read more

Yesterday, I mustered up the courage to try eyebrow threading. I've only ever waxed or plucked, so this is a totally new concept for me. I've seen this location when I passed through the parking lot to go to the shoe store also in the shopping center (and fine, to eat at the chain "Italian" place in there too). I wasn't busy yesterday, so I figured, what the hell? I'll try this out. Upon walking in, you see a very spacious and clean store. It even smelled clean in there. That's something very important to me at any salon-type of place. So, they already met my first rule of thumb: cleanliness. They weren't busy, but there was only one person working and she already had a customer. No problem, put your name in the book at the front door, and have a seat. The previous customer was finished in no time, and it was my turn. I probably should have let the threader (I'm not sure what their actual title is) know that it was my first time, because she jumped right in, and the first threading was a little shocking, though not terrible at all. No worse than waxing, but definitely different. She continued to do her thing for maybe two minutes on each brow, and it was all done. She took out some scissors, and got rid of some of the longer hairs in the center of the brow, too. I took a look in the mirror and the result is definitely not what I'm used to. I'm not sure if this type of eyebrow maintenance is just different than waxing because the method has limitations or what, but I didn't get much of a shape on my brows. They're definitely clean and neat looking, but there's no shape to them. I can see how maybe precision in some areas would be hard to do with a thread as opposed to just smearing wax around, so I assume that's the issue. I'm still not sure how much I like this, though, but I'm definitely going to give it another try (sometimes change takes a while to get used to, afterall). Since I have more knowledge going in, I'll ask about a little more shape next time, and update my review then. Overall, I liked the experience. I actually liked going into a place that isn't a manicure/pedicure place, too. It was less hectic and less noisy. The price was fine ($10 for brows), but bring cash, as you can't add a tip to your card. And they have a punch card, which is good for a free $10 threading after you buy 10. read more

This place fell off. I've been coming to this same place for over 6 years and after my last visit I've decided that I'll be going somewhere else to get my eyebrows threaded. They used to do a great job but their service has definitely declined. My last visit was the worst experience I've had. I believe the lady was new, she kept moving me around as she struggled to get the lower part of my eyebrows. Towards the end of my second eyebrow she asked me if this was my first time as if I was the reason she was struggling. The threading took at least 10 mins and it was the worst job I've seen. With the amount of pain and time it took I was expecting it to be immaculate. I was very disappointed to say the least. read more

So I'm ginger and I have blonde eyebrows . They are hard to see in the first place. I went in for a threading and tint and ended up with caterpillars stuck to my face. I was also charged an extra $15 to apply the tint. To round everything off the threading caused quite a bit of bleeding. The gentle mean at the desk snatched the copy of the receipt from me when I went to grab it and made a slight issue of printing me another ! I would highly suggest not getting your brows done at this salon, if I could give negative starts I would !!!!! read more

Been coming her for awhile, never had a problem. Muna did my brows this morning. Never had her before. What an awful experience. Impolite. Rude. Rushed. Rough. My brows are uneven, spotty, still a ton of regrowth in the middle of my eyes. I asked her if she could go back over....only for me to see that the regrowth was still there and she'd yanked a bald spot right in the middle of the thickest part of my eyebrow. This place is usually great. But if I ever see her working again I'll make sure to run the other way. read more

Threading is my preferred choice of hair removal from my face. With that said, I have gone to this place 5 or 6 times. The first two times were great and gave me hope that I found some ladies that compared to my one in Texas. Unfortunately every time I have gone since then I have been getting cuts. The first time I though "oh it's probably an accident, whatever." I have always enjoyed almost all other Asian Eywbrow Theading I've been to, but I just left here and Dipa was the only one when we got there. She didn't greet us, except to say "sign in please". I let that slide. I signed in asking for 3 services (2 aside from eyebrows), she never looked at, but motioned toward chair to sit down. I sat, she started on my eyebrows and when she was done, she said "you're done" She didn't even offer to put oil or some type of skin conditioner like almost all over threaders do when they are done. I ask "I would like my upper lip and chin done too" had she looked at my sign in she would've expected it. She started on my upper lip and although fast like I like I felt like she was rough. She did my chin the same way and I felt the same about it. She again says "you're done" when I ask, "could I get some oil or conditioner for my skin please?" She looked put out by the request and opened the drawer, took something out and put some drops on a cotton ball and handed it to me to do myself. I said thank you and paid and she did not get a tip. I want to say that I have never done that before, but she had no kind of customer service and just wasn't nice. Never said hello when we came in and didn't say goodbye or have a nice day or anything like that. I will not be patronizing this business again. :( read more

I went yesterday for brow service. I have very thick brows. I had Let them grow back so I could get a fabulous arch. I have the brows that people get tattoed on or draw in--when the brow person is an artist. These ladies were disappointing. The First Lady didn't know what to do when I showed her what I had in mind so she referred me to senior. They said "your brows can't be like that. Yours don't grow that way....BLAH blah blah" that is code for "I don't know how to Shape your brows properly. I can only thread." The senior did my brows while the other two ladies hovered over me watching her work. When she felt She was finished she gave me a mirror. I was like (in my mind)...what? Is she BLIND? She cannot possibly Think she has completed Her task!!. This is NOT sharp, clean, finished look I hoped for. So I asked Her to alter it. The second time I looked. I knew they were Not brow artists. I just said let me Leave well enough alone. And I left as it was obvious they couldn't do what I needed. They were Just Threaders. Since I went for brow service and they are incompetent on the art of Brows....they get one star. I used to really enjoy coming here when Mun used to work here, however the girls keep changing and they cut my eyebrow each time I go. I had a straight line of blood right under my eyebrow which left it swollen and in pain. It is now just a cut that is very visible. The shape is fine, however the cut is very visible and painful. I have been to this place two or three times before and they were ok. I went today and if I could give it negative stars I would. I went for eyebrows and chin. Eyebrows were mediocre. Now let's get to the chin. She went super fast, didn't brush off any of the hairs, and didn't apply any kind of antiseptic after. Only thing she did was hand me a Kleenex. I never got to see what my brows or chin area looked like after as she never handed me a mirror. When I wiped my chin area it was very bloody. Very annoyed with this place and will never be back. However, every technician that works at this location does an amazing job.. every time. I refuse to go anywhere else. Update: Since making my original review, so many new technicians have come in and out of this place. It's hard to keep up with who will actually listen to what I want done to MY brows.
